About: I’ve cared for pets since I was a child, got our first dogs going into high school, and have since cared for multiple different owners pets in addition to my experience growing up. I’m currently taking classes full-time, so daily walks are ideal to get myself moving and keep your pups healthy as well! I also am open to overnights & longer stays, as my class schedule isn’t too heavy for in person lectures, which is ideal to not be gone too long when taking care of pets for multiple days. About: I’m experienced with both cats and dogs, house sitting and plant sitting if needed. I have a senior cat myself and two other younger cats but I also grew up around dogs and love to dog sit and take dogs on walks when the weather permits. My schedule is usually very flexible. I’m a full time student and I’m working part time from home in the Miami area. As long as I have a solid Wi-Fi or data connection for a hotspot I’m good to go. If there isn’t already explicit instructions my usual schedule would be to walk the dogs every 2-4 hours (puppies more than that till their potty trained) and feed the animals as instructed. Cats and dogs both need their daily playtime as well. I’m willing to spend the night if you’d prefer or just come and spend the workday with them 12+ hours a day.
About: I've had a fun-filled house with dogs and cats since I was in elementary school. I've worked professionally with pets as well, such as pet dental hygienist assistant, pet store associate and birthday party tour guide, and Chewy supervisor. I have three dogs who are friendly. One has anxiety, so she keeps to herself mostly, but loves to snuggle with other dogs. I keep all foods and small items off of the floor, away from curious snouts. “Kara was fantastic. She cared for our four year old cat, Molasses, for a week while we were away. During that time she was always easy to get ahold of and would respond quickly to any questions. She also sent us multiple pictures after each visit. Kara took the time to get to know our cat. During her first visits, she would wait for our cat to approach her, allowing Molasses to become comfortable around her. By the end of the week Molasses was asking for pets, rambunctiously playing, and talking to Kara like she was a member of the family. I can’t recommend Kara enough. Emily checked in on all times that were discussed, and walked Captain on the check-ins. I enjoyed all photos of Captain with his bones, on his walks, or just hanging out. The accessibility that Emily had with my apartment was great with Captain being at home and feeling like he was home and loved. I appreciated that we could contact if we were running late or coming back early from vacation, so that we could time everything out. Overall, Captain enjoyed his time a lot with Emily, and I appreciated all check-ins and photos.
Angela was fantastic. I felt very confident leaving my two timid rescue dogs at home for a weeklong trip with Angela coming in to feed and play with them. She was very diligent about the instructions and understanding exactly what I wanted. She was outstanding about writing me a note every day and sending me pictures of the dogs and anything of concern or positive. My dogs were much more relaxed in the photos than I've ever seen them when I've gone away for a whole week! Angela is very caring about animals and I highly recommend her.
This is the third time we have used Krista and couldn’t be happier! We inherited my mother in law’s dogs after she passed, and they really didn’t fit with our lifestyle as we love to travel and work a lot. Krista has made it so easy for us to travel and not worry as we have one older pit mix. So grateful we found her!
