“Jessica and her kiddos were great to my dog! He got along well with her doggos and she kept them all super active! Really appreciated all the pictures and updates while I was gone. Would 100%book with her again!”

“This was Gatsby’s second time staying with Edith and he had a blast. The second we pulled up to Edith’s house he lost his mind with excitement realizing where we were! Edith sent frequent updates and photos and I knew Gatsby was getting the best care. Thanks Edith!”

“They did a great job providing updates and showing that our dog was having a great time. They were responsive and easy to work with, and could tell that they really cared for our dog.”

“Tessa did an amazing job watching Rena. She gave the best pup-dates complete with pictures and videos so we had peace of mind knowing our gal was doing ok! Tessa took extra care understanding Rena had some anxiety and gave her love, attention, and - most importantly - lots of walks and outdoor time. We can’t thank Tessa enough!”

“Lindsey did a fantastic job of taking care of Coco. During my trip, I had travel delays and Lindsey was more than accommodating to help with last minute changes. She gave me frequent updates on Coco and I felt very at ease knowing that my fur baby was in very good hands. Would highly recommend!”

“Estrella loved going to Sarah's house! She always has a fun time playing with Sarah's dogs and she met a new friend in the regular daycare dog they host. We got lots of adorable pictures and videos and Estrella came home tired and happy!”

“Refine and her family were great hosts! Communication was great and I felt comfortable leaving Blaze with them! If Blaze gets better with potty training I would love for them to keep him again! He was wore out coming home this morning for sure!”

“Olivia watched my cat, Tony, for 8 days, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She made me feel completely comfortable leaving him in her care alongside her two cats. I received daily updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Tony was well cared for and happy. I would absolutely recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. 10/10!”

“Stephanie was great! She was easy to work with, took fantastic care of our pup. Our girl wasn't sure she wanted to leave. She sent lots of pictures and provided a fun and active environment. Would highly recommend!”

“Fabulous! Mack gave her 4 paws up and he would have given her more but he only has 4 paws. He has been online trying one to buy me more airline trips so he can go back to Steph and live the good life. Can’t praise her enough. Deb Spencley”

“Emily was great with our big, young and very energetic dog! She has a great fenced in yard and our dog had a blast! He was very tired when he got home! We would definitely use her again!”

“Jenny and her family did an excellent job watching Teddy and giving him the best experience during the holidays. It was even his birthday and they went above and beyond to throw a birthday party for him! We are so appreciative of how well Teddy was treated and all the photo updates were reassuring. Teddy is looking forward to his next stay! Highly recommend! 🤍”

“Our dog stayed with Kaycee and her family for 10 days, and we had a wonderful experience. She sent me photos every day, and they took him for walks even though they have a fenced backyard. The kids in the family gave Swift lots of attention, and he played with their family dog. Very sweet family — I highly recommend them for dog boarding.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - McFarland
Megan, Nick and their 3 daughters were wonderful. My dog Pippa stayed with them for almost 2 weeks, she just became a part of the family. Megan stayed in touch with me during my vacation so that I could see how Pippa was doing. I was so pleased to find them and will be using them again! I highly recommend them.

Ashley and her husband were an answer to prayer. I had to have a major surgery and my stay was extended due to complications. They were so gracious and kind and kept Max for an extra days. I’m so grateful that they were able to manage their schedule to accommodate us. As far as care goes, I got Max back in great physical, emotional and mental condition. He was his happy self. They have a very sweet doodle who was a good friend to our max. Their yard is a dog paradise. So grateful to have found them! Already booked them for my sons wedding.

Erin was a wonderful, empathetic dogsitter! She watched our girl, Zuki, for six days, and she texted us updates and a few photos until we felt reassured that Zuki was adjusting to a new environment well. Our dog is a rescue, and she has some strange behaviors such as being reluctant to drink water in the house (maybe because an alpha dog “claimed” the water dish at the rescue). Erin made sure that Zuki ate enough, drank, and she took her plenty of walks. What’s more, she cuddled Zuki to make her feel more at ease. Erin even ended up sleeping on the couch near Zuki to keep her company. I could tell that Erin was monitoring Zuki’s behavior bc she knew that Zuki has “fears,” and I was glad that Zuki had the opportunity to meet Erin with us present (so that our dog would be more comfortable and know that Erin was a friend). Thank you, Erin, for taking care of our fur baby!

Looked through many Rover sitter profiles. Found Rachel H. & she was just what I wanted. Other dogs and a fenced yard. My dog had fun with the other dogs & probably forgot all about me! lShe was farther away but it was worth the drive. I would recommend her to others.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
