“Manuela was a great caretaker for our senior dog, Rosie. She was very observant to our dog's needs and took care to make sure Rosie was comfortable in her new surroundings for the long weekend. Manuela sent us several updates with pictures. We really appreciate that Manuela went above and beyond and look forward to Rosie staying with her again!”
“Suellen was amazing with Kanye! From the moment we connected, communication was easy and genuine. She kept us updated and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. The best part was seeing how happy and comfortable Kanye was with her you can tell she truly cares and connects with the pets she watches. We loved getting updates and seeing him so relaxed and joyful. Highly recommend Suellen we will absolutely book with her again!”

“Michelle and her family are the greatest. I screwed up the schedule and literally dropped my dog off at her house at 7 am ON THE WRONG DAY, and she was so accommodating, flexible, and kind about it. She took such good care of my dog Luna and provided daily updates and pictures. 100% recommend and will use her again!!”

“Alex and Hannah gave lots of TLC with nice walks in the wooded trails nearby. They were extremely accommodating when we arrived late and then had a delayed return. Thanks!”

“Alicia was great! She was very responsive and accommodating. The boys seemed really happy when we picked them up. I would definitely trust her to watch them again”

About: I am a vet student who has experience taking care of other dogs, cats, and even birds while working in a vet clinic! I am able to administer medications, take care of senior pets, and those with disabilities!! Growing up, I also have taken care of both cats and dogs in my family😊. I am currently only working virtually and part-time for a research paper in veterinary medicine, so I am able to comfortably accommodate Rover and pet-sitting in my schedule! I have learned in the past to adhere to owners’ specific instructions and ask questions if they arise to provide the best care for their pet. While taking care of pets in the vet clinic, I respect their boundaries, closely monitor their health/behavior, and try to minimize any stress or fear they could be experiencing. With pets at home, I love to spend as much time giving them love and affection or stimulating their mind with play-time and toys!

“Brad was communicative and provided photo updates right away when requested. He seems to be very knowledgable of dogs and I felt Teddy was well-cared for while our family was away for a weekend. Booking and pricing was also very reasonable!”

“Katherine was fantastic!! Drop off was super quick and easy, and I got a bunch of great pictures throughout the day of my kitty enjoying her stay. I’d recommend to anyone who’s in need of boarding!”

“Lunar was so very well taken care of while we were on a trip. Sarah sent updates and helped us figure out care when our flight was delayed. It gives us such peace of mind every time Sarah cares for our active dog!”

“My two golden retrievers had such a great time! They came back home happy and tired after a fun weekend. Lee did a great job sending photo and video updates and making my babies feel right at home!”

“Duane and Lauren were wonderful to work with and took great care of our two dogs!!! Their communication was terrific and they were very flexible. We would love to have our dogs stay with them again!!”

“Cynthia was fantastic boarding my senior rescue! I received regular updates on her daily activities, along with photoshoot-worthy pictures. Cynthia asked great caretaking questions beforehand and as things came up. My pup was in great hands and looks forward to her next stay!”

“Ryan and Martha took wonderful care of my dog. They treated her as a member of their family. They took her for walks and sent daily pictures. I will certainly ask them to care for Ella again when needed.”

Kiki did a wonderful job taking care of my husky, Saito, while I was away on my trip. There was an unexpected incident where Saito got into the dishwasher and became sick. Kiki handled the situation with great care, checking on him multiple times throughout the day to monitor his condition and make sure he didn't need to be taken to the vet. Thankfully, he started feeling better and made a full recovery. Throughout my trip, Kiki kept me updated with regular messages and sent plenty of photos of Saito having fun, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It's clear she genuinely cares about the pets she watches, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend Kiki to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive pet sitter 🙂↕️

Adam and Alina were great with my dog! I got regular updates with how he was doing during the stay, and a full report from their daughter at pickup 😊 Zissou has stayed with them before and was excited at drop off to have another stay, which helped me feel at ease (sometimes people have separation anxiety too). I absolutely plan to use Adam and Alina again the next time I need a dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
