She gives the cats all the snuggles, pets, and love, so they don’t feel lonely even if I am only gone for a day! My dog, Maggie, is a rescue, she is very shy and timid. Magan let Maggie come to her and did everything perfectly to not spook her until she was comfortable. She is confident and strong walking her, because she is a strong dog! About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 16 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, a large Newfoundland, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs, which taught me the importance of routine, exercise, and lots of love. Now I’m a proud cat owner of two, so I also understand how to care for more independent (but equally lovable!) pets. Whether your pet loves to play or just needs a calm, reassuring presence, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel at home. I work full time at UW Madison during regular business hours between 7:30a and 4:30p. I have a flexible schedule where I work from home twice weekly and at work 3 days. I care for your pets and your home as if it were my own. I treat the pets with the upmost love and care, and respect your home and privacy. I play with the pets if they are interested, and leave them be if not interested. Pets have bodily autonomy and I respect that. I’ll clean up a mess if I find one, and I’d let you know immediately if there’s an issue.
About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). About: I’ve worked/volunteered at the Humane Society for two years. I’ve watched friends dogs since I was 12 years old. Love to take dogs on walks, to the dog parks and just spend time with them. I have 2 dogs already at home so I can only watch your pets at your house. I currently work full time so pretty much work around my full time job. I’m more available in the afternoons, there are some days that i can do mornings. I treat them like my own with all the tender love and care they need. I have a fenced in backyard that the dogs love to play in.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life which convinced me to get my own dog a little over two years ago! I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and adventures around town. My dog is black and has thick fur so it definitely depends on the weather where we end up going on a walk (whether there is water or a shaded area). I also enjoy taking dogs to the dog park if they enjoy other pups. I can watch small dogs and big dogs (who might pull the leash a little harder). I am a teacher currently so I have the summer to have a chill job that’s flexible for my needs and other peoples needs as well. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. If you have a schedule where you need to let your dog out every other hour I can help out. I can also do something more chill where they just need to be fed early morning or late at night.
