Whether they need high-energy playtime or a calm, comforting presence, I treat every pet like family. I am entirely comfortable and experienced with dogs who need a little extra TLC or medical management. You can travel with peace of mind knowing I can handle: Medication Administration: Experienced with oral medications, supplements, and precise topical treatments. Injectables (Insulin): Comfortable and practiced with administering insulin for diabetic pets, maintaining strict adherence to their schedule. Basic Medical Needs: Skilled at monitoring senior dogs or pets recovering from minor procedures, keeping a close eye on their comfort and well-being. I worked from home 3 days a week and stay close to home most weekends. I can be available mornings and evenings. Midday visits may be a little more tricky during the weekend depending on your pets needs When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priorities are safety, strict adherence to instructions, and maintaining a secure environment. I am highly attentive to household security—constantly vigilant about watching doors and preventing any potential escapes. I follow your home and pet care routines exactly as requested to maintain consistency for your pet. Throughout my stay, I closely monitor your pet's well-being and will immediately report any changes in their behavior, health, or mood, ensuring you have total peace of mind while you're away

About: Currently I’m work from home with a very flexible schedule. I love all animals and currently have another Vizsla named Kiwi who is 2. I used to run with my previous vizsla while I trained for marathons and triathlons. I like going for hikes and being outdoors so open to longer trips to the dog parks if preferred or just a stroll around the neighborhood. I enjoy playing with the fur buddies or snuggle up with them. My family includes 3 kids who are currently in college and all out on their own so I have extra time on my hands. About: I love dogs! I grew up with dogs, as well as have a wide range of experience with caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with disabilities. My apartment at this moment does not allow for dogs, so I really am looking for some dogs to give some tender loving care to in the meantime! About: I have grown up on a farm taking care of animals from birth to passing. I have always been a very passionate animal lover and owner. I have previously owned cats, goats, and chickens. And I have taken care of dogs, horses, turtles, and fish so I have a wide variety of knowledge. I live in Madison and work part time as an event coordinator, so my schedule varies from week to week, but generally is pretty flexible. I can do drop in visits, dog walking, and house stays during the week and weekends. I would not be able to host a pet since I live in an apartment, but I am happy to come to the house of the owner. I am able to match the animal’s needs whether that is relaxing on the couch or playing outside.

Since that time I have worked for other kennels as I have moved. I received my training certification in 2010 from Animal Behavior College and volunteered extensively at a shelter in Kansas City. HOUSE SITTING: I work from home, with appointments throughout the day so your pets won't be left alone for long. I am flexible fitting into your pets routines, watering plants, and any other up-keeps that need done while you are away. A majority of the time I work from home while having occasional appointments out of the home. This gives me plenty of flexibility to ensure that your pet gets 1:1 time and gets outside when needed. I like to follow my clients routines so their pet can predict as much as possible. My experience has given me a little bit of the super power to predict the future, which leads to me to taking extra safety steps “just in case”

About: Former member of UNC-Chapel Hill Puppy Raisers, a student-led organization that works with puppies in partnership with Ears Eyes Nose and Paws of Chapel Hill on their journey to becoming service animals. I’m currently working part time, so very flexible with the times and days that I am available to help out with your cats or dogs! “Phillip was a godsend and I now feel so much better about leaving on vacation in the future. My dog meatball is very large and very afraid of new people and it took us 6 meetups for him to be comfortable enough for Phillip to watch him. I felt bad asking for so much but Phillip was happy to do it and just wanted to get to know Meatball. Eventually when I did leave Meatball was more at ease than I have ever seen him with a dog sitter. Normally it takes even more meetups just for him to be scared the whole time but Meatball actually trusted Phillip which was amazing. There was an incident where Meatball rolled around in some sort of wild animal remains in the backyard and Phillip stayed extra long to clean everything up and do it in a way that didn't freak meatball out. I was amazed and will be so happy to have Phillip house sit in the future!”
