About: I recently lost my own dog, Sonora, that I had for 16 years. I’m not ready for a new one of my own, but I have a large space and plenty of free time, so I want to love your dogs! Whatever you need me to do, I’ll be happy to do it. I want your dog to feel as much love as they do at home. I work 2-3 days per week and can work from home if I want to. If I’m home I can let your dog out as much as needed. If I do go to the office, it would likely be about 6 hours max. When I’m not working, we can walk and play all day! I have a fenced yard with plenty of space to run, dog toys and treats, water and food bowls. The neighborhood is great for walking on leash. We also have a small collapsible dog pool.

About: Hello! I was fortunate enough to grow up in a home that always had a myriad of animals. Taking in and caring for strays was something my parents encouraged. As an adult, I adopted my five dogs (including bringing three home with me from Morocco after I finished my Peace Corps service) and three cats. I was also a foster parent with Underdog Pet Rescue for years where I had the privilege of caring for dozens of dogs and cats in my home and setting them up for a happy life with their adopters. In addition to dogs and cats, I have pet-sat for families with chickens, pot-bellied pigs, and various reptiles and amphibians. I am happy to care for any creature (only thing I am unable to do is snakes that require live feedings). I own my house and have a large, fenced-in backyard. I work from home and create my own schedule so I am easily able to accommodate most drop-in times as well as give your loved one plenty of attention and love if they’re boarding with me. Holly & Ana Maria were absolutely wonderful with our dog! He stayed with them for about a week and had the time of his life with their friendly dogs and cat. Holly & Ana Maria are kind and patient and were attentive to our dog’s needs (feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, sleeping arrangement). They kept updating us about his meals, demeanor, and walks with cute pictures and messages. Our dog was very comfortable and happy with them for that week. Our dog’s stay at Margaret’s home was comfortable and uneventful. Margaret followed our directives and spend great quality time with Della, especially exercising her. We were given several updates daily, with photos. She quickly got to know our dog well as a result our dog felt safe and relaxed there. It was our first time using a Rover sitter for Della and we were pleased.
My dog Lola seem to have an amazing time. All the dogs they were caring for were very friendly with a lot of room to run. It was nerve-racking, leaving my dog however, my dog seem to have the time of her life lol. I will rebook with them whenever I need dog care and would recommend anyone doing so as well
Nicolette was an amazing caretaker for my babies while I was gone for a few weeks! She sent me photos and videos of them and provided updates on how my shy girl was opening up throughout her stay. The dogs were super happy and comfortable with Nicollete when I came to pick them up, with one of them almost looking disappointed to leave lol! Alicia was great with Ginger! Since Ginger is a senior dog, I wanted her to stay in a caring home rather than a kennel. Alicia kept me updated and sent lots of pictures, and I could tell my girl was happy and comfortable. I really appreciated the great care she gave her and would definitely book again.
Very responsive which was really appreciated! There were more dogs there during the stay than I anticipated. I was pretty nervous because I have a rescue dog who is nervous around other dogs, but we were sent a lot of pictures and a video of him running around the backyard with a group of other dogs. So whatever she did manage all the dogs seemed to work!
Mikaela took excellent care of our pup, Luna. Her home truly became Luna’s home away from home this summer. We loved receiving pictures from their walks, and Luna and Mikaela’s pup, Theo, became the best of friends! I also appreciated Mikaela’s flexibility when our travel plans were in flux. She is a wonderful sitter and so easy to work with. Luna’s looking forward to her next stay at Mikaela’s!
Our aussies had a great visit with Erin and family! We did a meet and greet first so they would feel comfortable. Erin checked in a few times during the visit with photos and updates on how they were doing, so I had peace of mind to not worry about them. We would book again!
Megan, Nick, and their daughters (and Banjo) treated Tilly like part of their family during her first stay with them. This was the first time we left Tilly with others since she joined our family. We were so appreciative of the photo and text updates and we felt great knowing Tilly was in such good care. Tilly got great exercise in their large, fenced in back yard and received a lot of attention. We definitely recommend this loving, caring family.
