About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been around animals my whole life. Whether it be my home, family, or friend’s homes. All of my life we have had a pet in the home. But I’ve been around anywhere from dogs and cats to birds, horses and bearded dragons! Ive also been around dogs that can be aggressive and territorial and I did well being patient and getting them to trust me. I have a pretty set schedule! I work Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm. I tend to have free time on the weekends and during the week after work. I’ve always loved animals and have some of my own, plus going for walks is something I do already! I prefer to care for pets in the owners home since that is where they are comfortable and have their own things. It is a priority for me to keep the animal on their usual routine and keep them happy and comfortable.
About: I love dogs! I grew up with dogs, as well as have a wide range of experience with caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with disabilities. About: I grew up on a horse farm. I always had dogs for most of my life . Except when I lived in an apartment for a short time where I could not have one. My sister and I use to have fake dog shows as kids. It was so much fun. Now I have 2 loveable doggies of my own that i adopted . They love our fenced in backyard and my daughter and I walk them every day as a team.When Taylor was a toddler we would go out and visit grandma and aunt / sister and give chino her dog lots of love and walks. About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). “Phillip was a godsend and I now feel so much better about leaving on vacation in the future. My dog meatball is very large and very afraid of new people and it took us 6 meetups for him to be comfortable enough for Phillip to watch him. I felt bad asking for so much but Phillip was happy to do it and just wanted to get to know Meatball. Eventually when I did leave Meatball was more at ease than I have ever seen him with a dog sitter. Normally it takes even more meetups just for him to be scared the whole time but Meatball actually trusted Phillip which was amazing. There was an incident where Meatball rolled around in some sort of wild animal remains in the backyard and Phillip stayed extra long to clean everything up and do it in a way that didn't freak meatball out. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
