About: I have a lot of experience with animals, especially cats and dogs. Growing up I had multiple rescue dogs and a cat. In addition to my own pets I regularly take care of my neighbors’ dogs. In the past I worked for Cherokee Kennels and volunteered for Shelter from the Storm and the Dane County Humane Society. She can tell that a storm is coming when it’s two hours away! So, she needs her meds, her thundershirt and she needs understanding when it comes to getting her in her safe space. She even stayed calm when my cat brought her a mouse. None of my fur babies appeared to miss me at all! She sent me daily updates, considered each pet’s individual needs, and took good care of my home. My home is not easy to manage, but she handled it very well. My family loved the stories I shared from Brooke while I was on vacation with. I would highly for anyone’s pet sitting needs.”
About: I have been taking care of animals all my life. Growing up my parents always had dogs and cats. My best-friend growing up was my dog Samantha who just turned 15 is a sweet Belgian Mali. I work at Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation as a cook for the the Early Education Center. I work from 7am-1pm and then I am home with my dog Lyla and I enjoy going out and taking her out on walks/hikes to Fort Harrison and to the nearby parks in Lawrence. About: Growing up, I was the neighborhood dog sitter and I cared for my dogs for the past 12 years. My older dog is now 14 and my younger dog is 6 but we got her as a puppy so I got to learn all of the puppy things. I was a little nervous, because typically we ask sitters to come and stay at our house but decided that we would do a meet a greet to see how that went. Kate, Cody, Gus (dog), and Poe (cat) made our dog and us so comfortable. Gus and Kooper got along great and even though Koop has never been around cats, him and Poe were fast friends! About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have a 7 year old golden named bode. I am familiar with medication distribution and other restrictions. Bode was diagnosed with lymphoma at 5 and has been in remission for 2 years. I grew up with labs as well as shitzus and my dad has a 9 year old golden. I would prefer to meet any candidate prior to boarding as they will be in the same space as my golden, he’s a gentle giant and gets along with all animals. He is a service animal so I have experience in training and younger dogs as well. I work from home full time and have a lot of free time to give during the week. Weekends are busy for me at the moment but will slow down come winter. I work from home so week days are great I have a lot of flexibility for walks and play time and potty breaks. Very attentive and will have my golden to play with. Big grass area to play at but no fence, live in a townhome with lots of toys. Since I work from home I’m very attentive and responsive.
