About: I grew up in a household with a minimum of us having 3 dogs at a time, ranging from 4 lb to 150 lb (shorkie/ irish wolfhound)! I'm a travel nurse in the area, and can't travel with pets, looking to spend some of my free time loving on animals. Along with having dogs growing up, we typically always had a cat or 2 to snuggle up with! I currently work 3 12 hours shifts in a week at the hospital. I do mostly night shift, however some day shifts. I typically have 4 days a week that I can spend watching your furry loved one! “Shatoria was absolutely awesome! She stopped in to check on my cat Olivine while my roommate and I were away for the weekend. During our initial visit, Shatoria asked a ton of questions about Olivine and her routine, some that I hadn’t even thought to bring up, which was great. During the actual visit, she passed along lots of photos of Olivine with her update. She also took a photo of her automatic feeder so I could see how Olivine had been eating, which I appreciated. About: I’m a dog parent to two Pomskys and love all furry friends! I grew up on a farm and have had dogs my entire life. I’ve worked with high energy breeds such as huskies and hunting dogs. I am an educator and have summers off so I’m available during June and July throughout the week. I’m available nights/weekends during the school year. Haley went above and beyond what I expected for my visits! I reached out 2 days before and booked the day before, but she responded quickly and was willing to take my cats on sight-unseen. The cats took to her quicker than they have previous sitters, and she provided clear updates. She even replenished some treats that ran out and did some additional sweeping around my apartment on the last day, which made things that much easier for me when I returned!
This is our second time booking with Vanessa and we are 100% sure there will be more in the future. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
