Home all day dog fosters
Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 16 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, a large Newfoundland, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need!

Rachel and Eric were fantastic sitters for our 3 month old puppy! We appreciated how experienced and knowledgeable they were. There was great communication throughout the whole process and we loved getting regular photo updates of our pup during our trip.
Eric and Rachel did a fantastic job taking care of my senior dog. They sent tons of updates and photos which is always great. They quickly responded to messages and offered to help in any way possible. In addition they were very flexible and accommodating with our schedule. We couldn't have asked for a better sitters!
Eric and Rachel were absolutely amazing with our pups! In fact, we already rebooked them before this first booking was even done because we were so happy with how they were treating our pups and their great communication. We have older dogs and our oldest is 14 with some health issues. We haven’t used a pet sitter since our dogs were much younger. So we were very nervous going into this, but Eric and Rachel took amazing care of our dogs, we’re patient loving with them, and always sent us updates and pictures. They also took great care of our home while they were staying there. They and their dog Lilo all have experience with rescue dogs, and you can see that and how they were able to adapt to the quirks and needs of our older dogs. Would recommend without hesitation!
Rachel and Eric are amazing. They made such an effort to help my anxious pup feel more calm. They send lots of great updates and check in with any questions. They took Chloe on three long walks and gave her lots of pets and attention. Lilo is the sweetest dog and a great friend for Chloe. They truly go above and beyond. Chloe and I will definitely be seeing them often!
Rachel and Eric took such great care of my very anxious dog. They did the absolute most to make her feel welcome and comfortable including taking her on lots of walks and giving her attention. Chloe is so happy to make some new friends!
Rachel and Eric were so responsive and sent lots of photos of Sawyer during her stay. They took her on several walks and Sawyer came home so tired from her day of fun! We would definitely book with them again.

Harmonogram
We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently.

We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

We will go out on frequent fun walks to various parks! I will play lots of tug and fetch with them and give them plenty of pats and cuddles if they like that.
