This is the first time in the last six years we did not have someone come in to the home. The pictures showed a relaxed, happy dog and her tail and ears were high when I arrived to pick her up. Dogs know people and she is loyal to "her pack", but our dog loved being a part of Kristin and Bruce's pack. I highly recommend Kristin and Bruce. You will not be disappointed!”

About: I worked 8 years, almost 9, and The Dog Hut LLC. I've helped care for dogs as young as 2 months and dogs well into their senior years. I'm happy to give medication to any dogs that need it and make sure they get extra cuddles and someone to "talk to". I am also very open to more than just dogs. I worked for 4 years at the Dane County Humane Society caring for Guinee Pigs, rats, and a non venomous snake. I am currently between jobs so any day works well for me. I'm happy to come late morning and well into the night to feed, water, and play with your pets who need that. Or just lend a happy presence, for the cats and cat-like pets who just need a simple hello. At my home I do not have a fully fenced in yard but am within walking distance of a few paths so even if your dog will be on leash they will get a wonderful walk in. Bringing their own toys and comfort items will be needed as I only have a cat currently. Also your dog must be cat friendly or will need to have a kennel brought with them should they be staying. I am okay staying over at my client's place should the need arise, can give medication and will give them all the playtime and snuggle breaks they need. I will be wary of weather changes so I can give them quick breaks outside and make sure they still can get energy out should it be an inside kind of day.

“I just got a new puppy recently and realized he liked to bark. I have an apartment so the two don’t go together. I contacted Lorelei and she got back to me right away as I was in a panic the night before work. She was able to help watch Beau while I worked long hours. I got tons of videos and pictures reassuring me throughout the day. Beau came home tired and worn out from playing with the other dogs. Lorelei took into consideration he was a puppy and took him on lots of potty breaks and blocked off the stairs so he wouldn’t fall, since he was still new to those. About: Growing up, I adored the family cat and dog, and was responsible for their care throughout my teen years. Cuddles and Fidget were a bonded pair who lived long, happy lives and passed within months of each other in 2020 while I was in lockdown abroad (I’m so not over it). As an adult renter, circumstances have not yet allowed me to have a dog or cat of my own. I turned to pet sitting as a way to continue connecting with these precious creatures who have so much to teach us about stillness, acceptance and the art of living in the moment. I also love reptile friends such as snakes and geckos! My work as an artist allows me great scheduling flexibility. This gives me the freedom to check in on your pets as often as they need, and keep them company throughout the day and night. Your pets are my top priority when they are in my care. I watch pets in their own home where they feel safest and can continue their routines as uninterrupted as possible during their primary caregivers absence. I talk to them and interact with them like they are my close friends - they get to know all my secrets! Having written instructions to refer back to during the stay, which are discussed beforehand with an opportunity for questions and clarification, is extremely helpful in understanding how to provide the best care possible. My goal is simple: for you to leave knowing your pet is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. As someone who is used to having a pet at home with me at all times, I miss that dog energy! I am excited to care for yours with attention, affection, and reliability. Although I have an unfenced yard, your pet's safety is always my priority. I use leashes for all outdoor time and love taking walks, playing, and giving pets plenty of exercise and attention.
“Kristin and Bruce did a great job with my older dog, Madigan. She is sometimes anere xious to be away from home, but she was at ease from the minute we walked in the door. This is the first time in the last six years we did not have someone come in to the home. The pictures showed a relaxed, happy dog and her tail and ears were high when I arrived to pick her up. Dogs know people and she is loyal to "her pack", but our dog loved being a part of Kristin and Bruce's pack. I highly recommend Kristin and Bruce. You will not be disappointed!”
“Rona took excellent care of Basie and Mimi while we were away! She sent us regularly updates of the doggies sleeping, eating, and playing and she made sure that they wore their sweaters when they went outside in the chilly weather. Definitely would book again, she's amazing!”

“Our dog stayed with Kaycee and her family for 10 days, and we had a wonderful experience. She sent me photos every day, and they took him for walks even though they have a fenced backyard. The kids in the family gave Swift lots of attention, and he played with their family dog. Very sweet family — I highly recommend them for dog boarding.”

“Val and his wife took wonderful care of our dog, Pepper. We were out of town for almost a week and Pepper was in very good hands. Val sends updates and photos, and accommodates the needs of each individual dog he cares for. He made sure Pepper was comfortable, safe, and got the food and exercise she needed. We will definitely have our dog stay with Val again next time we are on a trip.”
