I received a check-in and check-out notification for each visit, plus a brief rundown of everything done and 5-6 pictures of my babies that were master quality (in my opinion). Maya set up my new pet fountain that I had ordered in hopes it would arrive before my departure but ended up delayed, and was smart enough to leave the water bowl I had been using in case they didn't take to it right away. She also notified me that food was getting low and let me know if I had a bit of wiggle room or not when I got home. I definitely plan to use Maya's services again.”

“I have known Karen now for over 4 years that is when I moved in as her neighbor. I must say she has been a warm and welcoming to the neighbor hood as I could ask for. Karen and her daughter started taking care of my kitty when I was away for long periods or short periods. She has kitties of her own so she knows how important it is to to give a kitty loving care while I am gone. Now I have fish also so I have asked if she could come twice a day and she is here every day to take care of kitty and fish. I am a very lucky lady to have Karen as my neighbor.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and am commonly dubbed “the animal whisperer” amongst friends and family. I grew up with a zoo of animals- dogs, a cat, a lizard, guinea pigs, birds, many, MANY fish, and even a spider! I worked at a doggie daycare for 1.5 years and an animal shelter (that had dogs, cats, and even rats!) for 1.5 years as well. In that time I’ve developed skills in feeding, walking, caring for, playing with, first aid, grooming, and even measuring and administering medication to furry friends of all shapes and sizes. In my time working with animals I’ve met some of the friendliest fur balls, ones with special needs (blind, deaf, missing legs, you name it), and even the more grumpy guys. I’m currently a college student as well as an athlete. My schedule tends to vary from week to week but always have the time to work in some much needed dog and cat time before, between, and after classes (and free weekends!) I live by the saying where you should leave places nicer than they were when you arrived. If your fur babies have any accidents they will be picked up ASAP! I only touch what I am told to and only go in rooms I am instructed to go into.

“Donald did such a good job checking in on our kitty while we were on vacation for a week. He was so good with Piper and I could tell right away how comfortable he is with animals when they got to meet prior to us leaving. Piper seemed to enjoy his company based on all the photos and rover cards, which were always very informative and made us feel at ease while we were away. He is also very good at communication, responsive, flexible, and easy to work with! We will definitely be reaching out to Donald again for either our dog or cat!”

I have two years of experience working at a doggy daycare and training facility. I have two cats at the moment; Chester and Roxanne. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but it’s sadly not the right time for me. I love having the opportunity through Rover.
