About: I have experience working at a dog daycare, (Dana’s Dog Spa and Daycare in Hutchinson, MN) where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities in a fast-paced environment. My responsibilities included supervising playgroups, feeding, cleaning, and making sure each dog was safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ve also spent many years caring for the pets of friends and family, providing reliable cat and dog sitting while they were away and regularly walking their dogs. I’ve always looked forward to spending time with them, and I genuinely enjoy caring for animals! I am available mornings (7am - 10:30 am) and evenings (4pm - 11 pm) on M, T, TH, and F. About: I have dog sat for various different families since being in college. Growing up my family lived on a small hobby farm as well and therefore I am accustomed to many different animals and their needs. I enjoy the routine and exercise caring for dogs requires and I hope I can help make your travels less stressful knowing your dogs are in good hands! I am a full time special education teacher and therefore I am off during the summer months which frees me up to care for others pets during the week and weekends. During the school year, my weekends are free and allows for dog care. I am not offering services in my own home. I have a clear understanding of leave things how they were before I got to the house. For example, if I’m staying the weekend I leave with dishes cleaned, bed stripped, and floor vacuumed. If I am walking the dog, I clean up any mess that may have been made with the walk as well. I am gentle, but firm when needed for the dogs. If your dog doesn’t do well with other dogs, I will try to take a low traffic area or follow what works best for you all so the dog has its routine. My goal with each service is to act similarly to you as owners so that the dog has a sense of routine and safety.
About: I worked 8 years, almost 9, and The Dog Hut LLC. I've helped care for dogs as young as 2 months and dogs well into their senior years. I'm happy to give medication to any dogs that need it and make sure they get extra cuddles and someone to "talk to". I am also very open to more than just dogs. I worked for 4 years at the Dane County Humane Society caring for Guinee Pigs, rats, and a non venomous snake. I am currently between jobs so any day works well for me. I'm happy to come late morning and well into the night to feed, water, and play with your pets who need that. Or just lend a happy presence, for the cats and cat-like pets who just need a simple hello. At my home I do not have a fully fenced in yard but am within walking distance of a few paths so even if your dog will be on leash they will get a wonderful walk in. Bringing their own toys and comfort items will be needed as I only have a cat currently. Also your dog must be cat friendly or will need to have a kennel brought with them should they be staying. I am okay staying over at my client's place should the need arise, can give medication and will give them all the playtime and snuggle breaks they need. I will be wary of weather changes so I can give them quick breaks outside and make sure they still can get energy out should it be an inside kind of day.
About: I have 10 pets in my current home. I have experience with a very large dog, a puppy, a spunky as well as medically needy cat and other animals. I take pride in good care and prioritizing the animals needs. I take about 2 classes a day but am free anytime in between, before or after! About: I’ve owned dogs, cats, horses for years. No job is too big. I work in veterinary medicine as a technician. I am comfortable with medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids, etc. I currently work full time at Spring Harbor Animal Hospital. I am able to stop morning and evenings around work and then more on weekends! If you need services overnight I do try to check on my kitties before settling in with your pet for the night. In the client home I am very respectful of spaces and leave it as found. I will follow all rules both for myself and for your pet.
