About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I'm professional trained as a dog groomer, worked professionally for over 6 years as a groomer, dog trainer and doggie daycare provider. I have also worked as a vet assistant for 2 years in Denver Colorado. I am certified in humane and dog CPR and I graduated with an EMS degree for humans, this training helps me respond to variety of situations with confidence. I was a volunteer at two different Humane Society's for over 12 years. I have fostered, rehabilitated and Rehoused 15 dogs most with serious behavioral issues. I am an avid dog lover and enjoy spending time with my dogs and other people's dogs. I can stay home full time now. I also have a full acer that is fenced and I have walking trails in the country and I still frequently go to the dog park and I am never gone more than 1-2 hours. Rover is away for me to stay home with my dogs and hopefully your dogs. My dogs LOVE having dog friends visit our pack and home.-I am a firm believer in the saying "A tired dog is a good dog".- I have been dog sitting full time for the past year and I enjoy being home all day long. I recently moved and have an acer of fenced land and I am happy to offer pick up and drop off of your pet or we can meet closer to your house. I am only about 30 mins south of Madison. I have a huge fenced yard with extra gates and separate fenced areas to do introductions safely. Dogs are NEVER left unsupervised outside. Your dog’s safety and mine dogs safety is my top priority!

About: I grew up with five dogs. I worked at a dog daycare for the past 6 months. While I worked there, I gave them enrichment, affection, cleaned up poop from the yards, and supervised dogs to make sure they played safely. I am free any time on the weekends. I will be getting a new job so I'm not 100% sure what my weekday hours are going to be like as of right now. I will be taking care of clients' pets in their own home or yard because we live in an apartment and also have three cats.

About: I've been around animals my whole life, and I can't imaging existing without them. Animals should be cherished, and I'm excited to share that love with your animals. In high school, I started working at an animal shelter, and it was one of my favorite jobs. I worked with cats, dogs, small animals (rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc), reptiles -- even a pig! Many of them came in angry or scared and I quickly learned the patience and gentleness needed to bond with this vulnerable group. I cultivated other skills as well, including providing enrichment, cleaning their spaces (including animals dealing with various illnesses), meeting dietary needs, grooming, and ensuring safety (animal-animal interactions, animal-person interactions, general safety). I've since moved on from that job, but I have been looking for ways to integrate animal care back into my life. I'd love to do drop in visits, whether thats because you work long hours or are out of town for work or vacation. I adore playing and snuggling with cats (or even just being in the same room as them - especially if theyre shy or a little fiesty with strangers). I'm comfortable walking dogs or letting them out in the yard to run around and play, cleaning up after pets, basic grooming, or just spending a few hours with them and providing enrichment. I am also comfortable with most animals and any age! If there are specific needs your (fur)baby has, I'm more than happy to accommodate. I work two jobs in mental health care, both with flexible hours that change week-to-week. I often have time between client visits or jobs, and am available on weekends. Overall availability ranges from 7am - 8pm. I can't do overnight stays or have other animals in my home, as it would be too stressful on my own cat. Between Oct. 1st and Nov. 15 or so, I will have more availability, since my jobs will be virtual while I recover from shoulder surgery. I dont anticipate having many issues with being able to care for animals during this recovery, and I can discuss this further with folks if need be. About: I grew up around pets and always loved them. All through undergrad and graduate school, I have been a pet sitter and house sitter. Once I was done and could finally get a pet of my own, I got one frenchie… and the other followed just a few short months later. My puppies are my whole world, and they LOVE having new friends! I work full-time from home, and have a fenced backyard! Our house gets lots of natural light which means sunny naps indoors when it’s chilly. I take our pups on at least one long walk a day, and plenty of playtime inside and outside. I have a fenced yard and lots of open space in the home. My two Frenchies LOVE all dogs - for playing and snuggling during the day. I love hanging out on the couch with our pups and relaxing, going for nice walks when weather permits, and lots of play with toys and balls!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I have had a family dog since I was little, that I had to feed, walk, and bathe. I also took care other family members and friends pets. I have taken care of dogs as small as Papillions and as big as Mastiffs. I work part time as a Nursing Assistant , so I have a lot of time to take care of pets. I hope to work with animals on my days off! I feed, brush, bathe, and play with clients pets! It’s very important to me that pets are taken care of properly. I like to take my time working with pets, so there are comfortable with me!

About: My very first job was working at a family owned boarding and grooming kennel. I started when I was 14 years old and worked there through college. In between that, I've pet sat for several family members and friends. I work full time as a second shift (3:00 pm - 11pm) 911 dispatcher. I'd love to do some evening or early morning walks to start and would like to expand into pet sitting as my schedule allows. I have preference to pet sitting at the clients home because my roommates dog is a bit fickle on who she gets along with. Plus I own a cat and I know not every dog likes cats. As a pet sitter, I intend to take your dog for regular walks in addition to normal outside play time. I can work with your dog on any ongoing training you have with them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from a very young age! I’ve had them all my life. Experience include energetic puppies to senior pup needs ( medications, etc). About: I work at a doggy daycare as both a dog attendant in the daycare setting and a receptionist. As a daycare attendant, I work with dogs big and small to tend to their needs while monitoring their behavior to ensure they are in a safe and healthy environment! As a receptionist, I work with clients when it comes to taking care of their questions about their dogs, I work with vaccination files, and I am certified to administer medication to the animals. I prepare meals, take care of dogs who do not go into daycare, do hourly cleaning, and work to ensure their is adequate communication between staff. I also have had dogs my entire life, including my family and I fostering and rehabilitating dogs that come from traumatic situations. I currently work 3 days a week, two week day evenings and one weekend day. I graduate high school in early June, so this summer I will be available very often to meet pet care needs. I am available to do overnights, days, and even just check ins for your pets! On nights that I work, I am available after 8-9pm(just depending on when I get off of work)! I work very hard to establish trust with, not only families, but pets as well! I work with dogs for my job, so it is important to me that I know warning signs and body language of an animal in order to best fit their needs. If I am in someone's home, I will respect the space given to me when trusted to properly care for someone's animal/s. I also respect the space of an animal, meaning that if they are making it clear that they do not want affection or for me to me in their space, I will respect that unless it is absolutely necessary for me to push that boundary (feeding, nail trims, etc.)

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was born and my grandparents volunteered for a dog rescue shelter in Eagle River, WI. I am also studying to become a mental health therapist and work with elderly, children, and those with intellectual disabilities. I believe have lots of soft skills from this experience that the animals like! During the semester I will be busy from roughly 9am-3pm, but outside of that I am very flexible for hours! My main job requires at most 3 hour sessions. I care for pets as if they were royalty! They are one of the biggest sources of joy in my life and I just couldn’t imagine not pampering them.

About: I’ve cared for cats for 3 years and have been a devoted parent to a monk parakeet and guinea pigs and two orange cats. Since childhood, I’ve looked after hamsters, gaining experience with different animal personalities and needs. I’m a full-time employee, but my schedule is flexible. I’m available on weekends, as well as before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. on weekdays for pet care. About: I think something, I can proudly say is that I have people meet me once and trust me to watch their pets. I’ve had pets and I have taken care of friends and families pets since I was 12. The initial meeting with your pet, getting familiar and making sure the pet feels like they can trust their caretaker is crucial. That establish trust between caretaker and pet, allows me to ensure the best case scenario for your pet. Whether it be, trusting you on a walk or worse case scenario luring your pet from under the bed or loosing the lead for a second. I offer comfort of house sitting or walking your pet to ensure their routine is uninterrupted. :)
