“Lauri was an amazing sitter for our two cats while we were gone for the weekend. She was very nice and attentive. Lauri sent great summaries of the visits and sent multiple photos. We appreciate how responsive she was through this process as it was our first time having a sitter for the cats. I felt happy and relieved knowing that our cats were well taken care of. We definitely recommend her!”

“Julia was great! Very dependable and accommodating to our changing travel schedule. She kept in constant contact and sent pictures. It was reassuring to know my cats where in great hands while we were away.”

“Thank you Krista for another week of cat care :) I was overseas and it was a relief to know that the cats were so loved and have taken to Krista so wonderfully. She brushed and played and cuddled with my girls and when I got home, they were not in any state of distress - I’m so happy with Krista & how she goes above and beyond to take care of my cats! Thank you :)”

“Grace was AMAZING with my cat Chester. She was attentive to his needs for pets, scooped litter and timely informed me if she was running late. My cat Chester loved her. She was everything I wanted in a sitter for my kitty. Highly recommend her.”

“James was wonderful with our senior kitty Mocha! He showed so much care for her when he met her, and he took care of her special routine needs. He was incredibly timely even on a big holiday. We felt so at ease and we will certainly book again! :)”

“Michelle was a wonderful sitter for our Maine Coon, Bullwinkle. Last time we left for an extended period of time he was lonely and stressed. This time Michelle visited him every day for an hour to love on him and do enrichment activities like bird watching with the windows open and lots of brushing and playing. When I came home from work a couple days after his last drop in from Michelle, he had his star wand waiting at the door for her to play with him. We will definitely ask Michelle to visit with him again next time we are away!”

About: I cared for many pets throughout my childhood and have adopted, loved and cared for 2 dogs of my own. I’m a mom of 3– two boys and our pup Arabella , a street rescue; so sweet and full of energy! I’m also a professional photographer and I’m happy to take a few great photos of your dog while walking or caring for them (for no extra charge). I will show up with my full attention for your beautiful dog or cat—patient, loving and reliable. I am a professional photographer with a very flexible schedule which allows me to care for my own dog and have time to care for others as well. I care for my dog by getting her a couple walks a day and going to the off leash dog park often. We also love to get on trials and hike. She goes most places with me and gets tons of attention. I am aware of her needs and will be of your pets as well. I understand pets can take patience and mostly lots of love.
“Janay is kind, responsive, and great with cats! She has taken care of my two boys twice now, and the experience has been wonderful each time. She takes the time to understand your pets' needs and gives detailed updates on how they're doing. I had to book the most recent visits very last minute, and she was super understanding, which I greatly appreciated. I'd trust her to take care of my cats any time :)”

About: We will welcome your dog into our family while you are away. My husband and I both work from home, and one of us is here at most times on weekdays. . Our beagle/ heeler mix (Obi) loves to play in our fenced yard, and then settle in for a long nap on one of the big dog beds in my office. Obi was born Jan of 2018. We also have 2 cats, Milo and Potato awho re used to being around dogs, and love to play chase all around our house. Your dog will be treated like a part of our family while in our home, or if we are walking / checking in at your house. We accept puppies who may need more frequent potty breaks, as well as older pets who may need medications, or special feeding. I work from home, and pet care will be intermixed with my calls and meetings. My husband also works hybrid, so he is available to help fill gaps, as well. I have a fenced yard, one dog and a cat. So, your pet will have no shortage of social interaction when they are in our home.
“Kira is so reliable, kind, and trustworthy. Our cat is pretty shy and doesn’t like to interact with strangers, but after consistent care, Kira was able to break through and our cat Mable was finally socializing with her this trip! Yay! We’re so happy with her service!”

About: I have helped care for dogs from their early puppy days all the way through end of life support/care. While my home currently doesn’t have any pets of our own, I am so excited to watch over and love your pets! I live in a very quiet neighborhood with tons of long walk opportunities. The house gets great sunshine and there are tons of spots for naps. I look forward to caring for your fur babies! I work full time from home, and am able to watch your pet easily during the day. I’m able to swing by and pickup/drop off as needed, and have time during the day to take any walks as needed. My neighborhood is very quiet and very dog friendly. Tons of sidewalks and parks, with minimal street traffic. The house is not currently fenced in, but I am planning to put one in during the spring (2026)!
“Mandy is so easy to communicate with and always responsive! She is very caring and attentive. I really enjoyed reading the Rover card every day, and I’m glad to see that she built such a wonderful friendship with my cat. I also have to emphasize—Mandy is a great photographer! Many of the photos she took are cute enough to be portraits (I secretly saved some of them🤭).”

“Carlee did an excellent job taking care of my two cats. I felt totally comfortable with her after our meet and greet where her cat knowledge became clear. My cats loved her and I had peace of mind knowing they were in good hands.”

“Annalise did a great job taking care of my cat Gus! She was consistent in the time she came to feed him and even added an extra visit when our travel plans changed!”

“Iva and Eduardo watched my two kitties over the holidays and they went above and beyond with their care! They were able to pill my (occasionally naughty) kitty twice daily, kept me informed, gave them tons of love / play and sent me lots of pictures! Would highly recommend for an above spectacular job!”

Verona cat parents share their Rover experiences
It was a wonderful experience having Laura look after my cat Oliver again. She’s watched him before, so it was really nice knowing he was with someone familiar. She was kind, easy to work with, and very communicative while I was away, as always. I loved the thoughtful photos and messages she sent, and Oliver clearly loved her too!

Janay was great with my two cats! They both warmed up to her very quickly and she sent me a ton of pictures each day. She did everything asked and even managed to make sure my cat with asthma got his inhaler everyday without issue. I came home to two happy and well cared for kitties
