About: A life-long animal lover, I grew up training our large family dogs in agility and obedience in 4-H (with the ribbons to prove it). As a child and teenager, I had a corner on the pet sitting market in my neighborhood. More recently, I've cared for friends' dogs and cats for up to a week at a time. I'm a trained foster with the Dane County Humane Society and have taken in multiple sets of kittens, some with medication needs. I'm a hybrid worker with a flexible schedule. Apartment living means I can't have a dog or cat of my own, but I've been missing having them around and would love to give yours some love. I'm a hybrid worker, which means I can flex my time based on your pet's needs — and even work from your home, if they need some extra quality time. I'm happy to check in with you regularly about your pets and send photos of us playing and spending time together! Please let me know if they have beef with other animals/people in the neighborhood or sensitivities like resource guarding, etc. For safety, I would prefer not to take them to a dog park unless they are extremely good with other dogs.
About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. My family growing up never had less than 3 pets at a time so I've grown up loving and rescuing animals including taking care of outdoor feral cats,stray dogs, etc. I currently have two cats of my own and hope to have more in the future at the very least by fostering :) Besides when working my 9/5 or rover I spend most of my free time with my cats. I also keep a cat crate and food in my car in case I ever see any stray cats and I have a humane trap at home. I have raised puppies and kittens from 2 months old and have had elderly pets that have lived to be 19 years old so I have experience with lots of pets of different ages, breeds, and personality types. I've taken care of upwards of 7 cats all in the same household so I am also experienced with caring for multiple pets including households with multiple cats and also dogs. I also have experience to varying degrees with deer, rabbits, horses, chickens, quail, and fish. I think pets are family and best friends and I am excited to meet yours and give them lots of love and attention I may be wearing a mask - don’t worry I’m not sick I am very immunocompromised so I mask around strangers just as an extra precaution so I don’t get sick For daycare or boarding for dogs I would prefer they are cat friendly but accommodations can be made for sure! Currrntl due to my job I can’t do morning drop ins or walks during the work week but can on weekends and can still do boardings. There are some afternoons where I occasionally have avilability and my availability is subject to change so please feel free to still message to ask :) I still do have lots of weekend free time too :) I’m happy to watch multi pet house holds and do daycare for multiple dogs if you have more than one! During meet ups I may be wearing a mask - don’t worry I’m not sick I am very immunocompromised so I mask around strangers just as an extra precaution so I don’t get sick In my own household I would provide them with their own toys, food and water bowls, and take them for lots of walks if applicable. My pets and any animals here are allowed to be on the furniture like the couches and bed but I usually put a blanket and a small bed on the ground in case some babies feel more comfy with that. I am more than happy to also crate them!

“Erin was a wonderful, empathetic dogsitter! She watched our girl, Zuki, for six days, and she texted us updates and a few photos until we felt reassured that Zuki was adjusting to a new environment well. Our dog is a rescue, and she has some strange behaviors such as being reluctant to drink water in the house (maybe because an alpha dog “claimed” the water dish at the rescue). Erin made sure that Zuki ate enough, drank, and she took her plenty of walks. What’s more, she cuddled Zuki to make her feel more at ease. Erin even ended up sleeping on the couch near Zuki to keep her company. I could tell that Erin was monitoring Zuki’s behavior bc she knew that Zuki has “fears,” and I was glad that Zuki had the opportunity to meet Erin with us present (so that our dog would be more comfortable and know that Erin was a friend). We are always nervous to leave our dog with someone new, but Jen did an amazing job caring for Dingo while we were away. I appreciate that she took the time to do a meet and greet and read over the care instructions. She was a calm presence for Dingo and respected his boundaries, while giving the care he needed. We’re so happy for the updates and many pictures Jen sent. That made us feel at ease. We would book Jen again in a heartbeat!
Our dog Lottie had a wonderful time. The large backyard and playtime provided her a ton of fun that she was happily tired on pick up! Derek and Yoki were able to squeeze her in due to a last minute change that happened with our schedule that was incredibly appreciated! Highly professional, and highly recommend!
Christina was amazing!!! Offered for us to come take a look at her place before the boarding!! Was very flexible with drop off/pickup!! Made sure to ask questions about sky and her needs to make her as comfortable as possible!! Sent lots of pictures and updates and did was great about making sure sky was eating!
I was honestly kinda nervous to leave my dog because I’ve never boarded him before and he can be a little anxious sometimes lol, but she was genuinely SO amazing with him!! She sent a ton of updates and pictures which made me feel so much better, and you could tell she really cared about him and wanted him comfortable. He came home happy, sleepy, and clearly very loved on haha. She was super sweet, easy to communicate with, and just overall made the whole experience way less stressful than I expected.
