“Cassie was wonderful! We had no worries, as we were gone for 11 days. She stayed at our home, so it didn’t stress out our dog, Zoe. Cassie was very proactive with asking detailed questions about her and just genuinely concerned about all her needs. She even suggested coming over for some visits prior to our vacation, so Zoe could get use to her. Highly recommend!!?”
“Mary has been a thoughtful and reliable dog sitter for us and our dog. It can be nerve wracking to leave a dog-reactive dog with someone but through my interactions and conversations with Mary I feel that I can trust her judgement and take care of my pup while I’m away. Mary leaves detailed notes about times for meals, walks, and potty times. My dog is always happy to see Mary and we will book with her again.”

“Ashley was wonderful - came all the way to us for a meet and greet and gave good vibes right away. Before our event, she came on time and provided updates and we felt very reassured. Our pup also loved her right away. Would recommend!”

“Ashley did a great job pet sitting for Tallee! She has been having seizures and Ashely was confident and willing to stay with her at my home. It really helped me enjoy my time away without worrying too much, knowing she was there with Tallee. I'm so happy to have her help!”

“Tatyana is a reliable and caring sitter. She stayed at our house with our 11.5-year-old German Shepherd and provided excellent care, and tremendous peace of mind for us. Having worked at a kennel previously, she is comfortable around all types of dogs (and ours is a big boy). She sent periodic updates and followed our instructions well. We highly recommend her for short or extended care.”

“Sylvia did an amazing job! Everything went smoothly and she was flexible with care given the extremely cold weather. We highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Isaac was very good with our critters, including our 20 year old cat. The dogs seemed to have a great time too. He was considerate with the house, cleaning up after himself and brought in a package that was delivered early without me needing to ask. We would rebook with Isaac.”

About: I have had cats for more than half of my life and dog-sat for around the same amount of time. I used to dog sit two huskies all the time, had a dog of my own for a short time, and have experience dog sitting for labs as well! I have even taken care of a bearded dragon and snake on multiple occasions. Rover does not list animals other than cats and dogs directly but I am happy to arrange care for another animal as well, including exotic animals, for a fee that can be discussed. I am volunteering at the humane society and am very involved in caring for animals as much as I have time for. I am excited and ready to care for any and all pets that need it and will stick to specific details given. I won't hesitate to ask questions about the care of your pets when I have them to make sure your pet gets the utmost care and love while you're away or busy, and id yoy have plants that need watering, say the word and I'll do that too! I am currently full time in senior year of high-school and volunteering for two hours a week on the weekends, but I graduate in a month and will have all the time in the world to pet sit! I follow every instruction for food, water, walk, and treats and ask questions if I am unsure of something. I tend to stay longer than needed for check in visits just to give pets some company if I have the time. Unless pets are not very social, they will get all kinds of attention, and if they have any anxiety or behavioral differences I will be very careful and act however is best for them. I am very sure to be on time for visits and will be very specific to follow instructions for walking or being taken outside.
“Renee was wonderful with our 2 puppies. One even had an accident and she called us to find out what she should do. We have a shampooer. She asked how to use it and actually shampooed their floor for us. She treated our puppies so good. Playing outside and walking. I would hire her again.”

“Elizabeth was amazing with my dog while I was traveling for work. She sent daily updates and many pictures. I would definitely use her services again.”

“Emma was absolutely fantastic with our large dogs! They are a bit high maintenance in their own ways but they were taken care of perfectly! Will absolutely be booking again in the future!”

About: Hi! I’m Ayomi, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am. I’ve had the joy of working with dogs of all ages and personalities from energetic puppies still learning the world to older dogs who move a little slower and need some extra love. I approach pet care the same way I would care for my own patient, present, and with a whole lot of heart. I take the time to learn each dog’s unique needs and routines because I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their people are away. Whether your dog needs long walks, gentle play, quiet companionship, or help with medication or anxiety, I’m here to meet them where they are and give them the attention they deserve. I truly love building trust with both pets and their humans. You can expect regular updates, happy photos, and the reassurance that your pup is in loving, capable hands. Every visit is a chance to create a little joy and comfort for your furry friendcand that’s a responsibility I take seriously and gratefully. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I often work from home in my downtown Madison apartment. I love taking long walks around town or heading to Picnic Point for a quiet hike, so having a pup along for the journey just makes it that much better. I usually walk about a mile or two a day, but I’m happy to adjust based on your furry friend’s energy level and needs. My schedule is flexible, and with at least a week's notice, I can make sure I’m fully available to give your dog the time and attention they deserve. I’ve always loved traveling, so pet sitting is a fun and fulfilling way for me to enjoy the company of dogs while I’m still settling down. Whether it’s a weekend stay or daily walks, I’m excited to share my time! Creating a safe and comforting environment is my top priority, whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours. I treat every dog like family—with patience, attentiveness, and a whole lot of love. In my downtown apartment, pets are kept in a clean, calm space free of hazards, with plenty of room to stretch, nap, or play. I don’t have any other pets, so your dog will get my full attention and care without distractions. When I’m in your home, I’m always respectful of your space and routines, making sure your dog stays comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I follow all care instructions closely and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pup is doing. I believe trust is built through consistency, communication, and genuine care and that’s what I bring to every visit. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or just keeping your pup company, I’m committed to making sure your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home.
“Askley dog sitted at our house for the weekend. She was very responsive to initial inquiry as well as continued communication. She was professional yet very friendly and asked appropriate questions about our dogs . Our dogs are quite a handful but she developed a fast relationship with them. She sent pictures and brief update daily. So glad we found an amazing caregiver thru Rover!”

“Louisa was excellent! She was so thorough in our meet and greet making sure she was aware of any and all needs Ollie might have. Ollie loved her right away which made me feel very comfortable. Louisa was great at communicating and sent pictures during the sit which I appreciated. Highly recommend her and will certainly have her care for Ollie in the future!”

“We have never left our boy, Griffin for more than a couple of days before. We went on a two week trip and hired Travis to watch our big sheepadoodle. He was incredible! He sent us pictures and videos of Griffin at the dog park and around the third day, Griffin was giving him his paw and Travis was loving on him. We then received a picture of Griffin on the bed Travis used…. That sealed it…. Griffin loves him! We do too! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our boy❤️”

Mary was an excellent caretaker for Star while I was away. Star adores her and when I came home she was a very relaxed and mellow kitty. Mary sent me pics and videos of Star, while I was away, and left a peaceful vibe in her wake. I will definitely hire her again.
Chandra stayed at our house and watched our 2 dogs for three nights. She did a great job and was very detail-oriented and attentive to our instructions. She left the house clean and tidy as well. We would definitely hire her again. She stopped by the day after we returned to pick something up, and the dogs were very happy to see her!
