Vet Tech with a flexible schedule!
I’ve been a vet tech since 2020 and have experience working with dogs, cats, and exotics. Because of my veterinary background, I have experience with newborns to seniors, medicating animals, shy animals, and behavior animals. I’ve had a cat, dog, rabbit, guinea pig, turtle, and ferret in my home at some point and currently have four cats who I love so much. I’ve dog-walked for neighbors in middle school and high school and my favorite thing about taking care of pets is treating them with as much attention as I give my own :) Working as a vet tech really gives me an expertise in handling any and all dog & cat related health issues. I have the intangibles to handle animals that you might not realize you’re looking for but your pets will definitely notice and appreciate! *Fear Free Certified and have studied animal behavior and health for the last handful of years I also offer in-home vet care! Some examples of those services are nail trims, ear cleanings, basic grooming (e.g. brushing out or shaving matted fur), physical therapy, and animal cleanings. I also work with pet owners about ways to improve their pets’ lives! I have a million tips & tricks I’d love to show you. For example, great ways to comfortably restrain them for doing nail trims by yourself, helping you navigate a new health issue, or even how to get cats to stop throwing up their food! 😅

My goal is to give you peace of mind and good communication while I’m with your fur babies. Their safely and comfort is number one. I give all pets the attention and love that I think my own cats deserve :) I like sending updates with a photo because that’s something I really appreciate when I’m away from my cats. I prioritize a respect of people’s homes and making sure I clean up after myself. I will not take pets outside unless specifically asked to. I always check that doors are locked, lights are off, etc when I leave. However you usually care for your pets is how I will do it while you’re away; I want them to feel like their daily life hasn’t been disrupted.

Maya took great care of our pets. She communicated well and we will rebook her again when we need a sitter!
Maya did a great job with Sweetpea. Sweetpea is really shy and hides a lot but she was able to get him out of his hiding space and be comfortable.
Maya was wonderful with Heisman. She let him out to potty and played fetch with him at each visit. We noticed a positive difference in his behavior when we came home eat day after her coming by. Heisman was more relaxed and not wound up after no interaction all day, when she visited. Will be using her in the future and highly recommend.
Maya is amazing! She was so good with our two kitties. Normally, they need some time to warm up to people, but Maya got them comfortable right away. Maya was able to take care of our pets' special needs with medication as well as make sure they had everything they needed to play and feel safe. We will definitely reach out to Maya the next time we are away.
I think my cats might like Maya more than me 🤣 She's always so good at following up after each visit with details and pictures, which puts us at ease. Even when I change the instructions in their plan, Maya is sure to review those changes and carry them out flawlessly. She communicates any time she has questions. She even informs us of any unusual litter box activity, which is so helpful with kitties that have health issues! Thanks Maya!

Harmonogram
May-August 2026: My summer schedule is very flexible! I can accommodate almost any schedule you’re looking for, please message about what you need! Sept-Dec 2026: My fall schedule is very flexible, with the exception of my classes a few days a week (I’m going back to school at 32 for a business degree!). I’ll still be able to accommodate almost any schedule you need!
