“Becky and Judd have treated Neko so well and if he was there own! They have worked with us on short notice stays, and always keep me updated on how well he’s doing! Neko loves going over there to be watched by their family!”

“Mary and her family were absolutely wonderful sitters for Grizzy! They took great care of him during a cold snap, making sure he was warm and comfortable. Mary sent wonderful updates and absolutely adorable pictures, and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Christine once again did a wonderful job caring for Georgie. We got many pictures every day, and he seemed to really enjoy running around her new, big yard! I also really appreciated the willingness to coordinate pickup and drop-off closer to home since we're coming from Madison.”
“Our boys had a great time with Michelle and her family! She kept us updated and sent pictures during there stay. Would highly recommend her for your petsitting needs.”

About: Ive grown up on a farm, nursed alot of kittens back to life due to mommas leaving them behind. Ive always had a dog growing up. As an adult ive had my own dogs to care for and loved them dearly. I currently dont have pets of my own and miss them! I have a house with a privacy fenced in yard for dog friends to run and roam. I enjoy walks, throwing ball and of course snuggles and love too! I have 3 kiddos, youngest being 8. Let me take care of your furry family members so you can work or play 😊 As a single mom, my schedule is very open and flexible- currently allowing me to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I currently prefer to provide pet care in my home, where your pet will be welcomed as part of our family. I'm brand new to Rover and excited to begin this journey. I look forward to building trust with pet parents and providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for your furry family members while you're away. Thank you for considering us—we can't wait to meet you and your pets! 🐾❤️ We offer a secure, privacy-fenced yard perfect for burning off energy, along with daily walks and endless games of fetch. Routine feeding, fresh water, and lots of love are always top notch!
“Wanqing was wonderful from the beginning to the end of my puppy spending time with her and her pets. She was very communicative and even sent photos and updates without me asking for them. She clearly loves animals and treats them with kindness, respect and love. I would recommend her to anyone who wanted their pets to be treated VERY well. :)”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog Winnie received. It was her very first time staying at someone else’s home for several days in a row, and she was welcomed with so much warmth and kindness. I felt completely at ease while being out of state, knowing she was in such good hands. Winnie was treated like family, and I could tell she was comfortable, happy, and well loved the entire time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter. I will absolutely be booking again!”

“Amy was great! Our dog Cobi was with her for 10 days. I felt at ease leaving him with her because I know he was being spoiled and loved on. She sent many pictures and updates. He even came home with a few more toys then he left with. Thanks Amy!”

“We love this sitter! Juan and Gabriel have become our go-to sitter! Our dog (who has severe social anxiety) absolutely adores them! I would highly recommend booking with them! They are very accommodating for a last minute night out, being late for drop off, or having special requests! Overall great and compassionate people to be around!”

“Stephanie was great! She was easy to work with, took fantastic care of our pup. Our girl wasn't sure she wanted to leave. She sent lots of pictures and provided a fun and active environment. Would highly recommend!”

“Our 2 dogs stayed at Sarah's for about a week earlier this month. The stay was great! We got daily updates, including photos and videos. They have a fantastic large fenced in yard where they could safety run and play. They had lots of playtime, but also lots of snuggles and love. They were both clearly enjoying their own vacation at Sarah's while we were gone on ours. It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”

About: Friendly, warm, and welcoming. I have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to roam in my home plus a fenced in backyard. I've had dogs in the home since I was child and have been caring full-time for my dog for 7 years. I have previous experience with in-home boarding for some of my co-workers and have cared for dogs with nervous bladders. I currently work full time, but am always home in the evenings for plenty of playtime and walks. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times with at least a day's notice to work with your schedule. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam inside my home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture or in bed if they need some extra cuddle time. I can crate your dogs if needed during the day and my own pup is crate trained for while I'm away.
“Our dog Lucy loved staying with Christina and Jeremy. We appreciated how responsive they were and flexible with drop off and pick up times. We would definitely ask if she could stay again!”

“Beatrice did a great job watching over Chopa :) She sent messages and pictures to provide updates during the boarding which was great! I would definitely reach out to her again when we need boarding service again”

“Cleda was awesome! She took care of our dog as well as we would have ourselves. Frequent updates, communication, and feedback; and a really great environment are just some of the great points.”

“Hannah and family were amazing! It was clear from the pictures she shared that they felt safe and happy while we were away. Hannah sent lots of pictures and was so easy to communicate with. We already have another reservation booked with her!!”

Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
