Lifelong Animal Lover 🐾
I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up surrounded by cats, small animals, and reptiles, so caring for animals of all kinds has always come naturally to me. After working as a teacher, I recently made the exciting decision to move into pet care full-time. This means caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in around another job. It’s what I do every day, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality, routine, quirks, and favorite things. My focus is on drop-in visits, dog walks, adventures, and in-home pet care. I’m no longer offering daycare or boarding in my own home. Instead, I love helping pets stay comfortable in their own familiar environment through frequent visits throughout the day or care in their home. I especially love caring for the beloved oddballs: the shy cats, high-energy dogs, seniors, puppies, anxious pets, quirky personalities, and animals with very specific routines. I’m also comfortable caring for cats, small animals, reptiles, and other pets beyond just dogs. For dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring, I love turning walks into little adventures with plenty of sniffing, enrichment, exercise, and attention rather than simply rushing around the block. For pets who prefer home, I’m just as happy spending time playing, cuddling, feeding, refreshing water, cleaning up, giving them attention, and keeping their routine as normal as possible. I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your animals and enter your home. I treat every pet like family and want you to feel confident that they’re getting plenty of love, patience, attention, and TLC while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic or laid-back, young or senior, social or shy, perfectly ordinary or wonderfully weird, I’ll meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! 🐾❤️

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Since I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes, I do my best to keep things as familiar and low stress as possible while you’re away. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, household rules, and any special care your pet may need. I’m very respectful of both your pets and your home, and I pay close attention to doors, gates, leashes, food restrictions, and anything else that helps keep everyone safe. I’m also happy to provide frequent updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Every animal is different, so I take time to learn their personality and comfort level. Whether they need lots of activity and attention, a slower approach, extra reassurance, or simply someone nearby to keep their routine consistent, I adjust my care to what makes them feel safest and most comfortable.

Emma was great with our cat!
Emma was so good with my little kitty. He is skiddish and doesn’t always like new people but she was patient and consistent with him. I greatly appreciated her coming in and giving him his meds and food and any love that he allowed her to give while I was gone.
Emma is responsive, kind, and took such good care of my pup!
Emma was great! Very communicative and on top of things, and our cats were happy and well cared for.
She was dependable, dogs were well taken care of and she sent a lot of good photos!

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule and do pet care full-time during the summers. Your pets will get plenty of, playtime, potty breaks, and snuggles throughout the day. I can accommodate weekdays, weekends, and extended stays whenever possible.

- I love all breeds, ages, species, and personalities! Before care begins, I’d love to know about your pet’s routine, favorite activities, quirks, fears, medical needs, medications, behavior around people and other animals, and anything else that helps them feel safe and comfortable. I also like to know about feeding instructions, potty or litter habits, walking preferences, triggers, escape tendencies, household rules, and any special routines you’d like me to maintain. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can keep their care consistent, stress-free, and personalized to them.
