“Azaria is so responsive and understanding!! She let out 3 dogs for us with less than 24-hr notice. It was so nice to come home after a long day on the road to no accidents and happy pets. Thanks Azaria!!”

“Rebecca was a treasure! Both for me and my kitters. Pics, and even a video, from each visit, showed how much Zuko warmed up to her right away. Communication before and after was so helpful, since I'd never used a service such as this before. Rebecca's service is definitely a 5-star rating. I'll be calling on her again and again, as needed. Thank you so very much!! NS”

About: I have been surrounded by and have taken care of dogs since getting my family’s two dogs when I was around 11 or 12 years old. Even since moving out, my family has relied on me to take care of them on vacations, extended work trips, etc. I now have two cats of my own, and love any opportunity to meet new animals. I am currently traveling the country, and looking to explore new places! I’ve found that pet-sitting is an excellent way to do so, with the side bonus of getting to meet new furry friends along the way! I am very intentional about adapting to each pet’s individual needs - whether they’re a fast friend or needs some space to figure me out first, my top priority is establishing trust with your fur baby. From there, I can ensure that I give them the proper love and care they deserve.

About: Currently **ONLY** offering drop in visits for CATS! Thank you! After a hiatus to focus on nursing school, my husband and I recently moved to the Verona area from South Carolina, and I can't wait to get to know your fur baby! Ever since growing up on a small farm with eleven different animals, I have had a passion for caring for and loving on furry pets. I am hoping to extend this passion into a career while I attend nursing school! I am cat/dog first aid and CPR certified through Redcross. I am currently awaiting to take my NCLEX to become a registered nurse, so I am available all day and can be flexible for your fur baby :) Typically, I would love to meet you and your pets before housesitting but I am also comfortable with walking them before meeting them. Please let me know what works best for you!
About: I live with my husband on 5 acres of land. A large back yard portion is fully fenced and has Dog doors for easy access and play. Our home was built with dogs safety and fun in mind! I have had dogs of all sizes my whole life and they are family! I currently have 2 smaller dogs. A Chihuahua mixes and a dachshund. We have taken in and cared for other pets their whole lives so they are very comfortable sharing their space. I've spent the last 15 years employed at a local Veterinary clinic where I have gained experience in all areas of pet Care. I have recently retired and my husband is retired which gives us the freedom to be available at home to be with your pets. I am home full time and my husband is retired so care is available all of the time. We specialize in geriatric dogs and offer care as needed Our home is set up for ease of care for elderly dogs. They can get in and out with one small ramp. Ramps are set up around the home as needed. Part of our large yard stays plowed and open during the winter months for small dogs.
“Sidney was on time, easy to communicate with, and took exceptional care of our cat! We were able to find a schedule that worked for both parties, and we received photo and text updates for each visit. Sidney is our new favorite pet sitter in the area!”

“Christina was a fantastic sitter to our aging dog and guinea pigs! Sue was very attentive and reliable. She communicated well with visit updates and truly bonded with our pets, especially our dog. Definitely will use her services again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats. I also did dog obedience and agility in 4-h. I love getting out to go for walks. I enjoy my time outdoors. I am open to any day of the week at any time. I often get my dog out three times a day for a walk. Depending on the day with my husband schedule, I would need to work around that. I have one dog that is very friendly and high energy at times. She likes to play a little rough and loves making new friends. I get her out 3-4 times a day. Rather that is for an hour long walk or even just going to the bathroom.

About: I am a CVT with several years experience with dogs, cats, and horses of all ages, I especially love the senior pets! I am trained in medications, wound care, and palliative care. I currently work during the day with most evenings free. I would ideally come straight from work to see and spend time with your pet! I'd prefer to get to know your animals routine and what they are comfortable with. I can easily adapt to fit their needs for the visit.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life, my father was a veterinarian. I love being around and interacting with dogs because of how affectionate they are. I am currently retired and open for whatever your needs are, 7 days of the week. I am open to staying at your home any day of the week as needed, or for drop in visits during the day. I will follow your instructions on how to care for your pet in your home to keep their schedule as consistent as possible. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and letting them play and relax.
About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was little, between dogs, cats, reptiles, and even farm animals such as dairy cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I can take care of pets at any time of day or night, and I can walk dogs after 4 pm. Tuesday & Thursday, I do have class from 7-10 am. I have a fence for my pets, we play with toys, and we go on walks (depending on the weather). My dog will sleep where she is most comfortable and she always goes to the bathroom on time.
About: Animals have always been apart of my life in both big & small ways. Being able to care for other pets, is just an extension of me caring for my own. My goal is to make your pet(s) as comfortable, loved, and cared for as if you had never left. I pride myself in the small details & going above and beyond what is expected. ~ Experience with young puppies to senior dog, and diabetic dogs. Including giving insulin. ~ Extensive experience with cats including specialized medical needs. ~ Comfortable giving oral, topical, or injectable medications. MY BACKGROUND: At an early age while growing up on five acres in the country, I was often taking care of a variety of animals, including our dogs and many barn cats. I was a bit of a cat Momma, often times assisting with extra care like bottle feeding or treating illnesses as they came. Eventually I started taking care of our neighbors animals when they were away. Throughout childhood I had several special cats that became my indoor pets & my first adopted dog at the age of 13. After high school I worked at a stable. My ‘Cat Whisper’ abilities came in handy while here- tending to the cats & ensuring the kittens grew up & had a chance to be healthy, loved barn cats. As a young adult, I cared for my two indoor cats & my Boxer puppy - a dream come true. ADDITIONALLY: I have almost 10 years of experience as a CNA and have completed 1 year of nursing school. You can feel confident knowing that your pet is in capable hands. I’m currently working from home & homeschool my daughter, allowing my weekdays to be flexible. I’m also home most weekends. I’m available for house sitting, drop-in care, walks, and extended care. FOR THOSE LOOKING TO PLAN AHEAD… I have my Spring/ Summer 2027 currently unavailable as I don’t have enough information yet to determine my exact availability. If you have an upcoming trip you are planing and in need of care, or looking for reoccurring care during these dates, please message me directly to get priority booking as my availability opens. My goal is to make your pet(s) as comfortable, loved, and cared for as if you had never left, and to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I know that every family has a different way of caring for their pets. Therefore, I will work with you to find out how best to care for your animal by asking questions up front before I even step foot in your home. Communication is key. At the end of my visit, I will give you an overview of your pets time with me including sending pictures. If there’s anything else you’re looking for, just ask.

About: Dogs are a huge part of my life! Before moving to Wisconsin, I owned and operated a dog walking and overnight boarding business in Maryland for two years. These days, I spend much of my time fostering dogs for a local rescue, helping them decompress, learn home life, and get ready for their forever families. With three personal dogs, I’m very comfortable managing a multi-dog household and all the different personalities that come with it. I’ve cared for everything from energetic, playful pups to seniors who prefer a cozy spot on the couch, as well as rescue dogs who need extra patience, structure, or time to feel comfortable. Fostering has taught me that there really isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to dogs. I pay close attention to body language, respect boundaries, make thoughtful introductions, and adjust my approach based on what each individual dog needs. I also know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind and wonder how they’re doing. You can expect daily updates from me, including plenty of photos and videos, so you can see how your dog is settling in and what they’ve been up to. My goal is to give your dog a safe, comfortable, fun place to stay—and give you the peace of mind that they’re with someone experienced, attentive, and who truly gets dogs. Pet care fits very naturally into my everyday life. I’m a stay-at-home mom to a middle schooler and work remotely part-time, which means I’m home quite a bit and have plenty of flexibility to give the animals in my care lots of attention, love, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and downtime. With three resident dogs—a 70 lb senior mix, a 2-year-old Boston Terrier, and a 1-year-old English Bulldog/French Bulldog mix—and all three started out as fosters who never left! I continue to foster regularly and work very closely with a local dog rescue, so welcoming another dog into our routine is something the dogs are very accustomed to. Dogs staying with us aren't spending the day alone waiting for someone to come home from work. I'm around throughout the day to keep an eye on everyone, accommodate individual routines, and provide plenty of attention (or a cozy place to nap, if that's more their speed!). Pet care is genuinely part of my everyday life, and I love it that way. Here, pets are treated like part of the family. My dogs are kennel trained, but they're also welcome throughout the home—including on the furniture and beds. I'm happy to follow your lead, though! If your dog sleeps in a crate, follows certain house rules, eats on a specific schedule, or isn't allowed on furniture at home, I'll do my best to keep their routine consistent. I live in a large apartment, so all outdoor time is supervised and on leash. I'm very comfortable with puppies and their extra needs, including frequent potty breaks, potty pads, crate training, and the general chaos that comes with puppyhood! I have extra crates that can accommodate dogs up to approximately 75–80 lbs, plus more dog beds and toys than any household probably needs. If your pet has food or environmental allergies, please let me know. I am very accustomed to managing allergies and am happy to follow specific instructions regarding food, treats, medications, or environmental triggers. Because your dog will share our home with my husband, middle-school-aged child, and our three resident dogs, dogs staying with us must be comfortable with older children, men, and other dogs. I take introductions and dog body language seriously and want every animal in the house—yours and mine—to feel safe and comfortable. While others do live in the home, I will be the caregiver for any other animals. For care in your home, I'll follow your lead. You know your pets and their routine best, and my goal is to keep things as familiar and consistent as possible while you're away. I'm also happy to care for more than just dogs during in-home visits—cats and other household pets are welcome, too! Whether your pet stays with us or I care for them in their own home, I'll treat their individual routine as exactly that: individual. Some pets want to be your shadow, some want nonstop playtime, and some would prefer that I serve dinner promptly and otherwise respect their personal space. I'm good with all three!
“Melissa was an excellent sitter for our 2 cats. They really loved her and how she interacted with them, and we felt confident the entire time we were away that they were being cared for as we would care for them. We 100% recommend, and will definitely book Melissa again next time we need a sitter for our purr monsters.”

“Analj is amazing, she is very attentive and patient with my 6 month old high energy puppy! She does exactly what we ask of her with our boy and then some. I received lots of photos and updates through out her visit with Apollo and a detailed report card. 100/10 will use her again!”

About: I lived on a farm when I was a little one. Later, I was a trusted house sitter for relatives when they traveled (watching the home and taking care of 2 dogs and 2 cats). I owned my own cat for 15 years. I've taken care of farm animals but not on a regular basis. I'm competant with delivering meds and being really careful with senior pets and those needing special care. I'm one of those people who talk to pets like they are people. I can be there for the extra play and snuggles puppies need, but I think the initial potty training should be by their owner. I carefully listen to the owners and what their schedule is like. Then I morph my schedule to be very close to that so the routine is similar with me and their pet. I adhere to the pet owners instructions. I make myself available for the pet so we learn to trust each other. I show lots of affection, if the pet wants to receive it. If not, I can give them space.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Blue Mounds with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
