I have a little Bombay of my own, Bruce, who I raised and bottle fed after finding him abandoned at 2 weeks old, in addition to one foster kitty (Bijou). My duties at the shelter include dog walking, dog and cat socialization, cleaning, feeding, and helping calm and restrain animals for nail trims.

Safety, trust & environment
I am always the first asked to watch a pet if a friend or family member needs a pet sitter, and I am experienced with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving certain medication to pets. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
Information Jess B. would like to know about your pet
To make your dog most comfortable on walks, it will be helpful for me to know how they do with seeing new people and other animals. For example, if your pet is reactive towards other animals, I will make sure to minimize interactions with other animals by taking alternate routes etc. Potty habits are also always helpful to know!
A typical day
Whether it be playing fetch or taking a lengthy walk, I am more than willing to help your pet get some exercise or simply burn some energy! I live close to two parks, one being Elver Park. I also live in a residential area with sidewalks so I can easily walk your pup if they need a quieter walk or tend to be reactive to other dogs and people.

Pet care experience
I’ve always been passionate about helping animals in need, and I currently volunteer/foster for Shelter from the Storm. Volunteering and fostering through SFTS has helped me gain a wealth of knowledge as to how to handle a wide variety of different animals and breeds at all levels of energy and socialization.
Reviews

I had the best vacation knowing my fur babies were in great hands . Jess was amazing with them . I couldn’t ask for a better sitter . She’s great ! I will hire her again and again !!

Great communication and really great at giving our very barky/anxious dog the space and time to get used to her. Highly recommend!

I just recently got a dog and I work night shift as a nurse. I’ve discovered that my doggy has pretty severe separation anxiety. She completely tore through her dog bed, ripped a hole in the carpet, and even started to bend the metal wires of my crate. I was able to watch my dog on my pet camera and knew she was struggling. Jess went ABOVE AND BEYOND with her care. She cleaned up the messes and even came over early one night when I knew my dog was freaking out. I truly couldn’t survive this week at work without Jess. Forever grateful and 100000% recommend.

Jess is the absolute BEST! She’s so good with my two doggos and so responsive when she takes care of them both on short walks and overnight 10/10 would recommend!
