About: I have a lot of experience with animals, especially cats and dogs. Growing up I had multiple rescue dogs and a cat. In addition to my own pets I regularly take care of my neighbors’ dogs. In the past I worked for Cherokee Kennels and volunteered for Shelter from the Storm and the Dane County Humane Society. I am currently working part time and would love to care for your pups and kitties in my free time. I am looking for jobs primarily in the evenings and weekends. About: I grew up on a farm, which is pretty much where my animal obsession began! I was surrounded by cows, pigs, horses, chickens, cats, dogs — basically if it had fur, feathers, or hooves, I probably helped take care of it. About: I grew up on a horse farm. I always had dogs for most of my life . Except when I lived in an apartment for a short time where I could not have one. My sister and I use to have fake dog shows as kids. It was so much fun. Now I have 2 loveable doggies of my own that i adopted . They love our fenced in backyard and my daughter and I walk them every day as a team.When Taylor was a toddler we would go out and visit grandma and aunt / sister and give chino her dog lots of love and walks. Also in the last 5 years my late moms dog rosie who was also adopted. Dogs are great.

“Phillip was a godsend and I now feel so much better about leaving on vacation in the future. My dog meatball is very large and very afraid of new people and it took us 6 meetups for him to be comfortable enough for Phillip to watch him. I felt bad asking for so much but Phillip was happy to do it and just wanted to get to know Meatball. Eventually when I did leave Meatball was more at ease than I have ever seen him with a dog sitter. Normally it takes even more meetups just for him to be scared the whole time but Meatball actually trusted Phillip which was amazing. There was an incident where Meatball rolled around in some sort of wild animal remains in the backyard and Phillip stayed extra long to clean everything up and do it in a way that didn't freak meatball out. I was amazed and will be so happy to have Phillip house sit in the future!”

I have a Chocolate Labrador named Jake that would need to come with me when house sitting. He is good with dogs and cats. I might not have a fenced yard, but there is so much space near my apartment for dogs to play and run. There is also a trail close by that I have taken my dog on, which she loves.
