“Emma did a great job! This was my first experience with Rover. I have no questions about having her come check on my little Oz man! Thank you so much Emma!”

“Nikki was flexible and prompt to meet with us prior to our time away and she provided daily updates with pictures of the kitties. They were well cared for! Thanks Nikki.”

“Jennifer is a fantastic pet sitter! She made sure my cats were taken care of and was so good at keeping me updated with every visit. It made being away from home so much easier!”

About: I am Robert and I love caring for animals. I am reliable, patient, and caring. I love to walk dogs and I’ve taken care of my family’s dogs for 16 years. I entertain them with plenty of long walks, games of fetch and many toys and treats. I’m here to take care of your dog with the same love and care! I work full-time Monday-Friday, but I am available 5 am - 8 am and 4 pm - 10 pm during the week for any dog walking or visits. I may also be periodically available at other times during the weekdays. I am free on weekends for dog walking or drop-in visits, as well 😊 Your dog’s safety is the number one priority. I will always make sure it’s safe for them before a visit or walk. I’m open to any care options at your home for your pet. Your preference for your pet’s care and safety is of upmost importance to me.
“Ann did a great job checking in on my three cats over the holidays. I so appreciate knowing they are looked in on and given a little attention while we are out of town. Thanks, Ann!”

“This was my first booking through Rover, and my first time using a dog walker, and I can't imagine a better experience. Justin was incredible and went above and beyond during the six days he took care of our dogs. I was a bit nervous about having someone I didn't know in our house while we were gone. He came for a meet and greet shortly after I requested the booking and I knew he was going to be great when our barker did not bark at him. He sent me updates each day and even came out again one evening when my husband wasn't going to get home in time. Overall, Justin was a lifesaver. 11/10, would recommend. We will definitely use him again.”

“Elizabeth was a life saver! She did such an amazing job with our dog who can be a bit of a handful! Very professional and cared for Stella like she was her own, I was really nervous leaving her with someone new for the first time and Elizabeth put our minds at ease. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Alissa was wonderful as always! I’ve booked with Alissa a few times now, and she goes above and beyond with all the pictures she sends and very detailed updates after each visit. She’s helped clean up after accidents and keep my cats from getting into any mischief.”

“Isabel is extremely reliable and patient with our new puppy. She comes over when she says she’ll come, and she takes lots of pictures and notes during her visit, which we really appreciate. She plays with our dog inside and outside and makes sure he gets some good attention while we’re away at work. Would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love them! My dog Mickey is totally spoiled, and yours will be too. One thing to know upfront: I work 8–5 Monday through Friday, so your dog would be home alone during those hours on weekdays. If that works for you, Mickey would love the company! Evenings and weekends I’m completely free and will give your pup all the attention they deserve. I work full time, but I spend my weekday mornings and evenings taking my dog to the park and playing. Weekends are always open and I would spend the whole time giving your pet all the attention!! I have a spacious apartment and make outside time a daily priority! Mickey and I are regulars at a nearby Dane County park — your dog is more than welcome to join our evening routine for some space to run and explore. If parks aren’t really their thing, I have a large outdoor area right by my apartment where they can get fresh air away from other dogs.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 16. Right now, I am currently raising my 3rd fur baby. I have experience crate training and caring for puppies. My dog, is a sweet girl and gets along well with other dogs. She is 1 years old and is a playful companion. While your dog is with me, they are my priority. They will be well cared for and I will make sure to keep you updated, so you can have peace of mind while your pup is in my care. I currently work full-time at a clinic that is 5 minutes away from my apartment. I am looking to help out mostly on weekends or in the evening during week days. I’m a single mom of an amazing 6 year old. She spends most of the summer with her dad. I would love to fill my time caring for furry friends. I have an apartment and take my own dogs for walks 2-3 times a day. We try to make it to the dog park as much as possible. While, I’m not home dogs do need to be crated. But, I make every effort to be present as much as possible to minimize crate use.

“Sarah is great with Clasby, and is always willing to spend a little extra time with him. She is also very receptive to extraneous favors that I ask of her, and never complains or has a poor attitude. She is our favorite walker/sitter!”

“Heather is a blessing to my dog family! One of the most compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable humans I’ve had the pleasure of coming across in a long time. She respects each of my four dogs in their own way, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch over them while I’m away. Thank you Heather, you have no idea how stressful and unbearable it was without meeting you. I appreciate everything you do!”

“Jackie is absolutely amazing. She loves our pup, is an equal partner in raising the puppy. She is always on time, always provides updates through the app with pictures. Very very reliable and always available when we need her. She genuinely cares for our puppy and would go to the extra mile to ensure the puppy gets the best care.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Oregon with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
