We have experience volunteering at the Humane Society and fostering dogs for local rescue organizations for over two years. My dog, Radley, has played with many different types of dogs through daycare and fostering, so he will be your dog's best friend when he/she visits. We frequently take the dogs to dog parks, go out on walks, and enjoy playing with them in our fenced in backyard. We would be happy to take dogs out on a run if they are familiar/ comfortable with running alongside. **Any activities involving other dogs will be based on your permission** Boarding: I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run around in. My dog. Radley, is kennel trained for overnight stays and I have a designated room for the dogs to sleep in. Dogs are also allowed on the bed/furniture if that is what they are most comfortable with. I am currently working from home, so I am able to watch your dog for most of the day outside of running occasional errands. My house can be gated off in rooms for dogs that require more attention. I have a fenced in backyard, separate kennels, and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. There are always plenty of treats and toys around to keep your companion comfortable while you are away.

While we don't have any pets of our own right now our most recent best friend was a rescue Maltipoo who required special care and I truly adored taking care of her. The black lab I have sitted for in the past is very treat motivated for walks and needs to be convinced to go in the right direction. I will be writing my Master's thesis this summer, so I am extremely flexible with when I'll be able to visit and go for walks! This is a way to have some fun with dogs and take a break from reading literature and writing lots of pages! When completing visits and picking up for walks, I will make sure that I am on time and I enter the residence calmly and slowly, especially for the first time! When in your home, I will only use what you ask me to, and not go in any rooms not approved. I'm there to play with your pup, not have a tour - it's your personal space. If your dog is crated, I will make sure that they return to the crate before leaving. I will make sure to double check that doors are properly locked again before leaving. For walks, I'll go whatever route your pup is most used to. I know switching it up isn't ideal for some dogs - my dog, Chloe has only one route she will walk in our neighborhood. I'll let your dogs set the pace, and sniff all the smells! That's how pups see the world! I'm not afraid to walk in rain, but of course, storms are a no-go. I'll make sure that I have a water bowl and bottle for your pup, especially as it gets warm this summer.

I have taken some dog training classes and am still seeking more knowledge, so rest assured that I am receiving all the tools I need to be the best care provider for your pet. I am currently between jobs and have lots of time to spend on pet care. My Saturday mornings and early afternoons can be a little taken up, but I can work around that. I personally have a fenced in yard for my dogs. They get three meals a day and outside access whenever they please. Someone is always home with them. The cats are indoor only and free feed. I take my dogs for walks regularly and we like to play often throughout the day.
