Justin can care for
Availability
My day-to-day is somewhat flexible and I work from home. I am less available during the winter due to another part-time gig. I can do local visits easily during the day year round.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and never leave my dogs out there unsupervised really. I would never take my eyes off of another’s dog(s) while they’re in my care. I will follow your instructions. My patience level is off the charts.
Information Justin S. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know about any quirks, needs, medications, fears, disabilities, favorite things or treats, and anything else that will help me take care of your dog and/or build trust with your pet. I also like to know their normal schedule so that I don’t take them too far off that granted they’re already in a unusual situation with a new/temporary caregiver. The goal is to minimize the stress on the dog!
A typical day
I follow any guidelines the dog is accustomed to. I like to interact with the dog. If its an overnight, I like to try to tire the dog out before bedtime so that he/she will sleep better. If licensed, I find taking dogs to dog parks to be a great energy-burner. Otherwise, long walks through the neighborhood and nearby parks are great. Playing fetch in my backyard works well for my dogs, too.

Pet care experience
My name is Justin. I have lived with dogs my entire life. I currently live and work in Fitchburg, and I have 2 Labrador Retrievers at home - one male and one female. I spend lots of time with my puppies and offer the same attention and energy for your pets as well. Anyone who knows labs will know that I understand the patience and energy it takes to handle a dog. I love taking long walks and playing in the back yard with my dogs, so whether I'm just taking your pup on a walk or watching them for an extended period of time, you can be sure they will be well exercised. I have some flexibility in my daily schedule, so if you're unable to get home to your dog during the day or right after work, let me know. Also, my labs LOVE others, so if a play date would tire your pup out more, I'm happy to take a trip to a dog park or bring my dogs along.

Fantastic care of our dog

Totally reliable. Based on Justin’s photos- my dog looks her walks with him!

Justin was incredible! Our dogs really loved him. We’re usually very anxious about who we leave our dogs with, but Justin very quickly made us realize he was the best choice! We look forward to booking with him again in the future! :)

Justin is always so flexible and helpful! He goes above and beyond for my dog.
