“Ann was a wonderful sitter for my cat! I needed someone on very short notice and I was so relieved when Ann responded to my request right away. I loved the daily updates and I appreciated that she respected the boundaries of my shy kitty. I will absolutely use her services again!”

“Iva and Eduardo are amazing! Danny had so much fun on their visit. They were very very communicative and share plenty of pics and updates. Danny is a bit rowdy and they had no issues handling him. I would highly recommend them to anyone. :)”

“Carlee has been wonderful with my pup, Henry. He can be hesitant to new people at first but he warmed right up to Carlee. Carlee is a great communicator, it’s such a relief knowing Hen is in good hands while I’m away at work. Thank you for being so caring!”

“Jess was sincere, flexible, and very accomodating to my variable travel plans and respective changes to our scheduling to watch my boy. I would recommend her as a trusting sitter and would be thankful to utilize her care and services in the future.”

“Kaylyn was a great help to us keeping our cats happy while we were away for two weeks! Our younger cat gets cranky when we leave and Kaylyn was able to accommodate her needs. When our kids got anxious for a picture of our other car, Kaylyn didn't hesitate to send a picture to ease their worries. Kaylyn is highly responsive and we'll definitely reach out to her the next time we have cat sitting needs. Thank you Kaylyn!!”

“It was a wonderful experience having Laura look after my cat Oliver again. She’s watched him before, so it was really nice knowing he was with someone familiar. She was kind, easy to work with, and very communicative while I was away, as always. I loved the thoughtful photos and messages she sent, and Oliver clearly loved her too!”

About: I work at a doggy daycare as both a dog attendant in the daycare setting and a receptionist. As a daycare attendant, I work with dogs big and small to tend to their needs while monitoring their behavior to ensure they are in a safe and healthy environment! As a receptionist, I work with clients when it comes to taking care of their questions about their dogs, I work with vaccination files, and I am certified to administer medication to the animals. I prepare meals, take care of dogs who do not go into daycare, do hourly cleaning, and work to ensure their is adequate communication between staff. I also have had dogs my entire life, including my family and I fostering and rehabilitating dogs that come from traumatic situations. I currently work 3 days a week, two week day evenings and one weekend day. I graduate high school in early June, so this summer I will be available very often to meet pet care needs. I am available to do overnights, days, and even just check ins for your pets! On nights that I work, I am available after 8-9pm(just depending on when I get off of work)! I work very hard to establish trust with, not only families, but pets as well! I work with dogs for my job, so it is important to me that I know warning signs and body language of an animal in order to best fit their needs. If I am in someone's home, I will respect the space given to me when trusted to properly care for someone's animal/s. I also respect the space of an animal, meaning that if they are making it clear that they do not want affection or for me to me in their space, I will respect that unless it is absolutely necessary for me to push that boundary (feeding, nail trims, etc.)

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs, which taught me the importance of routine, exercise, and lots of love. Now I’m a proud cat owner of two, so I also understand how to care for more independent (but equally lovable!) pets. Whether your pet loves to play or just needs a calm, reassuring presence, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel at home. I work full time at UW Madison during regular business hours between 7:30a and 4:30p. I have a flexible schedule where I work from home twice weekly and at work 3 days. I care for your pets and your home as if it were my own. I treat the pets with the upmost love and care, and respect your home and privacy. I play with the pets if they are interested, and leave them be if not interested. Pets have bodily autonomy and I respect that. I’ll clean up a mess if I find one, and I’d let you know immediately if there’s an issue.
“Jennifer was such an amazing sitter for my furry babies. She took her time to ask questions and understand well how to care for them. The updates and pictures always were on point and left me feeling that my babies were in very caring and capable hands. Next time I will look for someone to look after my babies I will go for Jennifer.”

About: I am a patient, caring sitter. I cared for and loved my dog Simon for over thirteen years, and two cats for about ten of those. Your pet would be well loved my me, my partner, and our kids. I have experience with a variety of senior pet issues and medications as well. I have a flexible schedule that allows for walks a various points on the day—morning and evening as well as in the afternoon. I am happy to figure out what works for you and your pet(s). I have a fenced yard and live close to multiple parks and dog parks. Pets are allowed on most furniture, and we have a nice supply of beds and blankets for cuddles.
“Anaya went above and beyond to engage with my finicky cat and entertain her while I was away! She made me feel so at ease and shared lots of wonderful photos with me.”

Verona dog parents share their Rover experiences
I just recently got a dog and I work night shift as a nurse. I’ve discovered that my doggy has pretty severe separation anxiety. She completely tore through her dog bed, ripped a hole in the carpet, and even started to bend the metal wires of my crate. I was able to watch my dog on my pet camera and knew she was struggling. Jess went ABOVE AND BEYOND with her care. She cleaned up the messes and even came over early one night when I knew my dog was freaking out. I truly couldn’t survive this week at work without Jess. Forever grateful and 100000% recommend.
