“My 4 legged member of the family had the blessing of spending the weekend with Stephanie. She kept me updated on his stay with videos and pictures. He went for walks and played in their backyard.”

“Such a treat to have Duane & Lauren take care of my pup, Rapha while I was away. They are very responsive and attentive to the needs of both owner and doggie. Thank you!”

“Leaving our velcro dog behind is always hard, being left by her emotional support humans is harder. But Holly and Ana were so good with her, she got all the snuggles and was treated like one of their own. They gave lots of updates that let me know she was adjusting well.”

“We just completed our dogs 3rd stay at Sarah and Zach's house and we already have stay #4 booked. Our always have so much fun and get lots of outdoor playtime. We love the photo and video updates and especially enjoy knowing they are being so well cared for while we are away.”

“Sofi took wonderful care of our Poppy! Poppy was very nervous at the beginning of her stay but Sofi seemed to gently help her warm to her new surroundings! We appreciate that very much! We also appreciated her frequent photo updates! We recommend Sofi to others! Thank you again!”

“Jesse was a great sitter for our 70 lb pup! She had a great time with him and Lola at the nearby dog park and we were kept up-to-date on how she was doing with pictures and messages.”
“Yoki and Derek were amazing!! My pup Millie stayed with them for this past weekend…..we received so many pictures and knew she was having fun every second she was there! Highly recommend!!”

“As always, Cleda does an excellent job with our dog Georgie. We get cute updates with photos every day or two, and she is always super responsive if we have questions. Will continue to board with her as long as she is taking customers!”
“Amanda and her family are like a second family to our Rosie! Amanda is flexible, easy to communicate with and provides a great place for our pup when we’re out of town.”

“Beatrice was so kind to help me out last minute with caring for my pup. He was very happy to see her, and seemed very relaxed when I picked him up. I am so grateful to have her to help so I can feel at ease when I travel.”

“Katherine was fantastic!! Drop off was super quick and easy, and I got a bunch of great pictures throughout the day of my kitty enjoying her stay. I’d recommend to anyone who’s in need of boarding!”

“Wonderful care! Very glad we found Val and his wife for our mini schnauzer during a getaway. Val sent regular photo updates. He wad flexible with arrangements. They are quite experienced with dogs and have a relatively quiet, stable home which I think is a great environment for pets. Our dog came home rested, well fed and "regular", which was a first for us! Val will be at the top of our list when we need pet boarding next time.”

“Rachel and Eric were amazing with our crazy puppy. Cleo was a hot mess, but they were so patient, communicative and understanding. They really went above and beyond to make her as comfortable as possible (Eric even slept with her in the living room her first night because she wouldn’t stop crying.) They gave her a ton of exercise, sent lots of updates, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“Kara was amazing with our puppy, Marty! We had a last minute change shortly before our trip and needed to find someone to care for our puppy. Kara was able to care for Marty and he did great in her home! She handled his puppy related behaviors without issue. Kara communicated with us throughout the week and sent us regular updates. We will gladly send Marty to stay with Kara again in the future!”

“Erin was a wonderful, empathetic dogsitter! She watched our girl, Zuki, for six days, and she texted us updates and a few photos until we felt reassured that Zuki was adjusting to a new environment well. Our dog is a rescue, and she has some strange behaviors such as being reluctant to drink water in the house (maybe because an alpha dog “claimed” the water dish at the rescue). Erin made sure that Zuki ate enough, drank, and she took her plenty of walks. What’s more, she cuddled Zuki to make her feel more at ease. Erin even ended up sleeping on the couch near Zuki to keep her company. I could tell that Erin was monitoring Zuki’s behavior bc she knew that Zuki has “fears,” and I was glad that Zuki had the opportunity to meet Erin with us present (so that our dog would be more comfortable and know that Erin was a friend). Thank you, Erin, for taking care of our fur baby!”

Leaving our velcro dog behind is always hard, being left by her emotional support humans is harder. But Holly and Ana were so good with her, she got all the snuggles and was treated like one of their own. They gave lots of updates that let me know she was adjusting well.

Alicia was great with Ginger! Since Ginger is a senior dog, I wanted her to stay in a caring home rather than a kennel. Alicia kept me updated and sent lots of pictures, and I could tell my girl was happy and comfortable. I really appreciated the great care she gave her and would definitely book again.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
