“Bentley had a great time with you both! Thanks for taking such good care of our baby! We REALLY appreciated the pictures you sent while he was with you, too! We will absolutely book with you again.”

“Ms. Ivy had the best time with Michelle. She got to hangout and snuggle with the entire family. She was well taken care of and her meds were administered successfully. Ivy will be staying with Michelle’s family again in April and I know she’ll be so excited to see her new friends.”

“Kevin had a great time! This was the first time he stayed over night without us and he did great. Kevin had another dog to play with and I don't think he missed us (well not too much anyway). I would definitely use Val again and recommend him highly.”

“Elmer absolutely loved staying with Manjusha and Midhun. They sent so many wonderful updates and photos, and kept him well entertained. He was only slightly disappointed to be leaving them to come back home with us 😋. I'd definitely book with them again! Easy to communicate with and flexible with scheduling.”

“Great communication for booking, through their stay, and when we needed to adjust our pick up time. We received pictures of our ladies several times, which brightened our day and helped us feel at ease when we were away. They were very attentive to the different food and medication needs our ladies have. We will definitely use them again for future boarding.”

“Emily was the most fantastic dog sitter I could have asked for. She provided the exact kind of care that I wanted for my dog and was very kind to our dog. Emily has such a big heart and anybody would be lucky to have her pets it your loved one.”

“August had a great stay with Helen and Min. They did a wonderful job in communicating with us during our trip and we felt so comfortable with her stay. I would highly recommend then. She was able to accommodate us on short notice.”
“Jessica was wonderful and super friendly. My dog Bell stayed for a few days and we got the cutest picture updates. Her dogs are so well behaved and Bell was so happy she had friends to vacation with. She came home and slept the rest of the night! Would book again and will recommend her to others!”

“Lucy had a great weekend with Jennifer! She got along great with Oscar. Tick season is pretty bad this year and Jennifer made sure to look over Lucy and keep her tick-free!”

“Lindsey was amazing! Our dog presented some challenges (he jumped a fence, broke out of a crate and sprained his tail!) but she rolled with them and took fantastic care of him. Communication was great, and the setup was fantastic (big yard, friendly dog there to play with). I would be excited to recommend Lindsey to anyone.”

“Mary took our dog for our wedding weekend and she was great! Pugsy had a great time with her dog, going on a walk, and going to the dog park! She sent pictures and we did not worry about Pugsy at all! We will definitely book with Mary in the future!”

“Stefanie and her family were so loving to my little dog Dolly! I cant say enough about how accommodating they were while I was away in Arizona for the week. I highly recommend them for your pups dog sitting needs! Will be using them again in the future for sure. Dolly sure does miss them all!”

About: Hello! My name is Audrey, and I'm 29 years old. I've spent over five years working at a doggy daycare, a passion that began long before I was officially hired. My parents opened this daycare in the mid 2000s, so I was fortunate enough to be able to come around and help out, or just spend time with the dogs throughout my teen years. From this I was able to gain invaluable hands-on experience with a variety of dogs. My lifelong experience with both dogs and cats ensures that I can provide top-notch care for your furry friends. During my time at the daycare, I encountered dogs of all energy levels, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. From puppies to senior dogs, and from calm to highly anxious pets. I'm skilled in administering medication, feeding, and monitoring for any unusual behavior. Having cared for hundreds of pets, each with their unique personalities and needs, I am dedicated to meeting and exceeding your expectations. I look forward to meeting and caring for more wonderful pets! I am currently working remotely which allows me the the flexibility to go wherever needed as well as be home with the animals for a majority of the day. This means I am able to give potty breaks or food/medication any time of day. However, some week days I play sports in the afternoons. This would only be for an hour or 2 at most, generally between 6-9. I feel very confident in my ability to make sure your pets are safe during my visits! Working with dogs for many years, I have a good sense of what to watch for and how to make sure your animals are happy and healthy. I am constantly aware of mine and your animals surroundings when I am doing a job and I try to be very cautious and attentive in order to make sure they don't get hurt, escape, etc.
“I would recommend Ndaziona to anyone who wants a great dog setter. Nikita was given best care anyone could ask for. During the time that she was with this family we continually got updates and pictures setting our mind at ease, knowing she was getting the best care we could have asked for. Again I would highly recommend this setter.”

“We needed a last-minute booking for a funeral out of town and Austin responded immediately and was especially understanding the type of care for an energetic frenchie puppy and 2 year old Frenchie. Great west side location and I know my babies were taken well care of they came back happy and on scheduled time. Will definitely be booking again soon!”

“Christa & Arne were amazing, they made sure we had updates morning and night and kept in constant contact so we weren’t worried. We will definitely use their services again. 100% recommended. Slark looked happy the whole time and returned well.”

“Very smooth stay. Excellent communication, flexibility in start and end times. Lovely companion dog. Delphie, as a special friend for our dog. Kristina also is wonderful - enthusiastic and friendly, communicated promptly when she had a question. Highly recommend.”

“Cynthia always does a wonderful job with our Dog August! August can be a handful and loves to take lots of walks, which Cynthia is more than happy to do. I never have to worry about how she is going to be cared for and that’s the best part. I can go on my vacations with the peace of mind that Cynthia will do an excellent job.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Deforest
This was our first boarding experience with Morgan and she was awesome. Our dog is a bit anxious and slow to warm up to people. It was clear from the start that Morgan understands dogs and can match their energy. She took great care of our Rosie and sent regular updates. It was great to enjoy our vacation without worrying about the dog. We also had some flight issues on the way home and Morgan was flexible and helpful.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
