We have a tie out in front where dogs can enjoy watching nature in the wooded area across from the house and still be seen by us from inside. There is also a deck in the back that they can hang out on for a different view. We don't crate our dogs, but have crates available if needed. Dogs have the run of our main level with plenty of dog beds and human couches for their comfort. Home visits for cats will include cuddle and play time.

We'd love to know how your dog gets along with other dogs, what kind of play (s)he engages is and any behavioral quirks we should be aware of. We do not accept intact male dogs. All dogs need to be vaccinated and up-to-date on heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
A typical day
Our guest dogs will enjoy long walks on the many nature trails around the house, and even trips to the dog park, with your permission. Pup cups at Starbucks are a favorite activity. We have a large toy basket they can help themselves to, or bring their own toys. There are plenty of comfy beds and couches for nap time after their busy day.

Pet care experience
We have 60+ years of combined experience caring for a variety of dog breeds, cats and birds. Sue: I've had dogs most of my life, both rescued adults and puppies, worked at a pet store, and raised multiple birds from eggs. Molly: I grew up with cats (even earned a Girl Scout badge for pet care!) and earned extra money caring for neighbors' cats. As an adult, I've had cats and rescue dogs, done cat sitting, and raised my puppy to be a Canine Good Citizen.
