I've always had pet dogs and cats since childhood. At this time my husband and I are unable to have a pet of our own, but I frequently house sit and watch pets for friends and family. I work as a school counselor, so I have more availability during the summer than during the school year. I am energetic and enjoy playing with excited animal friends, and I also hold firm boundaries and can support your training.

I am very energetic and happy to go for long walks or play with dogs to tire them out! I am also clean and detail-oriented so I will take good care of your home if you are away. During the school year I work as a school counselor so I value service to others, honesty, integrity, and sharing joy and kindness.

Krista did a great job dog/house sitting for me while I was out of town. Super responsive and sent daily pictures. Even did a few extra things for me that came up unexpectedly. My dog was happy and her normal self when we returned. Would 100% book with her again!
This is the third time we have used Krista and couldn’t be happier! We inherited my mother in law’s dogs after she passed, and they really didn’t fit with our lifestyle as we love to travel and work a lot. Krista has made it so easy for us to travel and not worry as we have one older pit mix. So grateful we found her!
Krista did such a great job watching our cats and keeping us updated during a longer trip away from home. Our cats seemed to really like her based on photos we were sent and daily updates!

Schedule
Now that the school year is quickly approaching/here, I have less availability during the day on weekdays. I can do one morning walk at about 6:30am or after school most days from about 4:30 into the evening. I’m available to house sit if your pet is okay on their own for about 9 hours. I can do anytime most weekends and keep my calendar up to date.

- I’ll want to know how rigid or flexible your schedule is, whether your animal requires any medication, if they are reactive while on leash, etc. I’m pretty flexible and open to whatever care your animal needs, I just like to know ahead of time.
