Tuesdays and every other Sunday I'm available afternoon. That could potentially change if more work comes in. I am an energetic person so I love to walk/run with dogs, but I also enjoy cuddling up and just giving them loving! At this time, there are no animals of my own in the house. I'm definitely not afraid to have to throw a chuck-it for an entire visit or walk a couple miles. The black lab I have sitted for in the past is very treat motivated for walks and needs to be convinced to go in the right direction. I will be writing my Master's thesis this summer, so I am extremely flexible with when I'll be able to visit and go for walks! This is a way to have some fun with dogs and take a break from reading literature and writing lots of pages! When completing visits and picking up for walks, I will make sure that I am on time and I enter the residence calmly and slowly, especially for the first time! When in your home, I will only use what you ask me to, and not go in any rooms not approved. I'm there to play with your pup, not have a tour - it's your personal space. If your dog is crated, I will make sure that they return to the crate before leaving. I will make sure to double check that doors are properly locked again before leaving. For walks, I'll go whatever route your pup is most used to. I know switching it up isn't ideal for some dogs - my dog, Chloe has only one route she will walk in our neighborhood. I'll let your dogs set the pace, and sniff all the smells! That's how pups see the world! I'm not afraid to walk in rain, but of course, storms are a no-go. I'll make sure that I have a water bowl and bottle for your pup, especially as it gets warm this summer.

About: We are a family looking to host short term visits and love on puppies so my kids can experience taking care of dogs without the longterm commitment. We are a homeschooling family that have capacity to learn responsibility being supervised and give so much attention to puppies who need a place to stay while you travel! The intention of hosting your family pet is that they will be apart of our family while they stay with us and be loved and taken care of well instead of being kenneled.

About: My name is Gina. I have pet sat and worked in doggy daycares for several years. I enjoy the reprieve of being around and interacting with animals. I have lived with cats growing up and currently reside with dogs. I try to cater to their specific needs as I know each animal is different. I provide affection, exercise and care with walks, play toy/fetch, cuddle/pet, feedings, and I make sure to leave the area as clean as when I arrived. I am playful and will get down and silly with them on their level. I am also respectful of coming into their home/domain. They get to check me out first for approval and allow me into their space. I also specialize in pet photography and love bringing my camera along to capture sweet and special moments.

I stay in your home for the full sit, keeping your pets in their own space with their familiar routines, smells, and comfort. No disruption, no transport — just consistent care in the environment they already trust.
About: I grew up with two dogs and have owned guinea pigs for the last 6 years. I volunteer with a shelter where I walk and play with dogs. I also foster dogs with my rescue but do not currently have a foster. I currently work a full time job. I am available for lunchtime walks or enrichment. I am available during the evenings and weekends to care for your dog whether that’s walks, enrichment, or overnight sitting. I’m currently living in an apartment so any sitting would need to occur at your home! I can easily follow any directions you have to ensure your furry friend is well cared for.
