About: Designated dog carer for family, so I figured I would expand the circle. I love going for walks and love taking a pup with me. I am working a full-time job. Mondays and Fridays, I am available from 6 am to 9:30 am. On Tuesdays through Thursdays, I am available anytime after 5:45 pm. Usually available anytime on the weekends for pet care and walking. My full-time job requires me to have respect and care for people's private information, so you can count on me to show the same respect and care for in-house sitting.
“Renee was do kind and attentive to our two kitties. They enjoyed her visits and she went above and beyond to make them comfortable and happy. Highly recommend Renee to anyone that is in need of pet sitting!”

“Hannah was great! She agreed to do 2 meet and greets since we were moving and came in to feed our kitten (16 year old prissy cat) and got her to take all her meds, no problem! Thank you, Hannah!”

“This is the third time we have used Krista and couldn’t be happier! We inherited my mother in law’s dogs after she passed, and they really didn’t fit with our lifestyle as we love to travel and work a lot. Krista has made it so easy for us to travel and not worry as we have one older pit mix. So grateful we found her!”

“Jackie and her family took wonderful care of our dog. Jackie was very accommodating to my care request and was communicative the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Jackie and her family!”

“Darby did a great job with our cats! She was confident and asked great questions at our meet and greet. Our boys felt comfortable and she was able to pill our tricky cat. Darby has great attention to detail and really cares about the boys and building a positive relationship with them. It is clear that she really cares about her work and care for the animals. We are so fortunate to have found Darby! Thank you Darby!”

“Chelsea has been wonderful at checking in on our cat, Blue! We can always tell Blue was well taken care of when we get home. Chelsea is kind, reliable, and sends thoughtful descriptions of her visits with plenty of photos :) We definitely recommend her!!”

“Katelyn has a kind and calm demeanor which helps settle the nerves in one of my anxious pups. She makes sure my two dogs are safe and comfortable during her drop in visits. I plan on continuing our drop in visits! Thank you!”

“Adrianna is AWESOME! She took superb care of our floofs, and sent us lots of fun photos. We felt like our pets were in great hands under her care. She went the extra mile to give them enrichment and affection as well as tidy up pet messes in the house (we have a very old kitty who doesn't always make it to the litter box, and she very kindly cleaned up after him). We highly recommend her!”

“Kathryn was amazing! Kept gus busy, happy, and enriched. Provided great updates and the best photos ever!!!!! Reliable and great communication :) 10/10 recommend”

“Sydney was great with our kitties! She was very communicative about when she was visiting and what happened during the drop in visit. She took great photos, as well!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Burke
I had a great experience with Carley! She relieved so much of my stress knowing my cat needed medication and is also a professional-level hider. 😂 She did amazing check-ins, kept me updated, and I truly didn’t have a single worry during my trip. Thank you so much, Carley! The only thing to note was that one evening her schedule changed and she needed to come earlier than the timing we originally discussed. It wasn’t a big issue, but it was a little different than expected. Overall, she took wonderful care of my cat, and I really appreciated her help!

Darby is such a caring and thoughtful sitter! She gets better pictures of our cats than we do, and she is amazing at writing recaps of her visits. It gives us such peace of mind to know she’s taking care of our pets, and she really treats them like her own.

We had a one-time drop-in visit for our cat Noodle, and it was a great experience. Communication was prompt and clear, and they were right on time. Even though it was just one stop, they made sure Noodle was well taken care of and comfortable. We really appreciated the update and photos — it gave us peace of mind knowing Noodle was in good hands. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and take their responsibility seriously. Reliable, kind, and professional. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend
As my first experience using Rover, I am very thankful to have found Cassandra!! We hired her for drop in visits, and she left us with daily reports and many happy kitty pictures. :)) I could tell our cat was enjoying her company very much. We’re so grateful to her for watching him on short notice over the holiday, and for her professionalism. She is a great communicator, and very responsive in her messages. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our little guy. :)) Thank you!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Burke. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
