About: I’m a school counselor (on hiatus) stay at home mom. I take pride in providing peace of mind for people during their travel. I have 30+ years of experience pet sitting (starting when I was 8), with 15 of those years being professional dog handling when I used to help raise and train guide dogs for blind people. I have a friendly dog that loves to host guests. He adapts his play style to each dog; if they want to run around, he wants to be chased. If they don’t feel like playing, he will give space. Like many resident male dogs, he often feels uncomfortable with large breed adolescent males, particularly intact. I will make decisions on a case by case basis regarding adolescent males. I do require dogs be crated when unattended in my home for their safety and comfort. We can discuss your dog’s unique needs. Please be sure your animals are up to date on vaccinations and preventative meds (flea/tick and heartworm). What can I offer? I can board your dog (or pet!) at my home or do home visits. I’m experienced in smalls like cats, pocket pets, and birds. I have even cared for people’s hobby farms (horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, etc). I have a fenced yard. I’ve adopted 4 Rottweilers in the past with unique behavior issues and fostered many other breeds so I’m used to handling all types of dogs, including those who need a little time to settle in. I’m home during the day. Your dog becomes part of my “pack”, built around their comfort level. I have one pet dog, two small kids and two teen step daughters. Sometimes I have other boarded dogs but I’ll always confirm with both dogs’ families before I book an overlap. I won’t book a dog if they aren’t a good match for someone already booked. For home visits. My 2 littles tag along with me. Unless I can get my partner to take them after work hours. I put your pets needs as a priority, so if your pet isn’t fond of children, I won’t let my kids bug them. My home has backyard access with a fence (4 foot tall chain link and 6 foot tall privacy fence along the road side). If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/raised over 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues with dogs getting loose or scuffling. Sitting in your home: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty. I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard and spend some time with them in your home.

About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I'm professional trained as a dog groomer, worked professionally for over 6 years as a groomer, dog trainer and doggie daycare provider. I have also worked as a vet assistant for 2 years in Denver Colorado. I am certified in humane and dog CPR and I graduated with an EMS degree for humans, this training helps me respond to variety of situations with confidence. I was a volunteer at two different Humane Society's for over 12 years. I have fostered, rehabilitated and Rehoused 15 dogs most with serious behavioral issues. I am an avid dog lover and enjoy spending time with my dogs and other people's dogs. I can stay home full time now. I also have a full acer that is fenced and I have walking trails in the country and I still frequently go to the dog park and I am never gone more than 1-2 hours. Rover is away for me to stay home with my dogs and hopefully your dogs. My dogs LOVE having dog friends visit our pack and home.-I am a firm believer in the saying "A tired dog is a good dog".- I have been dog sitting full time for the past year and I enjoy being home all day long. I recently moved and have an acer of fenced land and I am happy to offer pick up and drop off of your pet or we can meet closer to your house. I am only about 30 mins south of Madison. I have a huge fenced yard with extra gates and separate fenced areas to do introductions safely. Dogs are NEVER left unsupervised outside. Your dog’s safety and mine dogs safety is my top priority!

About: I have had dogs and cats while growing up and I currently work at a dog boarding facility where I work with dogs or cats with all different kinds of personalities and needs! I am looking to provide house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking! Depending on the day, I usually have full availability and keep my calendar updated. During the months of June and July, I babysit half days so I am looking to do drop-ins or dog walks either in the morning or afternoon! During August, I will be available during weekends and in September, I start online college so I will be available most days! In my home, I currently take care of my 3 cats. About: Dogs are my favorite people - I attract dogs wherever I go. I have owned two dogs in my adult life-English Bulldog and Goldendoodle. Currently, I have a 10 year old goldendoodle. She loves everyone. I am a teacher and have off during the summer. I enjoy hiking, camping, biking, running, reading, gardening, and cooking. I’m currently on summer break, so my days are very flexible. During the school year, I am available before 7am or after 4pm. I have a very friendly goldendoodle. I have a big yard. I am willing to provide lots of love, playtime, and walks for your dog. I can be active with your pet or sit with them and love them up. Whatever you need, I can provide.

About: I grew up with five dogs. I worked at a dog daycare for the past 6 months. While I worked there, I gave them enrichment, affection, cleaned up poop from the yards, and supervised dogs to make sure they played safely. I am free any time on the weekends. I will be getting a new job so I'm not 100% sure what my weekday hours are going to be like as of right now. I will be taking care of clients' pets in their own home or yard because we live in an apartment and also have three cats.

About: I grew up around pets and always loved them. All through undergrad and graduate school, I have been a pet sitter and house sitter. Once I was done and could finally get a pet of my own, I got one frenchie… and the other followed just a few short months later. My puppies are my whole world, and they LOVE having new friends! I work full-time from home, and have a fenced backyard! Our house gets lots of natural light which means sunny naps indoors when it’s chilly. I take our pups on at least one long walk a day, and plenty of playtime inside and outside. I have a fenced yard and lots of open space in the home. My two Frenchies LOVE all dogs - for playing and snuggling during the day. I love hanging out on the couch with our pups and relaxing, going for nice walks when weather permits, and lots of play with toys and balls!

About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.

In high school, I started working at an animal shelter, and it was one of my favorite jobs. I worked with cats, dogs, small animals (rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc), reptiles -- even a pig! Many of them came in angry or scared and I quickly learned the patience and gentleness needed to bond with this vulnerable group. I cultivated other skills as well, including providing enrichment, cleaning their spaces (including animals dealing with various illnesses), meeting dietary needs, grooming, and ensuring safety (animal-animal interactions, animal-person interactions, general safety). I've since moved on from that job, but I have been looking for ways to integrate animal care back into my life. I'd love to do drop in visits, whether thats because you work long hours or are out of town for work or vacation. I adore playing and snuggling with cats (or even just being in the same room as them - especially if theyre shy or a little fiesty with strangers). I'm comfortable walking dogs or letting them out in the yard to run around and play, cleaning up after pets, basic grooming, or just spending a few hours with them and providing enrichment. I am also comfortable with most animals and any age! If there are specific needs your (fur)baby has, I'm more than happy to accommodate. I work two jobs in mental health care, both with flexible hours that change week-to-week. I often have time between client visits or jobs, and am available on weekends. Overall availability ranges from 7am - 8pm. I can't do overnight stays or have other animals in my home, as it would be too stressful on my own cat. Between Oct. 1st and Nov. 15 or so, I will have more availability, since my jobs will be virtual while I recover from shoulder surgery. I dont anticipate having many issues with being able to care for animals during this recovery, and I can discuss this further with folks if need be. About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I have had a family dog since I was little, that I had to feed, walk, and bathe. I also took care other family members and friends pets. I have taken care of dogs as small as Papillions and as big as Mastiffs. I work part time as a Nursing Assistant , so I have a lot of time to take care of pets. I hope to work with animals on my days off! I feed, brush, bathe, and play with clients pets! It’s very important to me that pets are taken care of properly. I like to take my time working with pets, so there are comfortable with me!

About: My very first job was working at a family owned boarding and grooming kennel. I started when I was 14 years old and worked there through college. In between that, I've pet sat for several family members and friends. I work full time as a second shift (3:00 pm - 11pm) 911 dispatcher. I'd love to do some evening or early morning walks to start and would like to expand into pet sitting as my schedule allows. I have preference to pet sitting at the clients home because my roommates dog is a bit fickle on who she gets along with. Plus I own a cat and I know not every dog likes cats. As a pet sitter, I intend to take your dog for regular walks in addition to normal outside play time. I can work with your dog on any ongoing training you have with them.

About: A Vet tech providing calm, loving, reliable, attentive pet care. Comfortable with medications, special needs, and nervous pets. I treat every animal like my own. I am currently working at a veterinary clinic, which gives me experience and flexibility. I am available on weekends and some weekdays to help out! I have two cats. I care for them by providing regular meals, fresh water, playtime, and lots of attention. I make sure they feel loved.

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was born and my grandparents volunteered for a dog rescue shelter in Eagle River, WI. I am also studying to become a mental health therapist and work with elderly, children, and those with intellectual disabilities. I believe have lots of soft skills from this experience that the animals like! During the semester I will be busy from roughly 9am-3pm, but outside of that I am very flexible for hours! My main job requires at most 3 hour sessions. I care for pets as if they were royalty! They are one of the biggest sources of joy in my life and I just couldn’t imagine not pampering them.
