About: As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your fur babies. I currently have my sweet girl Nova at home and am comfortable with pets of different temperaments and needs. I strive to create a safe, stress free experience while keeping owners updated with lots of photos and messages. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, medication, or just a consistent routine, I’ll make sure they receive attentive care. I’m currently a SAHM with a very flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable care and accommodate a variety of pet care needs throughout the day. Your pets are treated like family! I have 1 cat in my home currently that is okay with dogs that visit. I maintain a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment and carefully supervise interactions at all times.
“Lindsey did a fantastic job watching our 2 kitties! She took great care of them, brought in packages, and cleaned up a mess one of our cats made. We appreciated her daily visits over the holidays, while we traveled to visit family! We highly recommend Lindsey and will definitely use her services again!”

“Chelsea was one of the best cat sitters I’ve ever had! She shared a lot of information every day and took the cutest pictures of my kitty. It was clear that he really liked her, and when I got home everything was perfect! I would definitely book with her again!”

“Jen is the best. She was so good with both of our dogs and were very comfortable with the arrangement. We got great photos and detailed updates which was very appreciated! We hope we can work together in the future with Honeybea and Rosie!”

“Tonisha took great care of our kitties while we were on vacation! We really appreciated the photos and videos she sent every day. We would love to have her sit for us again in the future!”

“This was my (and my girls’!) first time using the Rover app and Heather was outstanding! She was flexible and was able to accommodate my crazy schedule with time to meet my girls and see if their personalities were a good match. (Side note: they totally were.) I loved the details and the report card she left for me about the goings on of their adventures together. Thank you, Heather, for making my girls’ first experience amazing! 🩷”

About: Designated dog carer for family, so I figured I would expand the circle. I love going for walks and love taking a pup with me. I am working a full-time job. Mondays and Fridays, I am available from 6 am to 9:30 am. On Tuesdays through Thursdays, I am available anytime after 5:45 pm. Usually available anytime on the weekends for pet care and walking. My full-time job requires me to have respect and care for people's private information, so you can count on me to show the same respect and care for in-house sitting.

“This is the third time we have used Krista and couldn’t be happier! We inherited my mother in law’s dogs after she passed, and they really didn’t fit with our lifestyle as we love to travel and work a lot. Krista has made it so easy for us to travel and not worry as we have one older pit mix. So grateful we found her!”

“Hailey was amazing with my two cats! From the photos she shared, I could tell that they were completely happy and comfortable with her. She sent detailed reports and lots of photos, which gave me peace of mind that the kitties were doing well while I was away. Thank you, Hailey!”

“Taylor did an amazing job with my cat Winry and I can't recommend booking with her enough. She gave daily updates and photos and stayed positive and patient when my cat was feeling shy. Plus she went above and beyond in many ways including cutting Winry's nails, even giving some advice on what strategies she used. As a rookie cat owner this was super helpful and helped me better care for my cat. Taylor is the best!”

“Toni went above and beyond! Not only did she take superior care of our little cavapoo, Bailey, she brought our garbage cans in from the curb and offered to check in on Bailey one more time if we were running late. Excellent care and service!!”

“Jackie and her family took wonderful care of our dog. Jackie was very accommodating to my care request and was communicative the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Jackie and her family!”

“Taryn was kind and very patient with my older, unsure little dog. Everyday Taryn took her time to get to know him. She was friendly and gentle allowing him to get used to her visits.”

“Emily and her family are by far the BEST sitters I have ever had! They are so sweet, communicative, flexible, and knowledgeable. I hope to use them every time I need extra help with my buddy.”

“Shatoria took such great care of our three gals while we were away, providing lots of photos from each visit and making sure they were all given plenty of attention. You know your pets will be in good hands if you book with her. :)”
“Katelyn has a kind and calm demeanor which helps settle the nerves in one of my anxious pups. She makes sure my two dogs are safe and comfortable during her drop in visits. I plan on continuing our drop in visits! Thank you!”

“Michel helped me take care of my cat when I was indisposed and I am so grateful. I would have had a really hard time with the litter box without her coming in to take care of that. Very friendly and experienced. Highly recommend.”

Heather is absolutely amazing! She was so through during our meet and greet. She was fantastic with our fur babies, gave amazing updates while we were away. We got so many photos of them. She really helped to put our anxiety at easy of leaving our senior cats for a week. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone, she is a fantastic pet sitter.

Awnna took great care of our cats! She administered meds to one of our cats that required 2 visits per day. She fed and played with them and made sure water bowls were filled and litter boxes scooped. Awnna did a wonderful job and we would definitely have her take care of our kitties again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lake Windsor. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
