About: Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile! I have taken care of animals to some capacity for 13 years. I have always loved animals and enjoyed being with them. My care started by watching neighbors pets while they were away when I was in high school. Eventually I volunteered and worked many hours at a local humane society. I even gained experience working with wild animals and volunteering at zoos for a couple years! I have always loved helping friends and family by watching their pets while they were away, in a couple cases for close to a year! I have personally had and cared for dogs, cats, geckos, larger lizards, fish, hermit crabs, frogs, and tarantulas... with more to come! With dogs, I had a dog who was not friendly with other dogs, and currently a (adorable) pup who is territorial and not so friendly with humans. So I have experience with and feel confident handling dogs with specific needs! I also don't mind being bit if your dog has some trust issues and may take some time warming up to me!! (So long as they are up to date on rabies shots, don't want to get that lol) I find that all animals, but especially dogs & cats really love me! I enjoy spending time with them, and would love to assist you in your animal care needs! I decided to hop on here for a little variation in my daily routine. I currently work a remote job with a flexible schedule (for the most part) and would love to help people out in my area by taking care of their pets while they are gone for the day! I am a busy guy so weekends don't always work for me, but if I'm free I would like to care for pets on weekends as well! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a nice size living room and bedroom. I have a dog who is older which is why I'm not accepting puppies under 1 year, but he is super friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs when not sleeping! I am thorough in my care for other pets. I will abide by any rules you have in relation to your pets schedule/routine, and I can be at your house whenever needed due to me working remotely, and I love going on walks so if that is required I would love to do that for you!
“Marcia has great communication, and my dogs seemed happy and well cared for when I got home. One of my dogs is very high maintenance and picky about his friends, but he loved Marcia at his meet and greet. Marcia was very attentive to his particular medical and behavioral needs while I was away.”

“Absolutely wonderful experience! Our pups were happy and calm when we returned home from a long afternoon/evening away. Tatyana definitely understands how to handle large, rambunctious (and love and adorable) dogs. She sent me pics throughout the evening as well, which was so lovely to receive.”

“We are so extremely pleased with the petsitting services Kyra provided while staying overnight to care for our 11 year old 60 lb lab mix Macy who had surgery three weeks prior. Kyra is so very kind and wonderful with our dog and she administered Macy’s daily arthritis meds. I know Macy misses Kyra already and so do I. Do not hesitate to have Kyra assist with your house and petsitting needs. She’s wonderful and we highly recommend her!”

“Maureen did an amazing job house-sitting our dog and two bunnies. She asked great questions and was very detailed oriented when understanding the care guide. Highly recommend!!”

About: Just getting started on Rover! I’d love to become your go-to, reliable pet sitter :) I’ve been a cat owner for 15+ years, and I’ve had experience dog sitting and caring for dogs for 4+ years. Willing to provide any care necessary for you pets including feeding, walks, providing medication, etc. I work as a full time School Psychologist, so during the academic year, I have late afternoon/evening and weekend availability. In the summer, I don’t work, so I have full availability! I have two cats of my own, so I would prefer to care for your pets in your home. Willing to stay at your home if needed.
“Ann is always great about communicating and asking questions if she needs to find something to improve her stay for Gabby. I also really enjoyed the photo she shares with me while I’m gone.”

“She was very sweet always sending pictures of our fur babies. She kept them active and loved so they wouldn't worry about where we were. We recommend her highly and will be our go to in the future!!!”

About: I've cared for cats and dogs my own as well as other owners, for the last 20-plus years I also have experience with other kinds of animals. I protect animals fiercely and I am extremely receptive of detail and specifics that any pet owner may have for me. I have varied availability throughout the week and weekend. Although I have another job, and have a family, I still have flexibility to do pet care. :-) I care for my own animals deeply in one of my top priorities is meeting their needs. I probably even go above and beyond for someone else's pet as I understand that someone else is putting their fur babies in my care. I appreciate good communication and I pay attention to details that a pet owner may have for me.
“Lizzie is AMAZING! She took fantastic care of Baker and understood all of his quirks. She loved on him like he was her own pup. We highly recommend her and will rebook. :)”

“Katy is so wonderful that I have to leave a second review. We’ve been going through a big transition and Katy continues to meet each of my boys where they are at. Her hyper awareness, consideration, and kindness allow me to travel and not stress about any of the boys.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, bunnies, and more! I’ve administered medications and eye drops, cared for elderly pets, and provided therapy support when needed. I grew up on a dairy farm, so I’m comfortable with animals big and small. I have two cats of my own and treat every pet like family. Available for dog walking, drop-ins, overnight stays, and all-around loving care. I’m pretty much free Thursday after 4pm through Sunday! During the week (Monday through Wednesday) is a little harder for me schedule, but I’m definitely still open, just let me know at least a week in advance so I can plan ahead😊 I provide gentle, loving care in your home, following each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and ages, including elderly pets and those with special needs. I’m also happy to house sit if desired, keeping both your pets and home well cared for while you’re away. Every pet gets attention, affection, and a calm environment, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.
About: I’ve been helping care for my families dogs since I was little, doing things such as cleaning up after their messes, giving them their meds, taking them on walks, and simply just spending time with them and giving them the interaction they need. I’m currently looking for a part time job aside from Rover, so I’ll have as much time as needed to come help care for your pets! Nearly anytime of the day, I can come over and walk your pets, feed them, clean up their areas, or just simply spend some time with them. I’m able to come over nearly anytime and watch your pets, feed them, clean them, or whatever you need! I can give them meds, crate them, walk them, etc.

“Our most trusted sitter. Our pup loves him! He gives him lots of exercise and attention. Whenever I'm out of town, Nate is the first person I think of to watch my dog. Can't recommend him enough”

“Travis is truly remarkable! We arranged a meet and greet where he invested time in getting to know our dog. He made sure to understand Remy's needs and ensured a perfect match. Travis went above and beyond by agreeing to house and Dog sit for 8 days. During his stay, Remy not only had the pleasure of regular walks but also relished the companionship at home. It's evident that Travis provided a level of care that exceeded our expectations. Our home was left in pristine condition, and to top it off, our neighbors were quick to compliment Travis on his friendly demeanor. Remy, our Husky German Shepherd Rescue, is eagerly anticipating his next stay with Travis. It's heartening to see such a positive connection between them. Travis has proven to be more than just a sitter; he's become a trusted companion for Remy. We're grateful to have found such a reliable and caring individual for our beloved pet.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a child and have always had a deep love for pets. Over the years I’ve gained experience with a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, horses, and even turtles. Spending time with animals has always been something that comes naturally to me. After losing my own cat last year, caring for other people’s pets has become even more meaningful. I genuinely enjoy giving animals attention, companionship, and a sense of safety while their owners are away. I’m attentive to routines and understand how important consistency is for pets. I’m comfortable caring for animals of different ages and temperaments, including senior pets who may need extra patience and a gentler pace. I’m also happy to reinforce basic training and positive behavior with younger pets. What sets me apart is the level of care and presence I bring. I treat every animal as if they were my own and aim to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give animals the time and attention they need. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits, and I make sure each pet receives unhurried, attentive care. When I’m caring for a pet, I prioritize their routine—whether that means feeding at specific times, playtime, litter box cleaning, or simply spending quiet time with them so they feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel at ease while they’re away. Because I truly enjoy spending time with animals, I make sure each visit is more than just a quick check-in. My goal is for pets to feel cared for, safe, and comfortable until their owner returns. I approach pet care with a strong focus on safety, respect, and maintaining the environment pets are most comfortable in. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible—feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I’m attentive to details and always make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure so pets remain safe. I also pay close attention to each cat’s behavior and comfort level, giving them space when they need it and affection when they want it. Cleanliness and consistency are important to me. I keep feeding areas and litter boxes tidy and leave the home the way I found it. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re away.
