Injectables (Insulin): Comfortable and practiced with administering insulin for diabetic pets, maintaining strict adherence to their schedule. Basic Medical Needs: Skilled at monitoring senior dogs or pets recovering from minor procedures, keeping a close eye on their comfort and well-being. I worked from home 3 days a week and stay close to home most weekends. I can be available mornings and evenings. Midday visits may be a little more tricky during the weekend depending on your pets needs When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priorities are safety, strict adherence to instructions, and maintaining a secure environment. I am highly attentive to household security—constantly vigilant about watching doors and preventing any potential escapes. I follow your home and pet care routines exactly as requested to maintain consistency for your pet. Throughout my stay, I closely monitor your pet's well-being and will immediately report any changes in their behavior, health, or mood, ensuring you have total peace of mind while you're away

About: I have been caring for animal since birth and currently have my own 7 year old dachshund, Pacey. I have experience with diverse breeds, shy/anxious pets, those with dietary needs and administering medical aid. I structure my day so there’s plenty of time for walks, play, and care. My schedule is flexible, which means I can adjust to each pet’s routine and keep things as close as possible to what they’re used to at home. I am available for early morning potty breaks, midday walks, or evening wind-down time. I treat the space with respect and care for pets exactly as you would. About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I'm professional trained as a dog groomer, worked professionally for over 6 years as a groomer, dog trainer and doggie daycare provider. I have also worked as a vet assistant for 2 years in Denver Colorado. I am certified in humane and dog CPR and I graduated with an EMS degree for humans, this training helps me respond to variety of situations with confidence. I was a volunteer at two different Humane Society's for over 12 years. I have fostered, rehabilitated and Rehoused 15 dogs most with serious behavioral issues. I am an avid dog lover and enjoy spending time with my dogs and other people's dogs. I can stay home full time now. I also have a full acer that is fenced and I have walking trails in the country and I still frequently go to the dog park and I am never gone more than 1-2 hours. Rover is away for me to stay home with my dogs and hopefully your dogs. My dogs LOVE having dog friends visit our pack and home.-I am a firm believer in the saying "A tired dog is a good dog".- I have been dog sitting full time for the past year and I enjoy being home all day long. I recently moved and have an acer of fenced land and I am happy to offer pick up and drop off of your pet or we can meet closer to your house. I am only about 30 mins south of Madison. I have a huge fenced yard with extra gates and separate fenced areas to do introductions safely. Dogs are NEVER left unsupervised outside. Your dog’s safety and mine dogs safety is my top priority!

“Phillip was a godsend and I now feel so much better about leaving on vacation in the future. My dog meatball is very large and very afraid of new people and it took us 6 meetups for him to be comfortable enough for Phillip to watch him. I felt bad asking for so much but Phillip was happy to do it and just wanted to get to know Meatball. Eventually when I did leave Meatball was more at ease than I have ever seen him with a dog sitter. Normally it takes even more meetups just for him to be scared the whole time but Meatball actually trusted Phillip which was amazing. There was an incident where Meatball rolled around in some sort of wild animal remains in the backyard and Phillip stayed extra long to clean everything up and do it in a way that didn't freak meatball out. I was amazed and will be so happy to have Phillip house sit in the future!”
