Pet care experience
veterinary nurse 🩺🐾
I am a lover of all animals. I worked as a veterinary assistant (performing some technician skills) starting in 2022, and I graduate as a veterinary nurse may 2026. I am highly skilled in medicating, administering fluid therapy, giving injections, CPR, bandaging and wound care, elder/juvenile/disability care, and many other skills. I have had family dogs my whole life, and cats since I was 10 years old. I started dog sitting for neighbors when I was 12 years old. I have had and worked with dogs of many sizes, so I can handle whatever breed you have :)

Ratings and reviews
Olivia was very welcoming and excited to meet and sit Penny. I can tell that Penny enjoyed her time! Will book again in the future!

Olivia did an awesome job of watching our dog Archie! She has great communication and is super nice. Archie came back home a happy dog 🙂

Olivia was wonderful with my Lab, Ollie. She took him on long walks, including to the UW Terrace, and made it a point to wear him out every single day. I received nightly photo updates of all their adventures, and she was very responsive to any questions, both before the stay and while Ollie was with her. She even introduced him to her cats and he did great. When I picked him up he didn’t want to leave, so I know he had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Olivia watched my cat, Tony, for 8 days, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She made me feel completely comfortable leaving him in her care alongside her two cats. I received daily updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Tony was well cared for and happy. I would absolutely recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. 10/10!

Olivia was great with our senior dog. She was very responsive throughout the process, sending daily updates, which we loved receiving. I highly recommend her and will be reaching out again when I'm in need.

Olivia is very committed to her responsibilities in caring for the pets under her care. She will go to the ends of the Earth to do what is right for your pets. She has an incredible work ethic to her duties and obligations as a boarder.

Schedule
My schedule can be very flexible right now. I am only working part time at my veterinary clinic, so I’m home often with the pets.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
When I’m caring for your pet, I follow your rules. I’m very good at keeping an eye and ear out for trouble if your dog tends to get into stuff they shouldn’t. I am very observant and have a mothers instinct when it comes to animals haha! If anything were to happen where your pet needs veterinary attention, I know how to handle the situation until I can get them to a veterinarian. I know CPR for dogs and cats, as well as wound care. I’m very observant of possible hazards and always make sure the environment is safe for your pet. I think ahead about situations and make sure I find ways to prevent something bad.

A typical day
I live on Monona Bay which is a beautiful place to walk, and the dogs love it! There is lots of wildlife for them to watch and lots of scents to sniff! I have a big courtyard as well. I also have two wonderful kitties that enjoy having dogs around, and they are good entertainment for the dogs haha! For cats, I have climbing structures in every room. I have 3 cat towers, a window bed, and two cat bridges as well as many random hiding spots and boxes for them. I also provide some cat nip, and it has been a hit with all the cats! If your cat does well with other cats, they can hang out with my two boys. They do amazing with other cats. I have a two bedroom apartment, so we usually start the kitties in the spare room so they can adapt to the new space with less stress. As they get more comfortable I may even rotate them to the other bedroom for some more enrichment and a change of scenery.
