“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

“We left our dog Toffee with Jenny and her family for 5 days while we attended a work conference, and we could not have asked for a better experience! This was our first time using Rover and leaving Toffee with someone we didn’t know, so we were definitely nervous at first. Jenny immediately made us feel comfortable with constant updates, pictures, and videos throughout the entire stay. Toffee had the absolute best time running around in her huge backyard, playing with her kids and her two dogs, and getting so much love and attention. It truly felt like he was treated as part of their family. You can tell Jenny genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. About: I love all animals, but cats have always had a special place in my heart. My family adopted a kitten in the year before I was born, and she immediately claimed all the baby gear for herself. She became a protector for her new human, always nearby and keeping an eye on anyone who came near me. She was the first of many cats and a few dogs, all ranging in age, personality, and needs. I adopted my own kitten in 2020, Saturn, and he is my entire life (and camera roll). He is sassy, loud, HUGE, impossibly soft, and the biggest, grumpiest baby I've ever met. I have a bank of knowledge from personal and professional experience, and I'm often that one friend who has answers to cat-related questions. Each of them are so unique and communicate with us in different ways, and one of my favorite things is learning a cat's mannerisms and likes/dislikes. Even the grumpiest or most aloof cats just need a little patience and learning how they like to interact. I am always down to snuggle or just be in the same room as them, provide different kinds of enrichment with toys or puzzles, or if your kitty is an adventurer, leash time outside. Grooming is always a toss up with cats, but I'm comfortable with the basics - brushing, nail trims, the occassional bath. I'd love to know as much as I can about them ahead of time, including if there are specific needs or accommodations they have.

When I adopted Coco 5 years ago she was a terrified stray who didn’t know how to accept love. Now she’s the most spoiled little princess and can never get enough butt pats and head scritches. About: I am a previous dog owner and current cat mom. I grew up watching dog and cat training shows on TV and going to in person purebred dog and cat show events. I enjoy spending my time with furry friends. I'm a in-home caregiver to my mom so I have lots of time to take care of your pet. About: I have four cats, two dogs, and eight chickens. I have cared for animals across the lifespan: basic obedience training, administering medications, and cleaning boxes, coops, and kennels. I have recently been working with our reactive border collie heeler mix and have learned a ton about dog behavior! I'm comfortable walking and caring for dogs of all walks of life. I work mostly from home and am able to walk dogs before, at lunch, and after work; check in on pets before/after work or throughout the day with enough notice. About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I have a part time internship at UW Madison, so I have partially and completely free days every week. That being said, I will have plenty of time to make house visits around this schedule. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.

For home visits. My 2 littles tag along with me. Unless I can get my partner to take them after work hours. I put your pets needs as a priority, so if your pet isn’t fond of children, I won’t let my kids bug them. My home has backyard access with a fence (4 foot tall chain link and 6 foot tall privacy fence along the road side). If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/raised over 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues with dogs getting loose or scuffling. Sitting in your home: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty. I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard and spend some time with them in your home.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10. My family has a doodle and I grew up with him. I graduated last year and I started raising a golden retriever. Her name is Yumi and she is 8 months old now. She has a great personality and there is no dog she can not get along with! I worked at home on weekends and I'm mostly available on holidays. Weekday schedule depends on my research and class schedule. I'm pretty flexible and open to same-day reservations. I have a dog-proofed apartment. If you have a puppy who is not fully house-trained I will be able to take care of him/her. Dogs are allowed on couches and their beds.

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”
“Nicole has a lovely house in a nice neighborhood. She sent me updates on my dog, with pictures and was able to take the dog for daily walks. I'm in between jobs and this was a most affordable great quality yet homely option.”

“Our 2 dogs stayed at Sarah's for about a week earlier this month. The stay was great! We got daily updates, including photos and videos. They have a fantastic large fenced in yard where they could safety run and play. They had lots of playtime, but also lots of snuggles and love. They were both clearly enjoying their own vacation at Sarah's while we were gone on ours. It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”
