“Marcia always takes such thoughtful care of our pets and our home! It’s evident how comfortable all of our animals are with her, which puts our mind at ease when we’re away.”

“First time using Rover. Trinty contacted us to make sure our address was correct. She sent an update, complete with picture. It was an easy job with an old dog and he seemed very content. Will use her again.”

“She was very sweet always sending pictures of our fur babies. She kept them active and loved so they wouldn't worry about where we were. We recommend her highly and will be our go to in the future!!!”

About: I've cared for cats and dogs my own as well as other owners, for the last 20-plus years I also have experience with other kinds of animals. I protect animals fiercely and I am extremely receptive of detail and specifics that any pet owner may have for me. I have varied availability throughout the week and weekend. Although I have another job, and have a family, I still have flexibility to do pet care. :-) I care for my own animals deeply in one of my top priorities is meeting their needs. I probably even go above and beyond for someone else's pet as I understand that someone else is putting their fur babies in my care. I appreciate good communication and I pay attention to details that a pet owner may have for me.
“Danielle did an excellent job from start to finish. Because I found out late that our private sitter had to cancel, getting a replacement on such short notice was kind of stressful. Danielle had openings on the needed dates, and she quickly replied to my request. We set up a meet and greet, she came to our house, and the stress was gone. She immediately engaged with both dogs. They clearly liked her. My husband and I went up north, so cell service can be on and off. Danielle sent regular updates which I would see as soon as we were in range. I greatly appreciate that she left the house as neat as it was when we left; actually even neater. I would highly recommend Danielle. Thank you, Danielle for taking such good care of both dogs.”

“Zackary was so awesome! We was super communicative and seemed to spend a lot of time at home with our two kitties boys. He asked questions when needed, checked in often and sent cute pictures! Our kitties were definitely happy when we got home and he was respectful of our space. Thank you so much Zack, the boys will be happy to see you in the future 😊”

“Abigail took great care of our senior boy who requires extra attention - meds, mobility issues. Her communication was great, she sent photos of our boy and we returned to a happy dog. Highly recommend!”

“Phillip did a phenomenal job caring for our older dog and cat while we were gone for five days. He followed all our extensive instructions and went above and beyond to clean up accidents, our pup always has them when we leave- he brought his own little green machine over (he asked first!) and carpet cleaned each spot! We got great photos and were kept in the loop each day, we felt confident they were having a great time with Phillip. We will absolutely be booking again!”
About: I have had cats for more than half of my life and dog-sat for around the same amount of time. I used to dog sit two huskies all the time, had a dog of my own for a short time, and have experience dog sitting for labs as well! I have even taken care of a bearded dragon and snake on multiple occasions. Rover does not list animals other than cats and dogs directly but I am happy to arrange care for another animal as well, including exotic animals, for a fee that can be discussed. I am volunteering at the humane society and am very involved in caring for animals as much as I have time for. I am excited and ready to care for any and all pets that need it and will stick to specific details given. I won't hesitate to ask questions about the care of your pets when I have them to make sure your pet gets the utmost care and love while you're away or busy, and id yoy have plants that need watering, say the word and I'll do that too! I am currently full time in senior year of high-school and volunteering for two hours a week on the weekends, but I graduate in a month and will have all the time in the world to pet sit! I follow every instruction for food, water, walk, and treats and ask questions if I am unsure of something. I tend to stay longer than needed for check in visits just to give pets some company if I have the time. Unless pets are not very social, they will get all kinds of attention, and if they have any anxiety or behavioral differences I will be very careful and act however is best for them. I am very sure to be on time for visits and will be very specific to follow instructions for walking or being taken outside.
“Amanda was a godsend when our house sitter cancelled last minute. We met her first then her with her dog, Sedona, and I knew right away this would work out really well. You see my dog, Millie, doesn’t warm up to people easily and doesn’t always play nice with other dogs but Millie instantly liked both of them. Amanda stayed at our house along with Sedona, so Millie was spoiled having her two new friends stay with her. They went on many walks and Amanda sent me lots of pictures while we were gone. I will definitely use Amanda again!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, starting with in-home dog sitting as a teenager and continuing ever since. I have extensive experience with larger breeds, including German Shepherds and other high-energy dogs, and I’m very comfortable handling strong, active personalities. I’m also a Malinois owner, so I understand the level of structure, exercise, and attention that working breeds need. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just consistent, reliable care, I’m someone you can trust to treat them like my own. In addition to dogs, I’ve also provided in-home care for cats and am comfortable with a variety of temperaments and needs. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and communicative so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands. I am a part-tome firefighter/paramedic and have a fairly flexible schedule. I typically end up having a lot of days free especially this summer. Reach out with your needs and we can see what we can work out! I take safety and trust very seriously when caring for your pets. As a firefighter/paramedic, I’m trained to stay calm, aware, and handle unexpected situations quickly and responsibly. I always follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, exercise, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m attentive to behavior changes and make sure your pet is always secure on walks and in the home. I’m experienced with large and high-energy dogs, so I’m confident handling strong or reactive dogs safely. Clear communication is important to me, and I’ll keep you updated so you always feel comfortable and informed while you’re away.
About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.
“Eric is first and foremost a very kind person. He is obviously a pet lover, and our dog Daisy enjoys being the beneficiary of his attention. In fact, this morning she was looking for him, and I had to convince her to eat her breakfast! Eric is also great at staying in touch. I never have to wonder how things are going as there are photos and notes to reassure me. I guess I am a helicopter pet mom, so this is great. If I had to go on an extended trip and leave my pup, Eric would be my first and perhaps only choice. If you want to travel with confidence, look no further.”

“Laura’s care for our pup was above and beyond- from protecting him from another aggressive dog, to an additional full day of care with storms and tornadoes blowing through when our flight was cancelled was a relief to the frustrating travel plans during our return home and a welcome calm while we were away. Laura will be our first call for our next bout of travel plans! Thank you Laura!”

“She is amazing! She gave us peace of mind taking care of our seniors while we were at my daughter and son in laws wedding. She pays attention to detail and we appreciated that we knew they our pups were being well taken care of with her.”

“Ana did a great job with Willow. She pictures daily and reassured me Willow was good. Ana is professional and loving. Ana was also very flexible with me when I needed an extra night last minute. I will definitely be booking with Ana again!”

“We have never left our boy, Griffin for more than a couple of days before. We went on a two week trip and hired Travis to watch our big sheepadoodle. He was incredible! He sent us pictures and videos of Griffin at the dog park and around the third day, Griffin was giving him his paw and Travis was loving on him. We then received a picture of Griffin on the bed Travis used…. That sealed it…. Griffin loves him! We do too! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our boy❤️”
