About: I love dogs and I would love to help out anyone who needs extra support with their pets during the day while they are away from home. I’m currently working part time so I have lots of time during the day to play with and walk your pets! Reach out to verify my availability. I treat every client’s home with the same respect I would expect in my own. I’m mindful of privacy, keep spaces clean and secure, and stick closely to the pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.
“Sara is wonderful with our dog Zoey. She is reliable, friendly, and a great communicator. She walks our dog daily during the weekdays and her service has been a tremendous help so Zoey is happy and comfortable during our long days at work and school. We give Sara our highest recommendation.”

About: I love dogs! Let me cuddle and love your dog while you’re away! I love to stay active outside and take walks/jogs outdoors. Before committing to a dog myself, I want to experience some of the restrictions that come with having a dog (being home immediately after work/during the day to let the dog out in normal non-Covid times, not staying out too late on the weekends, etc). Hopefully I can use Rover to get my dog fix until I’m able to make the decision to get my own dog. I have severe cat allergies and am allergic to some large dogs, which is why I favor small dogs. I prefer non-shedding dogs to keep my allergies in check. Reach out if you have questions!
About: My name is Gina. I have pet sat and worked in doggy daycares for several years. I enjoy the reprieve of being around and interacting with animals. I have lived with cats growing up and currently reside with dogs. I try to cater to their specific needs as I know each animal is different. I provide affection, exercise and care with walks, play toy/fetch, cuddle/pet, feedings, and I make sure to leave the area as clean as when I arrived. I am playful and will get down and silly with them on their level. I am also respectful of coming into their home/domain. They get to check me out first for approval and allow me into their space. I also specialize in pet photography and love bringing my camera along to capture sweet and special moments.
About: I have grown up on a mini sheep farm which we shown and exhibited all of these animals including chickens, ducks, rabbits and sheep at the local fair. And of course we had a guard dog to protect our animals. I have dog sit multiple times before by just helping out my friends and family, now I am excited to meet some new pets! I am a UWSP student with long breaks in between semesters. During the breaks I come back home to visit my family and to work. Each week is a little bit different for me, but I will always have time for your pets! One of my favorite things to do with pets (mostly dogs), is to take them on a walk and enjoy the nice outside with them!
About: I’ve been helping care for my families dogs since I was little, doing things such as cleaning up after their messes, giving them their meds, taking them on walks, and simply just spending time with them and giving them the interaction they need. I’m currently looking for a part time job aside from Rover, so I’ll have as much time as needed to come help care for your pets! Nearly anytime of the day, I can come over and walk your pets, feed them, clean up their areas, or just simply spend some time with them. I’m able to come over nearly anytime and watch your pets, feed them, clean them, or whatever you need! I can give them meds, crate them, walk them, etc.
About: Hi! I’ve always had a huge love for animals and honestly can’t imagine life without them. I worked at PetSmart for 3 years as a Pet Care Associate, where I cared for all kinds of animals — from dogs and bunnies to lizards and other small pets. That experience taught me so much about animal behavior, patience, and making pets feel comfortable and cared for. I also know the doggy Heimlich maneuver, so your pet’s safety is always something I take seriously. I grew up surrounded by pets and now have two of my own as an adult, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or just a calm comforting presence, I’ll always treat them like one of my own ❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle because animals are truly what I love spending my time around 🐾 I work 8–4 in Wisconsin Dells, and outside of work, caring for animals is honestly my favorite way to spend my free time. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping pets company, it never feels like a chore to me — it’s something I genuinely enjoy ❤️ I’ve always grown up with pets and currently have two of my own, so caring for animals has always been part of my daily life. I love creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away 🐶🐱 When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s home—I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and sticking closely to their normal routine 🐾 In my own home, I care for my two pets daily by making sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, playtime, walks when needed, and a calm, clean environment. I really treat them like part of my family, and their well-being is a big part of my everyday life. When caring for a client’s pets, I bring that same level of care and consistency. I follow instructions closely, maintain feeding and potty routines, give lots of love and attention based on each pet’s personality, and always prioritize safety. I also pay attention to behavior and comfort so pets feel as relaxed as possible while their owners are away. With my experience working at PetSmart and years of caring for animals in both personal and professional settings, I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds and always aim to make them feel secure, loved, and at home!
About: I have 2 dogs of my own. Also I have experience with older dogs and puppies. I love all animals! I'm not scared of much either! I currently work part time. So I'm pretty open. Tuesdays and every other Sunday I'm available afternoon. That could potentially change if more work comes in. I care for my pets by taking them to the dog park twice a week making sure they have food and water. Also making sure they are utd on their shots. For taking care of your pet tho that would go off of how you would want me to take care of your animals. You are the owner. I'm just there to help you out and take care of your animals.
About: I'm a genuine animal lover who treats every home and pet as if they were my own. Whether you have an energetic puppy, a senior dog needing extra care, a shy pup who takes time to warm up, or a small apartment with a feisty terrier — I show up prepared, patient, and attentive. My priority is making sure your pets are happy and your home is respected, so you can travel with real peace of mind. I welcome meet-and-greets beforehand, communicate throughout the stay, and always leave your home just as I found it. Pet sitting is my primary focus when I take a sit — I'm not squeezing it in around a busy schedule. Your pets get my full attention, not leftover time. I stay in your home for the full sit, keeping your pets in their own space with their familiar routines, smells, and comfort. No disruption, no transport — just consistent care in the environment they already trust.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, from very young to end of life care. Taking care of animals and bonding with them is such a special thing, and I would love to help aid dogs lives through proper exercise! Going into college in the fall and will have a part time job soon; I have plenty of free time to work around with and will be very flexible with my schedule. I currently have one cat (around 3) and one dog (around 10) who I love very much. My dog is getting a little too old to go on longer walks with me so I think this will be a great opportunity to help younger dogs get that exercise in. I’m very easy to talk to and flexible and would be happy to make sure your animal has water after the walk/ a treat and will provide doggy bags for bathroom needs.

“Our pups loved her! She truly did a wonderful job! She was very responsible and timely as well as catered to our pups and paid attention to their needs. Overall she was very professional and communicated everything really well! Would definitely recommend her 😊”

About: We are a family looking to host short term visits and love on puppies so my kids can experience taking care of dogs without the longterm commitment. We are a homeschooling family that have capacity to learn responsibility being supervised and give so much attention to puppies who need a place to stay while you travel! The intention of hosting your family pet is that they will be apart of our family while they stay with us and be loved and taken care of well instead of being kenneled.

About: I have experience working at Paw Pals taking care of cats and dogs. I have also raised and cared for hamsters, horses, birds and bunnys. I'm currently working part-time to only care for animals so I have plenty of time for your animals! Let me know when you need me and I will be there! They will get the time they need. ❤️ Your pet will have the whole downstairs to themselves and lots of play space. I have two friendly cats that are willing to be friends with your pets but they will be upstairs. About: I currently volunteer for a dog rescue organization. I have several years of experience training dogs and know how to read dog's cues for aggression, anxiety, and fear. I love walking and training dogs. I won't fetch, but I'll play fetch for hours if your dog desires! I give treats minimally and praise maximally! I'm open to using whatever method you're used to for training your dog. I use a prong collar with my pooch on walks, and know how to properly adjust the fit so the collar sits comfortably on the dog's neck. I own my own home, and have plenty of leashes, collars, and toys to occupy your pooch and make them feel like they've won the dog lottery. I'm mostly available on weekends, and work during the week with some flexibility. I'm situated in Verona near the Westside of Madison!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
