About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life as well! Between family dogs, coworkers' dogs, and dogs I get to pet on the street, I love them all! One day I hope to have a golden retriever of my own! I have a rotating schedule so I’ll have time to feed, walk, and hangout with your dogs mid week or weekend depending on the week! About: Animals have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember—from growing up around my family’s German Shepherd breeding and training work, to years of rescuing and fostering both dogs and cats. I can provide continuous supervision, regular potty and play breaks, and plenty of outdoor exercise tailored to each dog's energy level and temperament. My home currently includes one calm, dog-friendly resident cat, making for a peaceful, low-stress environment where guest dogs receive focused care and affection. I have worked with senior dogs and cats as well as puppies and kittens. I am experienced with administering medications and experienced with disabled dogs. I work remotely and am home full-time with a flexible work schedule. I can provide 24/7 care for your dog or cat. I am also available for walks throughout the day and week. About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 16 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, a large Newfoundland, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.
