About: Friendly, warm, and welcoming. I have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to roam in my home plus a fenced in backyard. I've had dogs in the home since I was child and have been caring full-time for my dog for 7 years. I have previous experience with in-home boarding for some of my co-workers and have cared for dogs with nervous bladders. I currently work full time, but am always home in the evenings for plenty of playtime and walks. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times with at least a day's notice to work with your schedule. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam inside my home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture or in bed if they need some extra cuddle time. I can crate your dogs if needed during the day and my own pup is crate trained for while I'm away.

Before committing to a dog myself, I want to experience some of the restrictions that come with having a dog (being home immediately after work/during the day to let the dog out in normal non-Covid times, not staying out too late on the weekends, etc). About: I've been around dogs my whole life! I'm familiar with dogs of various sizes and ages, and enjoy spending time outside or inside playing with them. My own dog, Chloe, is a 13 year old little diva that keeps me on my toes. She has 3 pills twice a day and is spoiled with treats throughout the day. Although I have little "formal" dog care experience, I have interacted with dogs with many different personalities. I'm definitely not afraid to have to throw a chuck-it for an entire visit or walk a couple miles. The black lab I have sitted for in the past is very treat motivated for walks and needs to be convinced to go in the right direction. I will be writing my Master's thesis this summer, so I am extremely flexible with when I'll be able to visit and go for walks! This is a way to have some fun with dogs and take a break from reading literature and writing lots of pages! When completing visits and picking up for walks, I will make sure that I am on time and I enter the residence calmly and slowly, especially for the first time! When in your home, I will only use what you ask me to, and not go in any rooms not approved. I'm there to play with your pup, not have a tour - it's your personal space. If your dog is crated, I will make sure that they return to the crate before leaving. I will make sure to double check that doors are properly locked again before leaving. For walks, I'll go whatever route your pup is most used to. I know switching it up isn't ideal for some dogs - my dog, Chloe has only one route she will walk in our neighborhood. I'll let your dogs set the pace, and sniff all the smells! That's how pups see the world! I'm not afraid to walk in rain, but of course, storms are a no-go. I'll make sure that I have a water bowl and bottle for your pup, especially as it gets warm this summer.

I have a very large dog of my own and am extremely confident in my ability to control the largest of dogs. So size is no problem for me! I also have experience taking care of other animals as well, so don't hesitate to ask! I would be glad to help you with any and all your pets. I have taken some dog training classes and am still seeking more knowledge, so rest assured that I am receiving all the tools I need to be the best care provider for your pet. I am currently between jobs and have lots of time to spend on pet care. My Saturday mornings and early afternoons can be a little taken up, but I can work around that. I personally have a fenced in yard for my dogs. They get three meals a day and outside access whenever they please. Someone is always home with them. The cats are indoor only and free feed. I take my dogs for walks regularly and we like to play often throughout the day.
About: I have experience with young and old dogs, as well as old and young cats. I have been taking care of pets since I was 10, and I can administer medication to both cats and dogs! I work during the week, but I am free in the evening and early morning. I can do most weekends as well, but when I go back to school I will have less availability on the weekends. I will do my best to follow considerations provided by the owner, like keeping a dog away from other dogs, etc. I will diligently follow instructions and ask questions if clarification is needed as well, to give the best care.
