About: I’m a school counselor (on hiatus) stay at home mom. I take pride in providing peace of mind for people during their travel. I have 30+ years of experience pet sitting (starting when I was 8), with 15 of those years being professional dog handling when I used to help raise and train guide dogs for blind people. I have a friendly dog that loves to host guests. He adapts his play style to each dog; if they want to run around, he wants to be chased. If they don’t feel like playing, he will give space. Like many resident male dogs, he often feels uncomfortable with large breed adolescent males, particularly intact. I will make decisions on a case by case basis regarding adolescent males. I do require dogs be crated when unattended in my home for their safety and comfort. We can discuss your dog’s unique needs. Please be sure your animals are up to date on vaccinations and preventative meds (flea/tick and heartworm). What can I offer? I can board your dog (or pet!) at my home or do home visits. I’m experienced in smalls like cats, pocket pets, and birds. I have even cared for people’s hobby farms (horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, etc). I have a fenced yard. I’ve adopted 4 Rottweilers in the past with unique behavior issues and fostered many other breeds so I’m used to handling all types of dogs, including those who need a little time to settle in. I’m home during the day. Your dog becomes part of my “pack”, built around their comfort level. I have one pet dog, two small kids and two teen step daughters. Sometimes I have other boarded dogs but I’ll always confirm with both dogs’ families before I book an overlap. I won’t book a dog if they aren’t a good match for someone already booked. For home visits. My 2 littles tag along with me. Unless I can get my partner to take them after work hours. I put your pets needs as a priority, so if your pet isn’t fond of children, I won’t let my kids bug them. My home has backyard access with a fence (4 foot tall chain link and 6 foot tall privacy fence along the road side). If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/raised over 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues with dogs getting loose or scuffling. Sitting in your home: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty. I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard and spend some time with them in your home.

About: I have had dogs and cats while growing up and I currently work at a dog boarding facility where I work with dogs or cats, seniors, puppies, and animals with medical conditions! I am looking to provide house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking! Depending on the day, I usually have full availability and keep my calendar updated. Currently, I work part time at a pet boarding facility, and I am also working on obtaining my real estate license. This means that I have plenty of free time during the day and have most weekends available! In my home, I currently take care of my 3 cats and our new puppy. I play with them whenever I get the chance. At my work, I take care of dogs and cats and always make sure they are getting active during the day and make sure they stay in good health!

About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I'm professional trained as a dog groomer, worked professionally for over 6 years as a groomer, dog trainer and doggie daycare provider. I have also worked as a vet assistant for 2 years in Denver Colorado. I am certified in humane and dog CPR and I graduated with an EMS degree for humans, this training helps me respond to variety of situations with confidence. I was a volunteer at two different Humane Society's for over 12 years. I have fostered, rehabilitated and Rehoused 15 dogs most with serious behavioral issues. I am an avid dog lover and enjoy spending time with my dogs and other people's dogs. I can stay home full time now. I also have a full acer that is fenced and I have walking trails in the country and I still frequently go to the dog park and I am never gone more than 1-2 hours. Rover is away for me to stay home with my dogs and hopefully your dogs. My dogs LOVE having dog friends visit our pack and home.-I am a firm believer in the saying "A tired dog is a good dog".- I have been dog sitting full time for the past year and I enjoy being home all day long. I recently moved and have an acer of fenced land and I am happy to offer pick up and drop off of your pet or we can meet closer to your house. I am only about 30 mins south of Madison. I have a huge fenced yard with extra gates and separate fenced areas to do introductions safely. Dogs are NEVER left unsupervised outside. Your dog’s safety and mine dogs safety is my top priority!

About: Dogs are my favorite people - I attract dogs wherever I go. I have owned two dogs in my adult life-English Bulldog and Goldendoodle. Currently, I have a 10 year old goldendoodle. She loves everyone. I am a teacher and have off during the summer. I enjoy hiking, camping, biking, running, reading, gardening, and cooking. I’m currently on summer break, so my days are very flexible. During the school year, I am available before 7am or after 4pm. I have a very friendly goldendoodle. I have a big yard. About: 🦮I’ve taken care of family dogs, cats, fish and more since I was a kid! 🌿I am an avid hiker and walker! We can explore local parks, Madison beaches, run around and be crazy, meet some new friends in the wild, keep to ourselves, or sniff the same spot of grass for 10 minutes! 👵🏻 I’ve taken care of puppies, grandma/grandpa dogs, large dogs, small dogs, dogs who are on a diet, and dogs of various breeds (boxers, pit bulls, german shepards, etc.) I’m currently working full time but have availability on weekends and week nights! About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have three dogs of my own, all with very different personalities and needs. I’ve put a lot of time into training and creating a successful multidog household, which has given me experience with everything from basic obedience and leash manners to reactivity, resource guarding and special-needs dogs. I’m comfortable following established routines, using the training methods and equipment your dog is accustomed to, and adjusting my approach based on each individual dog. I understand that not every dog is a social butterfly, and I’m happy to give dogs the space, patience and structure they need to feel comfortable. Most importantly, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to trust someone else with your dog. I’ll care for yours with the same attention and respect I expect for my own. As a registered nurse, I’m dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable following specific care and medication instructions. I am not only certified in human CPR but also Red Cross Dog/Cat/Pet CPR and first aide certified. I’m also used to communicating clearly, so you can expect plenty of updates while your dog is in my care I’m an RN with a rotating schedule, which gives me several days off during the week and plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. On my days off, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime and plenty of attention! I am home most of the time and my husband works from home so someone will usually be here. With the occasional instances of going out a few hours at a time. We do keep our dogs crated while we are gone and have cameras on the kennel/dog room to keep an eye on them. I know every dog has their own routine, personality and comfort level. I’m happy to follow your established routine and any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, crates or training. I have experience with multidog households, reactive dogs and special-needs dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my approach to what makes your dog feel safest and most comfortable. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away

About: I'm usually always the go-to person when it comes to caring for family and friends pets when they go out of town and I absolutely love it! As a college student I don't have much time to have my own companion right now, but being able to have the responsibility for short periods of time fills up my doggy bucket :) I'm currently in college, so my schedule can be more flexible. Pet care allows me to still work during the school year while having flexibility to work when I’m able and to still put much of my attention towards school. In-home pet care to me involves maintaining routines through consistent feeding, exercise, and health monitoring. About: I am 37 and have worked professionally with dogs for 10 years during my 20s. I began working in a boarding and daycare facility when I was 18. Since that time I have worked for other kennels as I have moved. I received my training certification in 2010 from Animal Behavior College and volunteered extensively at a shelter in Kansas City. I have volunteered with numerous rescue groups providing training and foster homes along with many boarding facilities. I love pet sitting and getting the opportunity to make a animals happy while their parents are away- all the rewards of being the fun aunt :) Experience with pets who have medications/diabetes/special needs. HOUSE SITTING: I work from home, with appointments throughout the day so your pets won't be left alone for long. I am flexible fitting into your pets routines, watering plants, and any other up-keeps that need done while you are away. A majority of the time I work from home while having occasional appointments out of the home. This gives me plenty of flexibility to ensure that your pet gets 1:1 time and gets outside when needed. I like to follow my clients routines so their pet can predict as much as possible. My experience has given me a little bit of the super power to predict the future, which leads to me to taking extra safety steps “just in case”
