“Mandy truly took wonderful care of our cats, Meeko and Princess! I really appreciate all the lovely comments after each visit, and I loved receiving the photos—they made me smile! I wholeheartedly recommend Mandy as a cat sitter, and I will definitely be asking her again to look after our furry friends. 🐈🐈🤗”

“I just recently got a dog and I work night shift as a nurse. I’ve discovered that my doggy has pretty severe separation anxiety. She completely tore through her dog bed, ripped a hole in the carpet, and even started to bend the metal wires of my crate. I was able to watch my dog on my pet camera and knew she was struggling. Jess went ABOVE AND BEYOND with her care. She cleaned up the messes and even came over early one night when I knew my dog was freaking out. I truly couldn’t survive this week at work without Jess. Forever grateful and 100000% recommend.”

“Austin is a dream walker! I got about 20 adorable pictures a day, all wallpaper and insta worthy ? He looked after my boisterous boy with enthusiasm, care and diligence. I cannot wait to plan my next vacation only so that newton and Austin can have more time together! ❤️ thank you so much, Austin!”

“Thank you Julia!! We have enjoyed your updates and care for our babies. We will use you again and recommend you to anyone looking for a great pet sitter. Photos and attention to detail were great.”

“Erin has been a huge help with getting out some puppy energy while I’m at work. I could tell by the adorable pictures she sent that Winnie was in great hands. Thanks Erin!”

About: I am a cat and dog lover! I have about two years of pet sitting experience. I grew up having cats and now have two of my own that are 2 and 3 years old. I am very reliable, organized, punctual, patient, and flexible. I recently finished grad school and am so excited to have time to get back to pet sitting! My cats are like children to me and I will take care of your pets like they’re my own. My priority is to keep your pets happy and keep you satisfied as a customer! I have a very flexible schedule and can do 30-60 minute drop-in visits or dog walks at any time throughout the day. I only offer drop-ins at this time due to also having my own cats at home. I offer drop in visits in your home where I will feed, clean up after, and play with your pets. I understand the importance of keeping pets entertained while their humans are away and I will spend time doing their favorite activities with them!

★★★★★ Mandy is absolutely wonderful and always goes above and beyond every time she takes care of our cats. When we’re out of town, she comes by multiple times a day to make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and plenty of attention and care. She also brings in our packages and keeps an eye on everything around the house, which gives us tremendous peace of mind while we’re away. Mandy is dependable, thoughtful, and clearly cares about our cats as if they were her own. We trust her completely and feel so fortunate to have found her. We highly recommend Mandy to anyone looking for a reliable and exceptional pet sitter!

She was very understanding, kind, and caring. She followed all of my instructions carefully and took wonderful care of Chuuchuu while I was away. I felt completely at ease knowing Chuuchuu was in such good hands. Thank you so much for all your help and care—I truly appreciate everything you did!

Amazing as always, goes above and beyond for my kitties. Lots of people can drop in to reliably feed or medicate your pets, what sets Iva and Eduardo’s care apart is that they not only take care of your pet’s physical needs, but also spend fun quality time with them to meet their emotional/social needs while you’re away. It is such a relief knowing my pets are both exceedingly well cared for, and are also having a blast getting to play all of their favorite games !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Five Points. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
