About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for the past 8 years and have been walking dogs even longer. I currently pet sit and walk dogs (and cats!) for several families in my area. I’m responsible, flexible, and love animals of every breed and size. I’m in school and also work part time. Flexible schedule, please reach out for current availability. Im happy to find a time that works best! I’m attentive, reliable, and always put safety first. I follow pet parents’ instructions closely and make sure every walk or visit is calm, safe, and stress-free.
About: I've been caring for animals for years, both through personal experience and by helping family members. I currently have a cat of my own and previously cared for my family's beloved dog throughout his entire 14-year life, giving me experience with every stage from playful puppyhood to senior care. I'm also the only sitter my sister trusts to care for her three dogs, so I'm comfortable managing multiple pets at once while making sure each one gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need. I treat every pet as if they were my own and I'm always willing to learn more about a pet's individual needs and temperaments. I think being with pets allows me to be more active, especially when I'm in the coursework mindset. Sometimes my day has a lull in it, but having a pet means that there is a part of my routine that must stay somewhat similar and active. I never mix boarding bookings from different families. I exclusively host one household's pet(s) at a time, ensuring a calmer, safer, and more personalized experience. If your family has multiple dogs or cats, they're always welcome to stay together! Every pet is different, so I adjust my care to match their personality, making sure to keep an eye on their behavior, respect their boundaries, and provide safe, engaging play when they want it.

“We appreciated having Nikki check in on Tigger while we were out of town. He is a shy cat, but she was able to get him to warm up and be comfortable around her. The pictures she sent gave us comfort that he was in good hands. We would definitely consider booking her again!”

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve learned to love & take care of animals. I am very flexible & eager to help in any way. Allow me to pamper your pets when you don’t have the time! I’m a college student currently between jobs & looking for a fun & helpful way to spend my time. I am available & happy to help whenever you need me! I am observant & patient, so your pets will have my full attention. Between cuddles, play, feeding & walks, your pet will be completely cared for.
“Allison was a last minute booking through the Rover App due to a last minute cancellation by a neighbor of mine to take care of my pet Chihuahua Mazy. She was so prompt in contacting me and so prompt to meet and greet with Mazy and me. I felt like Allison was an angel at this time of need! I had no worries with her care of Mazy. Fun to see Mazy in photos and videos looking so happy! I would have Allison back again taking care of Mazy - who wouldn’t want an angel taking care of your pet! Rover is lucky to have Allison!”

“Ann took wonderfull care of our Pilo while we where out of the city for a week with amazing communication. Pilo usually has a hard time adjusting to strangers but he immediatly got along with her.”

“Stacey is the best cat sitter I've ever used! I had to leave the country for a month, and she took excellent care of my cat. I received several pictures daily and detailed updates, which reassured me he was in good hands. Even during a building fire alarm, she visited him to ensure his safety.”

About: I have taken care of neighbors pets since I was 10 and have always lived with Golden Retrievers. Currently, my family has two 75lb English cream retrievers (3 & 6) who I try to walk everyday when I’m home. I love pets of all sizes and energy levels! I work part time this summer researching at UW. My schedule is very flexible and I have a car to travel with. Reach out to me whenever! I can almost certainly make any time work. I can feed your pets, give medicine, let them out/clean litter, walk them and play with them! Anything needed to keep your pets happy and healthy!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life which convinced me to get my own dog a little over two years ago! I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and adventures around town. My dog is black and has thick fur so it definitely depends on the weather where we end up going on a walk (whether there is water or a shaded area). I also enjoy taking dogs to the dog park if they enjoy other pups. I can watch small dogs and big dogs (who might pull the leash a little harder). I am a teacher currently so I have the summer to have a chill job that’s flexible for my needs and other peoples needs as well. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. If you have a schedule where you need to let your dog out every other hour I can help out. I can also do something more chill where they just need to be fed early morning or late at night. Taking trips and being busy is part of life so I will help ease your stress about your little fur babies schedule.

About: I love dogs! I grew up with dogs, as well as have a wide range of experience with caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with disabilities. My apartment at this moment does not allow for dogs, so I really am looking for some dogs to give some tender loving care to in the meantime! I am a teacher, so I am free afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends! I am a teacher- so afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends work for me! During the summer, I have a lot more flexibility as well. I am currently offering drop-in visits, as well as dog walking! I am looking for dogs to love on, as I can not have my own in my current apartment.
“Courtney has cared for my very moody kitty with high medical needs twice now, and has taken such good care of him! Courtney is so patient, and has excellent skills working with animals directly complimenting their individual needs!”

“Sarah is the best! Thorough and kind, she always makes sure your pet(s) get their basic needs met, and even some pets and loving along the way. We've booked with her multiple times and has our trust :)”

About: I grew up around animals and have 2 spoiled, adorable cats myself. I also have experience pet sitting for friends and family as well as dog walking. I work full time, but have flexible lunch breaks, evenings, and weekends. I am very active, so I would love to take your dogs for a walk, hike, or run. I am also free to stay occasional overnights if needed. Since my cats' security is my priority, I will not be able to host your pets in my home. However, I would love to spend time with them in their own space and can keep them company for evenings, weekends, and overnights.
About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 16 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, a large Newfoundland, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.
About: Caring for dogs isn't just something I do. It's something I'm genuinely passionate about. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, from young puppies learning routines to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know each pet's unique needs. I'm comfortable with feeding schedules, administering oral medications, crate training, basic puppy training, leash walking, playtime, and providing plenty of love and attention. I'm also attentive to changes in behavior or health and believe it's important to catch anything unusual early and communicate it with owners right away. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I make it my priority to provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where they feel comfortable. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. Communication is very important to me. I'll provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is to care for every pet as if they were my own and give owners complete peace of mind. Pet care is already a major part of my daily routine. My day is structured around caring for dogs, so adding walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or boarding fits naturally into my schedule. Because I'm already following consistent routines for feeding, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and cleaning, I'm able to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve rather than leaving them alone for long periods. Whether your pet needs a consistent routine, extra exercise, medication, or simply companionship, I'm committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I make sure every pet is in a clean, secure, and calm environment where they can feel relaxed and stress-free. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I pay close attention to behavior and overall well-being so I can quickly notice if something seems off and communicate right away. In my care, pets are never left unattended for long periods. I supervise interactions, provide structured playtime, and ensure a safe environment at all times—especially when introducing pets to new surroundings or other animals. I also respect the client’s home fully when providing in-home care, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. I understand how important trust is when someone allows you to care for their pet or enter their home, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable, while giving owners complete peace of mind through clear communication and reliable care.
“Heather is a blessing to my dog family! One of the most compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable humans I’ve had the pleasure of coming across in a long time. She respects each of my four dogs in their own way, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch over them while I’m away. Thank you Heather, you have no idea how stressful and unbearable it was without meeting you. I appreciate everything you do!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Oregon with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
