About: I've cared for cats and dogs my own as well as other owners, for the last 20-plus years I also have experience with other kinds of animals. I protect animals fiercely and I am extremely receptive of detail and specifics that any pet owner may have for me. I have varied availability throughout the week and weekend. Although I have another job, and have a family, I still have flexibility to do pet care. :-) I care for my own animals deeply in one of my top priorities is meeting their needs. I probably even go above and beyond for someone else's pet as I understand that someone else is putting their fur babies in my care. They clearly liked her. My husband and I went up north, so cell service can be on and off. Danielle sent regular updates which I would see as soon as we were in range. About: I have several years of experience caring for many different types of animals. I have been a cat owner my whole life, so am very comfortable caring for cats (indoor or outdoor) in any capacity. I have previous experience dog-sitting for both small and large dogs, as well as senior dogs. I have experience providing drop-in visits for potty breaks, walks, feedings, cleaning litter boxes, administering medications, playtime, extra cuddles, as well as staying overnight to provide daily care for pets whose owners are out of town for multiple days. I also have some experience checking in and feeding farm animals such as chickens, guineas, farm cats, and cows. I am a big animal lover that has been around animals my whole life. I would love to give you peace of mind when you are away from home to know your pets are being looked after and well cared for! Currently a full-time college student and working part time in the Madison area. I have a flexible schedule so can do drop-in visits or stay overnight with pets if you live within a decent commuting distance to Madison. Comfortable caring for many different types of animals. I can provide most anything from a quick check-in, to an overnight stay if feasible. I am able to provide walks or outdoor time for dogs, comfortable cleaning litter boxes or other pet cages, and can even administer medications if needed too.

“Eric is first and foremost a very kind person. He is obviously a pet lover, and our dog Daisy enjoys being the beneficiary of his attention. In fact,this morning she was looking for him, and I had to convince her to eat her breakfast! Eric is also great at staying in touch. I never have to wonder how things are going as there are photos and notes to reassure me. I guess I am a helicopter pet mom, so this is great. If I had to go on an extended trip and leave my pup, Eric would be my first and perhaps only choice. If you want to travel with confidence, look no further.”

About: I have had cats for more than half of my life and dog-sat for around the same amount of time. I used to dog sit two huskies all the time, had a dog of my own for a short time, and have experience dog sitting for labs as well! I have even taken care of a bearded dragon and snake on multiple occasions. Rover does not list animals other than cats and dogs directly but I am happy to arrange care for another animal as well, including exotic animals, for a fee that can be discussed. I am volunteering at the humane society and am very involved in caring for animals as much as I have time for. I am excited and ready to care for any and all pets that need it and will stick to specific details given. I won't hesitate to ask questions about the care of your pets when I have them to make sure your pet gets the utmost care and love while you're away or busy, and id yoy have plants that need watering, say the word and I'll do that too! I am currently full time in senior year of high-school and volunteering for two hours a week on the weekends, but I graduate in a month and will have all the time in the world to pet sit! I follow every instruction for food, water, walk, and treats and ask questions if I am unsure of something. I tend to stay longer than needed for check in visits just to give pets some company if I have the time. Unless pets are not very social, they will get all kinds of attention, and if they have any anxiety or behavioral differences I will be very careful and act however is best for them. I am very sure to be on time for visits and will be very specific to follow instructions for walking or being taken outside.

About: I have two dogs myself and I fully trained one of them myself, plus I have experience with senior dogs and smaller dogs as well. I’m a dog lover through and through! I have a part time job but I am available throughout the week to drop in and either let your pups out/play with them, or to give them needed exercise! I’m also a student so afternoon/evening or AM works best for my schedule. I am open to interacting with your dog(s) based on what they need and are used to. I can easily let them run around in a fenced in area or crate them when I leave if need be. I am very comfortable walking dogs outdoors or just playing with them inside if preferred.

About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.

“Amanda was a godsend when our house sitter cancelled last minute. We met her first then her with her dog, Sedona, and I knew right away this would work out really well. You see my dog, Millie, doesn’t warm up to people easily and doesn’t always play nice with other dogs but Millie instantly liked both of them. Amanda stayed at our house along with Sedona, so Millie was spoiled having her two new friends stay with her. They went on many walks and Amanda sent me lots of pictures while we were gone. I will definitely use Amanda again!”
