“Neko came home exhausted so he must have had a wonderful time! Judd and Becky were so kind and worked well with us on a last minute request and we will absolutely use them again!”

“Ronalisa did wonderfully! Floyd is high energy and can be pushy- so at first I was worried as we had never boarded through Rover before. But it was quickly apparent than Rona was confident and capable even with young and crazy dogs like Floyd. She always got back to me quickly and sent the cutest videos of them playing fetch, swimming, and hiking around. Her dogs are also great too! They helped Floyd play appropriately but still have fun. I would love to board with Rona again”

“Cleda took great care of our pups, Nala and Riley! She kept us updated daily with photos and had good communication with us throughout our trip away. Our pups are a handful of energy and we felt very secure with Cleda and knew that they were in good hands. We’ll definitely book with her again!”
“Lindsey and her family are fantastic sitters! Her children love dogs and her dog Echo enjoys playing with Poppy. Lindsey makes every dog feel welcome and loved. She does extras like supplying extra food, treats and time outside. I was afraid my pup wouldn’t want to come home after all of those belly rubs!!”

“We just completed our dogs 3rd stay at Sarah and Zach's house and we already have stay #4 booked. Our always have so much fun and get lots of outdoor playtime. We love the photo and video updates and especially enjoy knowing they are being so well cared for while we are away.”

“Lee was great with our high-energy dogs. They clearly had a lot of fun in his large fenced-in yard, and Lee provided pictures and updates daily! He was also very responsive and flexible when our travel plans changed”

About: I’ve worked with dogs through volunteering at animal shelters for over 12 years. I have experience fostering dogs of all ages, and I am Fear Free certified. I don’t have a dog myself yet, so I’ll love and care for your pup as though they are my own! I work full-time, so I am outside of the home 8+ hours on weekdays. I can provide care in the morning before work and in the evening after work, and on weekends. I am available most holidays as well. I make sure to earn the trust of every animal I work with, which includes respecting their boundaries as we are getting to know each other. That being said, I’ll make sure your pet gets the food, exercise, and attention they need to feel safe and happy while you are away.

“Kato had an excellent time with Brad. I was extremely nervous as I had not used Rover in the past but he sent me pictures and updates throughout the weekend that put my mind at ease. Kato was a happy and tired pup when he came home. Will definitely book with Brad in the future.”

“Ann was amazing! We have a pup that has some tricky behavior issues and she handled them like a professional. She was easy to work with and super accommodating. Highly recommend!”

“Hannah and family were amazing! It was clear from the pictures she shared that they felt safe and happy while we were away. Hannah sent lots of pictures and was so easy to communicate with. We already have another reservation booked with her!!”

“Da Yeon took good care of Jackjack and shared regular updates. Thank you for providing a very comfortable environment for him and letting him snuggle on the couch!”

“Margaret was beyond sweet and accommodating, she took excellent care of my senior pup and gave her plenty of attention, care, and exceptional feedback. We’re new to the area and will only book with her, she's earned a trusted client. Highly recommend Margaret for any pet sitting needs!”

“Our 4 month old Luna stayed at Ballby's house for the weekend and we couldn't have been happier with the service. The hosts was willing to pick Luna up from daycare on Friday evening, they were very gracious about the "accidents" that our pup had on her first night, and we received photo updates throughout the weekend. Luna had so much fun playing with Ballby that she came home Sunday and passed out until the next morning. We will definitely recommend this host.”

“Jessica was wonderful and super friendly. My dog Bell stayed for a few days and we got the cutest picture updates. Her dogs are so well behaved and Bell was so happy she had friends to vacation with. She came home and slept the rest of the night! Would book again and will recommend her to others!”

“My little guy had a great time! He came back happy and tired. I got regular updates and photos. Christina and Jeremy responded to my questions and texts promptly and are a lovely, responsible couple who took very good care of my dog. I highly recommend them.”
“Huge thanks to Laura and Shadow for taking such great care of our pup while we were out of town! It gave us such peace of mind knowing that he was safe, loved and having a wonderful time. And we loved all the adorable updates. Thank you!!”

“Beatrice did a great job watching over Chopa :) She sent messages and pictures to provide updates during the boarding which was great! I would definitely reach out to her again when we need boarding service again”

“Gina is great! We did a meet and greet first so her and my dogs could get acquainted, and to make sure it would be safe for all. She sent me pics of my boys while I was away and I really appreciated that! She treated my boys like her own fur babies! I highly recommend Gina! 5 stars for sure!”
“Emma was absolutely amazing! Oscar (our Springer Spaniel pup) loved his weekend with Emma and her dogs, and came back so happy - and tired - from all the fun. They played, went on walks and I got all the photos along the way! We definitely plan to use Emma's services again- hopefully very soon!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Verona
Ann is a very attentive person. Made sure my Baby Kee was very well taken care of on such a short notice. Had people coming to spray apartments routinely and didn't want our new kitten to be here on the chance of getting into the stuff they are putting down or a chance of getting out. Ann made sure that I was updated with what our kitten was up to and sent pictures as well! If I need these services again I will definitely ask to see if your available again! Thank you again.

My cat, George loved his stay here! Bobby (and family) took very good care of him. They sent me daily photos of him lounging around or hanging out with their two cats. The kids gave him lots of attention and he got plenty of time to watch birds from the window. Very pleasant experience for myself and George, I would happily book him with Bobby again!

Valeria was great with Gus! She consistently communicated with me and sent lots of pictures. I appreciated that she let me know that my Gus wasn’t eating as much dry food, showed me that she really cares for the wellbeing of the animals she cares for. Gus was sad to leave her! Will definitely consider rebooking Valeria in the future!

Wow! Brenda, Joey and their kids are absolutely wonderful. Our dog is always slow to warm up, and she took to their family so quickly, and we knew she was getting great care! We very much appreciated the updates and pictures, and felt so lucky our Coco was with a loving family. We absolutely will use their care again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
