“Michelle is spectacular! This was my first Rover experience and I was quite concerned my pup wasn't going to cooperate with a (relative) stranger for a walk BUT from the moment they met for a Meet and Greet Michelle was his friend. It's obvious she truly loves dogs and I know mine loves the time they spend together. I strongly recommend Michelle to any Rover user and will recommend this app to friends.”

About: I am in incoming second year at Colorado State University majoring in animal science and looking to become a Veterinarian. I have sat for family and friends pets since a very young age and have enjoyed all of my experiences. I worked at University of Wisconsin’s vet clinic for two years in High School taking care of and cleaning up after various kinds of animals. I am looking to gain more experience while I am home over the summer and caring for animals is something I love to do! I am available almost everyday over the summer with exceptions of some vacations. I am very flexible on the days I am in town as I don’t have another job or any other prior commitments. I can do anything needed including walking, feeding, cleaning up after, spending time with, or playing with animals. I would not be able to take any pets at my house since I have two dogs of my own but I would be more than willing to stay over at owner’s homes! really anything needed involving animal care I can provide.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, & many other animals since I was young! I currently have two English Cocker Spaniels - they are sweeties! My husband and I got them as pups and trained them ourselves. I feel very confident working with puppies and I adore them. The dogs I grew up with were all rescues, so I also feel confident in caring for rescue dogs that may have more difficult pasts or behaviors. We had a senior chihuahua up until a year ago- she was my everything! Big or small, active or couch potato, I’m happy to care for your special ones. I am happy to get out and walk, run, bike, train or play as well as cuddle up and give some loves. (: I have a flexible work schedule and can easily fit in part-time pet sitting. I’m happy to come by for an hour or two in the afternoon as well as stay the night and keep the animals active morning and evening. I typically try to avoid leaving pets for more than 5 hours- it’s typically 2-4. I have two sweet, easy going boys that are very happy to play and hang out with other dogs in the owner’s home if they would like. I am flexible- I have watched active dogs, low-key dogs, dogs that need extra love and attention, and everything in between. I’m an active person and am happy to take dogs on longer walks or runs, even. My lifestyle is such that doing activities with animals fits in well with the day-to-day.

“Austin did a great job walking Carmello. He responded to a last minute booking and I couldn’t have been more happy with his services. Have already booked him again and hopefully more in the future.”

“Great walker and great communication. My dog was very pleased and comfortable”

“Magan is great with my dogs! She is punctual and takes them for a nice long walk everyday! Will definitely continue to use her services and highly recommend.”

About: We've been pet owners for over 20 years. We take care of them as members of the family. We are expirienced with animals that need extracare providing medications and helping them up and down of places as our dogs had artritis and cancer. We have 3 kids that love playing fetch and are hoping to teach new tricks to your pet. We both work from home so there is someone always with the pets. We do walks during the day and are available to feed and provide medicines 24/7 We feed them, give them a bath, walk with them, play with them, and love cuddles (my wife mostly). We try to estimulate their minds and body depending on their level of activity

“I had to take a last minute work trip and Kaylyn came to my rescue. She walked my sweet Willow. She made sure my girl was fed and walked and taken care of! Will definitely reach out to Kaylyn again!”

“Megan did a great job with Sami while we were away! We would definitely use her again!”

“I highly recommend Iva for her services. From our first meeting at the in-person Meet & Greet, it was clear that she genuinely cared for my dog, Millie, as if she were her own. Iva quickly adapted to Millie's senior dog needs and promptly informed me of any concerns she noticed, keeping me well-informed. Having just moved to the area to start a new full-time job, this was my first experience leaving Millie home alone. Knowing that Iva was coming to walk her twice a day gave me tremendous peace of mind. I appreciated receiving brief reports and photos of their time together during my busy workdays. Iva even took the time to show extra love to my cat, Missy.”

About: Woof ("Howdy”, in dog talk;)! OK, corny, but I do, in fact, talk to my pets, and I'm pretty sure they talk back. I have decades of experience with pets of my own, at one time with 2 dogs and 5 cats), and a couple of years' volunteer experience with the Dane County Humane Society, Shelter from the Storm Animal Rescue, and Fetch WI Rescue (current). I have a Fear Free certification (see (see details on their website at Fear Free Shelters) which has been pivotal in handling difficult dogs and doing basic instruction in sit, down, and leash walking. I am comfortable with puppies to pitties, and kittens to little lions ( I fostered 3 active kittens during a shelter outbreak). I have also volunteered at Henry Vilas Zoo as an animal educator and can bore you with all kinds of factoids on lions, tigers and bears (polar and grizzly). Also sloths, porcupines, giraffes and Southern White Rhinos. Most importantly, I love animals. I currently have a 9-year old Great Pyrenees mix who is a recent rescue and a foster fail, and we are deeply in love He has special needs but is a gentle giant. We walk a LOT and his (and my) favorite place is the dog park. I am retiring from a career in technology, and hoping to continue to be useful doing something I love. I am still establishing a routine, and this may help with the parameters Effective immediately, I can no longer accept bookings, where there is a outdoor cat in the household. Free ranging cats are susceptible to the avian bird flu, which is extremely contagious, and which I don’t want to bring home to my cats Not a judgment, just a precaution I will treat your pets as my own; my dog likes long walks and long brushing sessions; my cats love laptime and the elusive laser and feather. I administer medication daily to both my elderly dog and and one of my senior cats.

About: I have worked with animals for about 6 years. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats. I work at a doggy daycare for 2+ and can deal with 30+ dogs on my own and have dealt with large and small dogs both shy and aggressive or friendly. I also work at an animal hospital but mostly just cleaning and observing. I am planning on working with animals my whole life and there is rarely a time you see me without one. Because it is summer I have tons of extra time to hang with your pets. I work two oart time jobs but only 2-3 days a week and will always make time for your pet. I am flexible and willing to do whatever you ask of me. I will follow all routines and make your animal as calm and safe as possible while you’re away.
