About: I can't remember a time in my life where I haven't owned a dog or a cat. Many of our friends and family asked for me to watch or walk their dogs when I was a kid. Five years ago, I started a job at a pet store, so my animal care really dove deep as I learned to care for a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to fish and reptiles. I now work as a vet tech assistant and receptionist for a vet clinic in Madison! No condition will scare me off. I love all types of pets, big and small, and I will ensure that any animal put into my care is treated just like family. I'm a part time receptionist and tech at a vet clinic during the week, so pet sitting sessions will come before or after work on the days that I am in. I can stay with your pet at nights, head to work, and return straight to your home after. My weekends are typically open, barring any emergencies or trips, but I am good about updating my calendar. I am very flexible. If you need me to stay in your home with your pet, I can, I will just need to leave for work or other commitments during the day. I will not overbook myself or put your pet's well-being aside for spontaneous plans, as their care is my first priority.
About: Dogs control my life! By day I am a receptionist at a local vet clinic/rescue. At home, I have a rescue Chihuahua who is 8 years old and has been with me for 4 wonderful years. My whole day revolves around pets and I can't get enough. I'll treat your pets like the sweet baby angels they deserve to be! I work a later schedule most days of the week, Monday through Thursday I'm in the clinic until 7, and Fridays 9-5. I have plenty of time for morning and night walks, breakfast and dinnertime! I treat my clients home better than my own. You won't even know I was there! I'm clean, respectful and knowledgeable. I will stick with you and your pets daily schedules, so their routines don't get disturbed.
“We are so lucky to have found Elena! She has a magic touch and tons of patience with nervous rescue dogs. She's been incredibly responsive and reliable and showers them with so much affection. She really understands how important our fur babies are! If you're looking for a valuable addition to your doggy care team, we highly recommend her!”

“Mary truly loves cats and kittens! It's been a pleasure to communicate with her over the texts. She's always been very responsive and professional, which gave us peace of mind during our travels. We'll definitely re-book and recommend her services to our friends!”

“This was our third time using Jennifer, and once again she was absolutely outstanding. We could not ask for a better sitter for our two cats, Rizzo and Gabe. From the very start, she was communicative, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive — but what really sets her apart is how far she goes beyond what’s required. When one of our automatic feeders failed to open, Jennifer noticed right away and immediately reached out. She rearranged her schedule to come back for an extra visit so Rizzo wouldn’t miss a meal and could get her medication. She didn’t brush it off — she took full responsibility for making sure our cat was safe and cared for. She was also incredibly patient with our shy, sometimes hard-to-reach kitty, making repeated attempts to give medication rather than giving up. On top of pet care, she brought in packages, stored a food delivery properly, turned off a light we accidentally left on, and even took our trash and recycling to the curb. We received reassuring, thoughtful updates throughout our trip, and came home to happy cats. Jennifer treats our pets like family, and that kind of care is priceless. We will absolutely keep booking her.”

“Megan is such a great sitter for my girl! She takes her time with Peach, even when she gives some sass, and gives her the space she needs, while also making sure she has plenty of playtime and all her needs are met! I’m thankful to have found her.”

“Elizabeth was so great and accommodating!! Prompt communication and did a fabulous job with my cat. She provided a peace of mind while I was away.”

“Stephanie checked on our dogs while we were away for a long day. She left a great recap of their time together and shared a few pics. Communicative and exactly what we needed when we were away the whole day!”

“I really appreciate the love and attention Rhiannon gave during the visits. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands while I was away. The updates and photos were so thoughtful and made me feel connected even from afar. Thank you for keeping everything clean and making ssure they were happy and comfortable. I’ll definitely reach out again next time I need help. You were amazing!”

“Jamie is awesome! Professional, caring, loves her job and she goes above and beyond. She takes great direction, follows instructions to the letter and our dog Chance really enjoyed her pop in visits. Jamie also sends a lot of pics and videos to help set your mind at ease that your pet is having fun and safe. Thanks Jamie!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 16. Right now, I am currently raising my 3rd fur baby. I have experience crate training and caring for puppies. My dog, is a sweet girl and gets along well with other dogs. She is 1 years old and is a playful companion. While your dog is with me, they are my priority. They will be well cared for and I will make sure to keep you updated, so you can have peace of mind while your pup is in my care. I currently work full-time at a clinic that is 5 minutes away from my apartment. I am looking to help out mostly on weekends or in the evening during week days. I’m a single mom of an amazing 6 year old. She spends most of the summer with her dad. I would love to fill my time caring for furry friends. I have an apartment and take my own dogs for walks 2-3 times a day. We try to make it to the dog park as much as possible. While, I’m not home dogs do need to be crated. But, I make every effort to be present as much as possible to minimize crate use.
“Ellena has been a fantastic daily walker for my two pups, rain or shine, and through the bitter cold of winter. Her updates and photos from each visit were great and she was attentive to each dog's individual needs. Great communication and care all around!”

About: I have taken care of neighbors pets since I was 10 and have always lived with Golden Retrievers. Currently, my family has two 75lb English cream retrievers (3 & 6) who I try to walk everyday when I’m home. I love pets of all sizes and energy levels! I work part time this summer researching at UW. My schedule is very flexible and I have a car to travel with. Reach out to me whenever! I can almost certainly make any time work. I can feed your pets, give medicine, let them out/clean litter, walk them and play with them! Anything needed to keep your pets happy and healthy!

“Sarah is great with Clasby, and is always willing to spend a little extra time with him. She is also very receptive to extraneous favors that I ask of her, and never complains or has a poor attitude. She is our favorite walker/sitter!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my dog for around 6 years now and my aunts dog periodically from time to time. I absolutely love pets, especially dogs, and I’d say they love me. I consider myself to be very patient and accommodating so I’d love to take the time to know your pet and care for them to the best of my ability! I’m working M-F from 9-5 so other than that I’ll have plenty of time to walk and take care of your pets! I’m also super flexible and would love to talk and make things work! Unfortunately, I do not offer in home services as I am living in an apartment, but I am more than happy to commute to your home and help out from there!
“Wendy was a great choice, I was glad she was excited to meet our fluffier housemate! She took great care of our cat and sent lots of pictures as she warmed up to the new visitor. She hid treats around the house to give our cat something to hunt down while alone, and was respectful to our space while we were gone.”

Alex was great and took wonderful care of my K9 child. He was great about communicating and providing photos during check-ins etc. I would highly recommend Alex as a trustworthy, professional pet sitter to take care of your fur babies while you’re away. Will book him again!

Kali was so great doing some drop-ins for my pup while I was out of town for a weekend. I had never done drop-in care before, so I was a little nervous, but Kali's updates and photos eased any anxiety that I had, and I knew my pup was well taken care of. Kali did not skimp on walks and Cricket was a happy pup when I got home. Thank you for everything!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
