About: Animals have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs, which taught me the importance of routine, exercise, and lots of love. Now I’m a proud cat owner of two, so I also understand how to care for more independent (but equally lovable!) pets. Whether your pet loves to play or just needs a calm, reassuring presence, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel at home. I work full time at UW Madison during regular business hours between 7:30a and 4:30p. I have a flexible schedule where I work from home twice weekly and at work 3 days. I care for your pets and your home as if it were my own. I treat the pets with the upmost love and care, and respect your home and privacy. I play with the pets if they are interested, and leave them be if not interested. Pets have bodily autonomy and I respect that. I’ll clean up a mess if I find one, and I’d let you know immediately if there’s an issue.
“Iva and Eduardo watched my two kitties over the holidays and they went above and beyond with their care! They were able to pill my (occasionally naughty) kitty twice daily, kept me informed, gave them tons of love / play and sent me lots of pictures! Would highly recommend for an above spectacular job!”

“Stacey is the best cat sitter I've ever used! I had to leave the country for a month, and she took excellent care of my cat. I received several pictures daily and detailed updates, which reassured me he was in good hands. Even during a building fire alarm, she visited him to ensure his safety.”

“Annalise did a great job taking care of my cat Gus! She was consistent in the time she came to feed him and even added an extra visit when our travel plans changed!”

About: I love dogs! I grew up with dogs, as well as have a wide range of experience with caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with disabilities. My apartment at this moment does not allow for dogs, so I really am looking for some dogs to give some tender loving care to in the meantime! I am a teacher, so I am free afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends! I am a teacher- so afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends work for me! During the summer, I have a lot more flexibility as well. I am currently offering drop-in visits, as well as dog walking! I am looking for dogs to love on, as I can not have my own in my current apartment.
About: I have been taking care of animals as far as I can remeber. I am incredibly passionate about it, and love every second of it I am currently working full time. I am completely free during the weekends from 8am to 6pm to come play, walk, drop in, or whatever is needed! I have the goofiest golden retriever (Dug) at home who loves to play and relax. I live next to a variety of very nice walking paths/trails
“Isabel is extremely reliable and patient with our new puppy. She comes over when she says she’ll come, and she takes lots of pictures and notes during her visit, which we really appreciate. She plays with our dog inside and outside and makes sure he gets some good attention while we’re away at work. Would highly recommend her!”

“Mandi was great when she stopped by to meet Rosie and I. She took a lot of notes, and did great with Rosie, which made me feel much better about leaving for my out of town work gig knowing that Rosie would be well cared for.”

About: I cared for many pets throughout my childhood and have adopted, loved and cared for 2 dogs of my own. I’m a mom of 3– two boys and our pup Arabella , a street rescue; so sweet and full of energy! I’m also a professional photographer and I’m happy to take a few great photos of your dog while walking or caring for them (for no extra charge). I will show up with my full attention for your beautiful dog or cat—patient, loving and reliable. I am a professional photographer with a very flexible schedule which allows me to care for my own dog and have time to care for others as well. I care for my dog by getting her a couple walks a day and going to the off leash dog park often. We also love to get on trials and hike. She goes most places with me and gets tons of attention. I am aware of her needs and will be of your pets as well. I understand pets can take patience and mostly lots of love.
About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs! I've grown up with and cared for dogs my entire life. Additionally, I have over a year of experience working as a canine coach at a doggy daycare. Here, I cared for dogs of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels! Through this job I learned training techniques, how to read a dog’s body language, and how to respond to it accordingly. I have also been cat sitting for my neighbors for over 5 years, which encompasses feeding, cleaning eating areas and litter boxes, and entertaining the cats, making sure they are happy and healthy while their owners are away. “I had an excellent experience with Kylie! She was professional, communicative, and provided top-notch care for my cat while I was on a weekend trip. The cute pictures and updates she sent put me at ease, especially since this was my first time using Rover. I would definitely book her again for future needs.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a child, so you can trust that your furry family member will be in great hands. As a former dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone reliable to walk, feed and bathe your pet. I’m passionate about animals and pet care is second nature to me. I've had the pleasure of caring for dogs and cats of every kind and size and had the honor of being entrusted with the care of my family, friends, and neighbor's pets. Please consider me as your pet’s new best friend. I work from home and set my own schedule. Therefore I’ll be able to work out time that is convenient for my clients. When I take care of dogs at my home, I will be there to engage with your pup. I enjoy walking and look forward taking your dog on nice walks. We have a big, fenced backyard in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is no smoking at our home and it’s clean and cozy. Lots of snuggles here. My senior cat is okay with dogs being at our home, but she does not get along with other felines, therefore I only board dogs, but I look after all kinds of pets at your home. I have reliable transportation to visit with your pet at your home.
About: I am a cat and dog lover! I have about two years of pet sitting experience. I grew up having cats and now have two of my own that are 2 and 3 years old. I am very reliable, organized, punctual, patient, and flexible. I recently finished grad school and am so excited to have time to get back to pet sitting! My cats are like children to me and I will take care of your pets like they’re my own. My priority is to keep your pets happy and keep you satisfied as a customer! I have a very flexible schedule and can do 30-60 minute drop-in visits or dog walks at any time throughout the day. I only offer drop-ins at this time due to also having my own cats at home. I offer drop in visits in your home where I will feed, clean up after, and play with your pets. I understand the importance of keeping pets entertained while their humans are away and I will spend time doing their favorite activities with them!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Verona
Grace was super helpful when we needed a short notice stay with our very old dog who we don’t feel comfortable leaving alone for very long. Communication was awesome and she took care of all of his needs. We would definitely reach out to Grace again to help us out!
I just recently got a dog and I work night shift as a nurse. I’ve discovered that my doggy has pretty severe separation anxiety. She completely tore through her dog bed, ripped a hole in the carpet, and even started to bend the metal wires of my crate. I was able to watch my dog on my pet camera and knew she was struggling. Jess went ABOVE AND BEYOND with her care. She cleaned up the messes and even came over early one night when I knew my dog was freaking out. I truly couldn’t survive this week at work without Jess. Forever grateful and 100000% recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
