About: I have been taking care of neighborhood dogs as well as my own since I was 6. I have also been working in doggie daycares for 4+ years; I take a lot of pride in being able to build connections with the dogs I get to take care of! I am currently a full-time worker, but I can always make time for your pet! I tend to have a bit more availability in the mornings!☀️ I like to come and hang out with the dogs as well as taking walks when it's nice out. I am able to administer any medications needed, as I am trained/told. I am also willing to give any baths or extras as long as I get the instruction!
“Jen was great with our cats! She gave my diabetic cat his insulin shots and wrote great report cards after every visit. I appreciated her attentiveness to my older cat; I had peace of mind that he was left in reliable, caring hands while I was out of town.”

About: I've had a fun-filled house with dogs and cats since I was in elementary school. I've worked professionally with pets as well, such as pet dental hygienist assistant, pet store associate and birthday party tour guide, and Chewy supervisor. I'm currently looking for opportunities to help out with pets of all sizes, ages, and abilities. I'm able to provide care to your fur baby all day. I can also devote nights and weekends to them! I have three dogs who are friendly. One has anxiety, so she keeps to herself mostly, but loves to snuggle with other dogs. I keep all foods and small items off of the floor, away from curious snouts. I have a fenced area in the back yard.
About: I have experience with senior dogs and anticipate their extra needs. I lost my soul pup this year after almost 13 years together. She was 16. I was a helicopter dog mom who spoiled her pup and was obsessed with keeping my senior girl happy and healthy, paying attention to details like making the house anti slip and senior- friendly. I will bring that thoughtfulness to my walks. I love all dogs, big and small. I work in the health care industry and value good health and nutrition for dogs. I am the person who goes to a dinner party and ends up hanging out with the one dog that is there instead of socializing, if that helps :) I am really careful when entering a home, making sure no pup can sneak out. And I approach pups with a calm, stress free demeanor. Since I lost my soul dog this year I have been missing out on daily walks, and I’d love to help another dog parent by getting their pup some exercise or help in any way I can. I work full time , and I am home by 5:00pm. I am available weekdays after that time. I work some weekends but would be available a lot of the time on weekends. I have a senior pup with mitral valve disease who is losing her hearing a bit. We have non-slip grip mats all over the floors to prevent slipping, ergonomic dog beds in every room, low furniture and cushion pad steps for her to get up on her perch in the window. I brush her teeth daily and take her to vet frequently to give her the best care. I wash her bowl out daily with fresh filtered water. She is on medication and her heart disease has been stable for 5 years and she’s still happy and gets the zoomies! She sleeps in bed with us and I give her doggy massages and cuddles daily. My family knows I’m obsessed with my girl. I do not have children and my partner works from home so he is with her for potty breaks during the day.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Sun Prairie
Jorja took great care of my chinchilla, Theodore while I was out of town. She followed my instructions well, and even though she stated she didn't have previous chinchilla experience, her general animal handling knowledge was more than enough to get the job done. What's more, from the picture updates she sent, Theo seemed really friendly and comfortable with Jorja, and he's not usually so quick to warm up to strangers. I think that's the best review I can give: my skittish chinchilla felt safe with Jorja from the first visit. Would definitely recommend / hire again!

This is the third time we have used Krista and couldn’t be happier! We inherited my mother in law’s dogs after she passed, and they really didn’t fit with our lifestyle as we love to travel and work a lot. Krista has made it so easy for us to travel and not worry as we have one older pit mix. So grateful we found her!

Shatoria was absolutely awesome! She stopped in to check on my cat Olivine while my roommate and I were away for the weekend. During our initial visit, Shatoria asked a ton of questions about Olivine and her routine, some that I hadn’t even thought to bring up, which was great. During the actual visit, she passed along lots of photos of Olivine with her update. She also took a photo of her automatic feeder so I could see how Olivine had been eating, which I appreciated. I had never hired a pet sitter before, so that came with some anxiety, but Shatoria made me confident that I was leaving Olivine in great hands! I definitely know who to come to if we ever need any more help with Olivine in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about Hailey. She is consistently reliable, incredibly kind, and genuinely invested in the well being of my two dogs. They absolutely love her! She’s great with communication, pays attention to the little details, and always makes sure the girls get the care, exercise and affection they need. It’s such a relief to have someone you can trust completely- Hailey is that person. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!
Cassie has been wonderful with our cats! Even though our shy kitties don’t always come out to say hello, we know they’re well cared for when she stops in. She’s reliable, communicates well, and gives us peace of mind while we’re away. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
