This was our first time using Rover and leaving Toffee with someone we didn’t know, so we were definitely nervous at first. Toffee had the absolute best time running around in her huge backyard, playing with her kids and her two dogs, and getting so much love and attention. I use a prong collar with my pooch on walks, and know how to properly adjust the fit so the collar sits comfortably on the dog's neck. I own my own home, and have plenty of leashes, collars, and toys to occupy your pooch and make them feel like they've won the dog lottery. I'm mostly available on weekends, and work during the week with some flexibility. I'm situated in Verona near the Westside of Madison!

About: All my life, I have been surrounded by animals whether it be hamsters, fish, chickens, horses, cats, dogs, and more! I have raised two puppies and know everything that goes into their care, and I have also taken care of senior dogs. I have done special treatments such as arthritis treatments and administered medications. Not only that, but I have also trained dogs! My current dog is in training to become a medical alert dog and my older dog was a retired service dog. I have cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds. The only dogs that I restrict are human aggressive dogs but other than that, I take any size and any breed! My services include not only dogs but your precious kitties as well. Your pets are like family to me and will be treated with care up to your high standards. Each morning when I wake up my dog gets taken for a walk, fed, we train, and we play. We do puzzle toys and play in the afternoon, then after work we do our evening walk, play time, and training session. At work, I care for clients large animals. My days consist of caring for animals and I absolutely love it! I have spent my life caring for animals and will never stop. My home is filled with treats, training equipment, agility equipment, puzzle toys, chews, and everything in between! Anything your baby needs to be fulfilled, I have. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I do have long lines. Animals in my care are never left outside or out of a kennel unsupervised. Your pets safety is my number one priority! I also have crates if needed. In clients homes, I will provide the service that was purchased in the most fulfilled and enriching way possible to your furry family member. “Gilian was an amazing choice for boarding my dog! First we did a meet and greet at a local dog park, and then welcomed my dog to her home for a week+ of boarding. My anxious pup felt comfortable here after a couple days, and was well cared for. We can't do boarding kennels because of my dog's anxiety, so I'm so glad we found this service! I got updates daily about activities and behavior, as well as photos and videos! Gilian is knowledgeable handling anxious dogs, and she has good techniques on introducing dogs to new environments, dogs and people to help ease anxiety. I highly recommend Gilian!”
