I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I connect with each animal and get to know what is normal behavior and what isn't so I can quickly identify if anything seems off. You can rest easy knowing you'll be immediately informed if anything seems concerning. And, I'll also provide updates with each visit, including pictures. I am an excellent communicator and very detail-oriented. I ask lots of questions during meet-and-greets to ensure there is no disruption in your pet's usual care and routine.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I approach animals I'm just getting to know on their terms so they can feel safe and secure. I pay close attention to their body language and wait for them to approach me while we are first getting acquainted. I am always sure to leave things in your home exactly how you want them, including cleaning up after myself or any pet messes I find.

This was my (and my girls’!) first time using the Rover app and Heather was outstanding! She was flexible and was able to accommodate my crazy schedule with time to meet my girls and see if their personalities were a good match. (Side note: they totally were.) I loved the details and the report card she left for me about the goings on of their adventures together. Thank you, Heather, for making my girls’ first experience amazing! 🩷
Heather was great! I have two cats, one on meds. Heather took great care of them and kept me well informed with comprehensive daily reports and photos. We are all looking forward to booking her again!!
Heather did an amazing job. Normally when we return from a trip it takes a day for our fur babies to 'accept' that we are back and 'forgive' us our trespasses. Not this time! They were like 'Oh, you're back. Cool. Where's Heather? Can I get a scratch?" She takes the time to play with them and earnestly cares about them. Her reports are thorough and emotive. Heather is so amazing and wonderful with our kitties. She seriously goes above and beyond every time she watches them and they truly love her also, My shy Mochi never comes out for strangers but when Heather stops by she is all about getting some love from her. When we are out of town I feel so at ease knowing that Heather is taking great care of them.
Heather is amazing she makes my mind so at ease when we are away. She went above and beyond watching our kitties. There was a bad storm and she went back after her check in to make sure they were doing ok.❤️

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible work schedule, so I can make frequent visits almost any day of the week. If your pet has health concerns (meds, needs to be fed at specific times, etc) or needs a specific schedule, I can accommodate for that the vast majority of the time. I will always communicate any schedule conflicts before finalizing a booking.
