My dogs Jojo and Jagger are very energetic, and Indy is my tortie and the love of my life :) I am always available to talk and will respond quickly to messages! I am available weekends and weekdays, daily hours depending on my class schedule and your availability. I love to engage with pets and learn their body language, I will always have a ball or stick while walking your dog, but also understand when they need a break. My priority is making them feel as at home as possible, while earning experience in the field I love. I have patience for both cats and dogs, and will watch carefully to not over pet, play, or initiate with shy animals. About: I have taken care of large Akitas my whole life. They were very difficult to walk and struggle with other dogs so plenty of experience with more difficult walkers. I also currently live with a Jack Russell! Recent UVA Law graduate waiting for my job to start in January so available almost any time of day. Need more of a heads up for last minute walks to make sure I can be there, but other than that I am a trustworthy young adult with a lot of time on her hands! “I can't recommend Kate enough! My doggo (Kooper) has some separation anxiety. When I reached out to Kate we discussed what her home would be like for a dog. I was a little nervous, because typically we ask sitters to come and stay at our house but decided that we would do a meet a greet to see how that went. Kate, Cody, Gus (dog), and Poe (cat) made our dog and us so comfortable. Gus and Kooper got along great and even though Koop has never been around cats, him and Poe were fast friends!
